Gezellig, sfeervolle accomodatie”

Zeer mooi natuurlijk aangelegd resort met een groot hart voor ecologie. Gezellige centrale ruimte. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ik had de meest simpele bungalow geboekt. En die was inderdaad heel simpel.. maar goed genoeg, zeker voor het geld!

Stinky room but nice bar”

We stayed one night in the bungalow that was completely open to the animals in the bathroom and had a humid stink during all night. The restaurant is really nice and with good music but we felt that the staff was only thinking about making money and pressuring us to buy their tours, etc. we found a better place same price just a few meters from it... Good tour, btw.

Great location, great staff, great food”

Great location - on the main strip, 10 minute walk from the entrance to the park. Easily walkable from the bus stop (10 minutes). Great staff - very helpful and full of advice. Arranged my tours and changed my booking to account for the night I would be staying at the lake Great food - good price and very tasty! The rooms are a good size and the bed was reasonably comfortable. Jungle wildlife comes as an added bonus

Perfect hospitality”

Bastien and his team are incredibly helpfull and informative. Food is very good and the restaurant has a great vibe with excellent choice of music.

Terrible”

In Agoda there is only one picture, but I check also booking, so the pics was not so bad, but reallity was terrible. Shower, if you can called it so, was plastic stick in the wall and from it comes water, it was not even a shower, there was no warm water. The fan was so loud that you can't sleep, the noise from the street was so loud that you can't sleep, the pillow was so high, that head fall off all the time, could not sleep. Wifi only in public area. Was happy to go away. Positive was that the tour to park was good, but the same tour you can get at every corner in this one street for the same price.

Really friendly people here... Good information. Because we were late, we decided to stay another night. They were full, but had the familyroom left. To expensive for us so they made a dorm from it, cool. Lovely food! Thank you Bastian and the rest!

Super nice staff and common areas with hammocks, makes you really want to chill there... other reason is that the wifi in my room was inexistant :(. Do know when you book than bamboo bungalows are rustic accommodations. You may encounter bugs and other stuff. It’s in the jungle !

Filthy room”

An insect nest the size of a football on the wall directly above the bed (with some sort of flying insects in it), dirty walls, termite tracks all over the ceiling, a plant growing into the hut through an opening in the roof and our front door did not close properly leaving an inch-wide gap. When we arrived, nobody was at the counter, as the two staff members were hanging out on hammocks on the balcony. Not worth the money, even if it was cheap. Would not recommend. We stayed at a much better hotel down the street for 50 baht more.

Everything Smells Like Mildew”

Pros: nice staff, lots of pretty foliage, seem to have good tours (I didn't take one) Cons: SMELLS AWFUL, cold cold cold shower, too expensive I camp often. I love to rough it. I love long hikes and sleeping for weeks in hammocks and on the ground. But at least when you camp you get fresh air. This place would have been nice but I couldn't fall asleep because of the suffocating smell of mildew. It was really really gross. Shower was cold and bathroom was not someplace I would walk without footwear. I would have preferred sleeping in a tent and for a third of the price there are dorm rooms down the road with AC.

Great stay in the jungel”

This is one of the best locations you can book in khao sok national park. It's really close to the park. The bungalows are clean and comfortable with a separate bathroom with a toilet and a shoeer. The bad is really nice to sleep on. The people working there are very helpful and dedicated. The owner is a german guy and he is very friendly and finds the perfect tour for you. The food there is very taste and we ate all out meals there. I would definitely recommend this location!

Great place to stay”

I stayed at Monkey Mansion for 5 days and what can I say...it was excellent! Sebastian and his team take very good care of their guests and you can ask them basically everything and they will have an answer for you. I booked all my tours with them, too and they make sure that you get the good guides, so that you can see a lot of wildlife in the jungle. What they have created in the jungle is a very chill atmosphere with great "Jungalows", good food and an awesome vibe. I would definitely come back!

Great place, friendly staff and awesome tours guide! ”

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is great: you feel welcome, very laidback, no pressure in selling tours to you and great value for money. Lovely bungalows and we already saw some 'wildlife'. They hire a great guide for the night tour and for the jungle trekking. Dont think I can mention his name, but ask for a local 'bit crazy' guide, he really made the night tour amazing. And later on we did a one day jungle trekking and that was entertaining and you learn a lot!! We stayed here for a few nights. Def recommend it!!

A very nice stay in the middle of the jungle”

We had a great time at the Monkey Mansion Bungalows. The experience of living in the middle of the jungle was genuine and even though we experienced seasonal rain, met some frogs and bugs, we truly loved the common area where we spent a lot of time. The team was very friendly and gave us good advice on the tours to choose. The food was also great and there was a lot of choice, including for vegetarians! We will definitely go back to these bungalows next time we are in the area.

Not a luxury price so don't expect luxury however you do get friendly & helpful staff, big area to relax in a hammock or comfy cushions and eat good food. Room is simple and good enough to base for ajungle exploration Would stay again.

Ein Leben wie Mogli”

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral am Rande des Khao Sok Nationalparks, dessen Eingang Eingang nur wenige hundert Meter entfernt liegt. Die Unterkunft wird von einem Deutschen betrieben, der sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ist. Er hat sich sehr viel Zeit für uns genommen und uns ausführlich über die unterschiedlichen Tourangebote, von denen man eine Vielzahl direkt bei ihm buchen kann, informiert. Das deluxe Bungalow ist sehr sauber, groß und gemütlich. Das Essen ist super lecker und das Personal außerdem sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen! Absolute Weiterempfehlung!
