Good stay”

Stayed here two times as a transit (first time from Koh Mook, second time from Koh Lanta). Even if it is dormitory, I felt it much more comfortable than private rooms that I stayed in Koh Mook and Koh Lanta. If Trang was a more touristic place, I would stay here for a longer period.

Perfect stay and full stomach all day!”

U can have free water,tea,coffee and hotchoc all day. U can make your own breakfast in shared kitchen,they provide eggs,breads,cereals,milk and banana. One of the best stay..value for money. Great host,feels like family. If u are on the tight budget,but looking for a comfortable place to stay.this is the right place for u.

Clean and friendly staffs”

I stayed in 4-bed-dorm as a transit to the island the next morning. Everything was okay, as good as advertised. Spacious and clean room, comfy bed, clean bed sheet. Self-cooking breakfast was a plus. Even for longer stay, this is a good place. Highly recommend!!!

A nice quiet dorm with a beautiful lobby area”

I love this place. Ended up to stay here for 10nights in Trang. I love the distance between it to the nightmarket which had dinner everynight. There's a nice mall close by suitable for lunch. Clocktower is 15mins walking. Railway station is 25mins walking. I love the kitchen . Bed is cozy and toilet is clean. I will definately choose to stay here again if I come back to Trang.

Excellent guesthouse in Trang - Great value”

We stayed here for just a night in a twin room and I wish it could have been longer. The check in process was quick and effective, the guesthouse as a whole was very comfortable with good breakfast, a relaxed vibe and helpful staff. Room itself was of an excellent standard. Comfy beds, clean bathroom and loved the concrete look. Excellent touches here. Room a little hot when going into it for the first time and the aircon seems to struggle a little but give it time and the room will end up being quite comfy. Could have easily stayed another night here.

Clean hostel”

You can take the blue bus from Trang bus station to the hostel. It cost 12 bahts . Near to the night market. No power point at the individual bed.

Nice place”

Located a little far from downtown but for me the location was great as the street doesn't get much traffic. Stayed both in the double bed and the 8 bed dorm for about a week. One side of the double bed had a smell of vomit but other than that, it was very clean. Staff is friendly but they're hesitant to place people in the 8 bed dorm if it's mostly empty for cost savings. You can cook your own eggs, there's also bananas, plantains, bread, jam, margarine, coffee and hot water. Dorm does not not include bottled water but the double room does. The kitchen is a very nice addition though, adds a homey feeling.

If you are looking for a cheap and clean place to sleep, this is the one. The staff (May) is really nice and helpful. We only think our bathroom can be nicer. The tiles almost fall off of the wall, some old and black stain between tiles and sometime the toilet releases unpleasant smell. But, all in all it was a nice stay :)

Superieur”

Friendly staff. Nice room. Good DIY breakfast. Trang is a bit quiet but there seems to be caves and waterfalls in a nearby national park if you rent a scooter. I was just passing through so I didn't visit any. Also, cheap food near the train station.

Clean and great value for money”

Pro: Clean, big bed, fresh sheets (no overwhelming conditioner smell), lovely reception, bfast included. Bfast: Although great idea with making yourself a breakfast we felt it lacked variety e.g. some veggies, green tea and not just toasted bread. Again I’m a veggy and care about food hence why this review. Other than that all great!

Good place to stay”

You can take bus (blue one) from Trang bus terminal to the hostel and vice versa, the bus will stop at the corner of Phatthalung road and Udormlap road, so you need to walk a bit to Nokhook house. The dorm and overall hostel are clean, however some small corners and the window in front of the sink in the kitchen look dirty. They offer 4 island hopping tour w price of 900 baht include ticket to national park. Just keep an eye on the cheaper tour. But that's a great tour you dont want to miss when you come to Trang province.

Good for short stay”

Only one improvement is shower area, it looks unfinished part including tile, tap or pipe but everything is in order and clean. Room has all you need such as air-con, TV, hot water, shampoo, shower gel...no kettle in the room but you can get it in common area which is very nice touch there.

recommended for solo traveler ”

friendly and helpful staff, very clean comfy bed. nice aircon but sometime bathroom is quite smelly. Awesome breakfast. it wasnt buffet but they provide bread jam butter plus eggs with the fact that you can cook it your way is super cool in my opinion. reasonable price. No plug near bed only next to sofa which is a bit inconvenience but overall everything is great. I had a nice stay and will return when I have chance.

The staff were wonderful and the dorm rooms and beds were fantastic. A really cute and comfy space and everything seemed super clean and new. There is a night market very nearby with delicious cheap food and some stores and cafes.

Great place to stay! ”

First off trang is pretty dead for travellers! But as a place to see real thailand its pretty good.... much cheaper to do tours from here than the touristy areas, the hostel organised everything really smoothly. Clean, decent location and a nice place to stay!

Quiet, off town and a decent place to stay”

Room - could improve with more lighting, too dark for my liking. Bathroom - standard soap and shampoo and clean towels Bed - the mattress is over a wooden plank that was too long for the mattress and coming off the bed, I kept scratching my leg. Staff - thoughtful and friendly. Many thanks for preparing coffee before our early departure.

Feels Like Home!”

It was the best hostel so far! Room was really nice and clean with AC. Bathroom was with shampoo and shower gel. Friendly staff and free breakfast. The design of the hostel was so cool! I stayed two nights and if I go there , will be my one and only preference! Thank you.!

If you get Room 6 facing west and you arrive mid afternoon you might die from the heat when you set foot in your room. But overall this is a lovely little hotel/ hostel. Big room, good running hot water, friendly staff. Don't forget to check out Meringue & Me coffee shop on the main road, the one with the red awning.
