The hotel is well located, the rooms are small, but convenient… the only downside is the smell of the ‘home-fragrance’ that is used in all the communal areas. From the moment you enter the lobby this smell takes your breath away, in the worst possible way. This is not a subtle smell, it is just un-breathable, penetrating stench.
Room was to small for 2 persons. Not much space to put you clothes.

The hotel has a lovely presentation. The check in process was disappointing given it was Christmas Day, the young girl on the front desk when we entered was what can only be described as rude, barely acknowledging myself and my family and joking with a colleague instead whilst checking us in. The rooms were not as presented in the pictures, with the beds being downstairs not in the loft, making the loft space quite unusable and the bed taking up most of the bottom floor, the TV was off to the side of the lounge so awkward to watch. I requested one room be set up with two single beds, this was ignored and had to be changed to an alternative cheaper room with no mention of refund or compensation. The rooms were beautifully presented and clean. The breakfast is exceptional and a real highlight of the hotel.

Stayed at M Social for my birthday and honestly… it was such a vibe 🎉✨ Room was spotless (just a tiny little floor stain but nothing serious) and everything felt cozy. The aircon wasn’t ice-cold even at 16°C, but it kept things cool enough — unless you start running around the room 😅. One stair felt a bit wiggly but still totally safe. The best part? The sweetest surprise — I think the manager personally came up to my room with chocolate and wished me happy birthday 🥹🍫. That small gesture made my whole stay feel extra special. Overall, clean place, great atmosphere, and staff that genuinely care. Would definitely come back! ❤️
This was our first time staying in M Social Singapore during a family holiday, and it was a very pleasant experience. We stayed at M Social Singapore for 3 nights, and everything was very comfortable. The room was cozy and well-maintained, and the facilities were complete. The location is very convenient — if we wanted to eat, we could simply walk outside the hotel and find several dining options. There is also a mart right next to the building, which made our stay even more comfortable and hassle-free. This was my second stay here , and I returned because of how comfortable and welcoming my first visit was . I’m happy to say the experience was just as great this time if not better . The entire check in and check out process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and professional . Special thanks to staff Rahimi who went above and beyond , assisting and ensuring my stay there was a pleasant one ! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property was nice and clean, and the location was very convenient. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Armando from reception especially stood out — he was cheerful, easygoing, and went above and beyond to make my stay special. He noticed from my passport that I had just celebrated my birthday and surprised me with some sweet treats and an unexpected room upgrade (Thank you to ma’am Anna as well). We had a great stay at Social M. The rooms were a little small, but with the terrace it gave us a little more space. Whatever cleaning products were used in the lobby caused an allergic reaction for me and I was very unwell. The smell was overpowering - but it’s the only thing I could complain about. The pool was lovely and the breakfast was delicious, with staff in the restaurant being very attentive and helpful.

The only thing about this hotel was the pool glass wasn't cleaned at all, there were two very visible handprints on it for the entire 14 days, despite mentioning it to staff. Otherwise the hotel and pool area were very clean, housekeeping team were delightfully helpful and friendly, gym and laundry area clean, and the location was perfect. The MRT is not that far and the bus stop is just across the other side of the river. I've been to Singapore many times and this will be the first hotel I check for price and availability going forward.
I recently stayed over the PH week. While we understand that it was a peak period, the check-in process was noticeably slow with a long queue upon arrival. We waited patiently, knowing it was a busy day. However, I would like to formally highlight several service concerns during our stay. Before purchasing breakfast, we specifically asked a staff member whether the buffet offered “Muslim-friendly” options. We were informed twice that the kitchen does not serve pork or lard and that many Muslim guests dine comfortably there. Based on this clear assurance, we paid an additional $43 to include breakfast. The following morning, we found multiple pork dishes being served at the buffet. As Muslim guests, we rely entirely on the accuracy of information provided when making decisions related to religious dietary requirements. This was not a casual assumption, we sought clarification and were given definitive answers. For a 4 star hotel, providing incorrect information on such a sensitive matter is unacceptable. This experience left us feeling misled and disregarded. In addition, we were informed that housekeeping services were unavailable after 9pm. When we requested extra towels later in the evening, we were told they could only be delivered the next morning. Basic amenities such as towels should not be restricted in this way especially without prior notice. Overall while the property may position itself as a 4 star hotel, our experience did not reflect the service standards expected at that level.
My stay at the hotel was perfect and exceeded my expectations. Everything was at a very high level and extremely well organized. The restaurant, breakfast, swimming pool, gym, and housekeeping were amazing — very clean, high quality, and carefully maintained. While the reception could be slightly more warm and friendly to fully match the hotel’s standard, I would still like to emphasize that the overall staff was professional, helpful, and attentive. Despite this small suggestion, I am more than happy to give a 5-star rating and would gladly recommend this hotel.

Came for a birthday staycation, during check-in the queue was so long. When it was finally my turn, the queue died down , the staff(malay/indian lady) asked me to queue at another line which started to have a queue, I didn't move because I would have to re-queue again and no one is behind me at all. She became really rude and said she is about to end work so I have to queue again at another counter. I was so shocked to received such attitude. We went in the room and it looks great but unfortunately their fridge was spoiled. We called the front counter and said its gonna be replaced. Fridge got replaced but it was not even cold to keep the birthday cake and the drinks, much less my milk. We called the front counter again and they said this was the best they could do, really felt disappointed. We had to buy ice packs to keep our drinks, milk and cake cold instead. We stayed in so many places and this is the first time we experienced fridge failure. Mind you we stayed for 4 days 3 nights, imagine my milk being not consumable and having to throw it away. Also we got the loft to enjoy the view but unfortunately we were face towards the construction area. We had to keep our curtains fully close during our staycation. There was mold on the pillows which we decided to not use at all. Quite disappointed as this is the first time we had a staycation at a 4 star hotel and we met so many unfortunate events. The good points were the bed was very comfortable, the toilet has a bidet and the TV had good channels. Location was great, walkable distance to Clarke and New Bahru, short buses to Chinatown and Orchard too. But would I return again? Not really, the front counter staff and the fridge really ruined my staycation unfortunately.
Hi there, I would like to share my recent experience during our 2-night stay (1–3 January 2026) in a Loft Gallery Room with my wife, who is pregnant. As locals, we were really looking forward to our New Year staycation, and this was also our first time staying at M Social Singapore. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of our expectations. First day – Check-in issues Upon entering the room, we did our usual checks to ensure everything was clean and working properly. We soon discovered that the TV was not working. We contacted the front desk and a technician came up, but the issue could not be fixed due to technical problems. We were then told that our room would be changed. However, after waiting almost half an hour, no one followed up with us. I had to call the front desk myself to check on the room change, only to find out that the front desk was not aware of our situation. It seemed that the request was not properly communicated or recorded in the system. Eventually, we went down to the front desk ourselves, only to realize that the staff there was also unaware that we were supposed to change rooms. This made us feel puzzled and exhausted after a long wait, especially on our first day. Finally, we were given a new room. Second day – Housekeeping & system issues The next morning during breakfast, we noticed that although our room had been changed, the system still reflected our original room number. Before heading out, we were informed that housekeeping operates between 9.20am to 6pm. We left for the day and returned around 5.30pm, only to find that our room had not been cleaned. I called the front desk and was told someone would come up within 15 minutes. After waiting 15 minutes, I called again and was asked to wait another 15 minutes. After nearly 45 minutes and past 6:15 pm, I had to make a third call before someone finally came to clean the room. This delay was extremely frustrating, as we could not shower or prepare for dinner. Third day – Checkout & security concern On checkout day, after breakfast, we requested a one-hour late checkout extension from 11am to 12noon. The front desk staff acknowledged this request and appeared to update it in the system. However, when we returned to our room around 11.20am, our access card no longer worked and we were locked out, with all our luggage and belongings still inside. Thankfully, a nearby cleaner helped us open the door. This raised a serious security concern for us. If a cleaner can open a room door without proper verification, it means guests’ belongings could potentially be accessed or stolen without checks, which is very worrying. Overall, we experienced repeated issues throughout our 2-night stay—from poor communication, system errors, delayed housekeeping, to security lapses. This was especially disappointing given the hotel’s 4-star rating and the fact that we chose this stay to welcome the New Year. I hope the management will seriously review your internal systems, staff communication, and service standards to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

i always stay at Ma social for business trip. the room is just perfect and comfortable to me. the bed is very comfy to sleep, the bedsheets very clean. room and bathroom very clean.. they have breakfast very nice..

Plus, parking was hassle-free, making it a convenient choice for anyone visiting.
I had a solo travel trip to watch a sports tournament in early 2025. I found the hotel very convenient. The room was small, but it had large windows that let in plenty of light, and the atmosphere was pleasant because it was located by the riverside. The area was incredibly safe and convenient for walking around and exploring the surroundings, allowing me to soak in some local vibes in Singapore. Since I was out all day, staying in a large hotel room wasn't really necessary. However, if you're using public transportation, especially the subway, and you're not used to walking long distances, you might want to consider the hotel's location carefully. The subway station is a bit far from the hotel, and if you're a woman returning late at night, it's good to be a little cautious as the area can be quite deserted, though still safe. If you’re using ride-hailing services, there’s absolutely no issue or difficulty.
The location is excellent ..close to Clarke Quay and with bicycles available for rent nearby. The pool is nice, but it has only a few chairs, and every time I went (three times in total) it was quite busy. The room is compact but very tidy, same as the rest of the hotel. However, the windows can’t be opened, and after four nights, the space felt a bit too small for me. I eventually moved to another hotel with a larger room, which was more comfortable for a longer stay.
I enjoyed my stay at M Social and loved that I could easily walk to the different attractions and other places from the hotel. The only thing that made my stay a little less than perfect were the stained curtains. The window view was very nice aside from the curtains. Additionally, the hotel should consider removing all carpet, because it doesn't look very clean, and carpet is known to trap bacteria, allergens, and mold. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay.
Not in your traditional tourist area, but with Great World City a short walk away and Zion Rd Food Centre, can’t ask for more. Transport options are plenty with buses and train options at your disposal. Singapore river is right beside so great for morning or late night walk/run if you want. Room is snug but provides all the comfort needed for a few nights stay, won’t feel the snug-ness because of the high ceiling. A pleasant stay and will come back again.
Located in the heart of SG, it was so easy to get by to many other areas as it’s located near Havelock MRT Station. I can’t tell you enough how much I love the area, it is a great place to just walk your pet, sit by the park, or jog. Facilities were impressive , complimented by a clean, comfortable bathroom and strong Wi-Fi. Sleep quality was also excellent. Great value for SG hotel prices.
The room design is nice. We stayed for 4 days, and the service was good. The room was cleaned every day, and fresh towels were provided daily. The front desk staff was very helpful. My daughter had a small accident and injured her foot. We didn’t know where to find a clinic at 11:30 pm, but the front desk staff kindly offered alcohol wipes and bandages. Unfortunately, I missed the staff's name. Thank you for the help. will come again for sure

Was thoroughly surprised by the quality, cleanliness & condition of the Alcove Queen room. Our stay was during Valentines, even with the numerous people checking in, the staff were quite speedy with the process. The room itself was lovely, with working TV & air conditioner, with the bathroom being clean as well as providing warm and pressurized shower. All in all, a lovely stay & recommended staycation for couples!
We stayed at M Social Singapore for a night and while the room design was modern and stylish—which we really appreciated—our experience was affected by several issues. 1. The TV wasn’t working when we checked in. Although the staff tried to help by replacing it, the process took more than an hour. In the end, we just told them to leave it as we were only staying for one night. 2. We also had issues flushing the toilet, which seemed to be due to a lack of water pressure. Thankfully, the staff responded quickly and helped resolve the situation. 3. We booked the room for three guests, but the amenities provided (like towels, water, and toiletries) were only for two. We had to request for the extra items, and while it took some time, the staff remained patient and accommodating throughout. On the bright side, the ambiance was great, and the breakfast was decent—nothing outstanding, but satisfying. The pool is quite small, but clean and well-maintained. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential with its design and location, and the staff were excellent, but the experience could have been much better if the room had been properly prepared and maintained.

I had a good stay. Was in the city for 2 days. The unit is self sufficient, although the sink is outside to save space. It’s a bit compact space wise but it’s optimized and you won’t have space to walk around. But for a short stay it’s surely value for money. Staff was very helpful and cleanliness was spot on. No complaints other than space, would highly recommend for tourists coming to visit the city for a short duration of less than a week.
This is a beautiful, comfortable and extremely welcoming place to stay. Perfect location with a great restaurant attached. Awesome breakfast, pool area is beautiful and they stored our luggage on check out day and allowed us back up into the hotel when we picked them up to change ready for our flight. I will most definitely be back.
I had alcove terrace room, really tiny room but terrace makes a difference. Room is quiet, bed comfortable, pillows good. The pool is excellent for afternoon break. The room service good. Hotel restaurant is really good. My only small concern was reception as the staff behaved without any emotion and like they are scared of any kind conversation. But the process of checking in was smooth.

The hotel is really nice. Alcove room is tiny and very hard to stay for 2 people. Breakfast is really good and has a lot of diversity. Most of the staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful. I want to mention Jessica, she was the best. Very helpful, nice, and she did her best to help us! Thank you Jessica, you made this stay much better!
I’m quite disappointed with the service I experienced. I requested an ice bucket and a wine glass, but the front desk staff informed me that the restaurant was closed and therefore could not assist. However, when I went downstairs, I noticed that the restaurant door (auto gate) was accessible and there was staff inside cleaning. This gave the impression that access was possible, yet no effort was made to accommodate a simple request. Additionally, I asked a housekeeping staff member for bathrobes and was told to request them through the front desk. When I did, I was informed that the hotel does not provide bathrobes at all. The inconsistent information and lack of assistance were frustrating. I understand that policies exist, but clearer communication and a more helpful attitude would have made a significant difference.
Size of the room is just good for two. Bed was comfy but the room is a little dim. The room we got is just opposite another residential and had some cleaning works going on. Technically had to keep the curtains close most of the time but that just minor inconveniences. Location is great, the walk is not too far to the nearest MRT. Close to many eateries just by the riverside. All in all, great experience!

The hotel is walkable to MRT and bus station. There is a convenience store (711) nearby and really a great place to stay as for my trip this time, I wanted to visit New Bharu and guess what, its walking distance to NB. Great for couples as you have a street of bars below the hotel. Very peaceful and not bustling. We find the hotel clean and has all basic amenities. Definitely would stay again.
The room was good, clean and comfortable. TV was a bit faulty, some channels are not clear. If the tv are upgraded will add value to the experience. No youtube on tv. Halal indication on breakfast food will be great and appealing. Coffee was great. Ambience was fantastic. Even though just one night, felt like we were not in sg.
Our initial deluxe room had weak air-conditioning, but the engineer attended to it quickly and recommended a room change. The manager kindly moved us to a loft room, which was much bigger and comfortable. The air-conditioning was still on the weaker side compared to other hotels, but everything else was enjoyable. The location is excellent, and for the price I paid, this hotel is definitely a good find.
The hotel is so trendy and modern especially the entrance and lobby. Great check in process, smooth and friendly front desk. Surprise to be upgraded to a loft room when I got into the room at level 6. Overall stay was great. Housekeeping cleanliness can be improved as the dust are accumulating near the sink around and the stairs. Would stay again when I am visiting Singapore next time.

Chic hotel with gym and pool right next to the Robertson River park to join the joggers. Great breakfast at the beautiful Beast and Butterfly restaurant. I enjoyed my relaxing breakfast watching people running and walking. At night time the Riverside strip is bustling with activities. Our Alcove room is small and twin bed is 2/3 of the US width 😅 however it is very comfortable.
I celebrated my birthday with a staycation at M Social Hotel Singapore and truly enjoyed my stay. The hotel has a stylish and modern vibe, and the room was clean, cozy, and beautifully designed. Right by the river with lots of cafe, restaurant, lovely walk to other areas. Closest mrt station 7 min walk. Love the pool with fresh towels and free cold water for guests. Really enjoyed our stay!

Hotel location is good for ones that’d appreciate the chill side of Singapore, close to cafes and special restaurants. For those who want to enjoy the local fares etc this would be a little far away and needed to travel out a little. Room is very dimmed for my long stay and with a tree in front of my window I felt that 6 days stay was perpetually in a dark room. Room is clean. Some staff were helpful and some were really cold to questions (especially during check out the attitude changed). I was initially telling myself it can be a place to return to until the last moment experience.
