Oasis Dead Sea Hotel
mooi hotel, lekkere spa”
Lovely lobby, but very dated rooms.”
Nice amenities, excellent breakfast, dated rooms with dirty carpet and old bathrooms.
good to visit again
Dear Lucia, So glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we are thankful for your high rating. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you with us again in the near future. Best, Deena Moskowitz Guest Relationations Manager
Impolite staff and poor bar”
Pros: 1. warm indoor pool with dead sea water(a small pool) 2. close to the beach 3. decent breakfast Cons: 1. Staff are not helpful in reception and ignored our questions about the hotel facilites 2. noisy room on lower floor with the bar downstairs 3. the bar just had little choice in alcohol 4. the staff even refused to give us one more towel after we came back from beach. Just urged us to check out. 5.water came out from bath tub and the floor went wet
Dear Chit, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback. We are pleased you found the indoor pool, location and breakfast to your liking. We apologize for the inconveniences you experienced with the service and the noise. Your comments have been forwarded to the relevant staff for immediate improvement. We apologize again. Regards, Deena Moskowitz Guest Relations Manager
Good hotel, great location”
Goid breakfasts, should be cleaner. There are carpets everywhere and they would deserve cleaning at least once a year! Good food, good facility and friendly staff and efficient staff. It is just next to the beach. The hotel was full of Russian turists, which have sometimes discutable behaviour.
Dear Irena, Thank you kindly for taking the time to provide us with your review and feedback of your stay with us in the Dead Sea. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the breakfasts and your stay in general. Your comments have been forwarded to the appropriate staff for improvement. We hope you will return to experience the magic of the desert with us again soon. Best, Deena Moskowitz Guest Relations Manager
I would recommend to all type of single travellers. For kids not much to do. Dead sea at the door st”
Staff very friendly and helpful, SPA was amazing. Multilingual and professional. Food-just all best compliments-thanks to Food and Beverage Manager. Very clean rooms. Towels changing daily. Live music at the lobby every evening. I was very impressed -recomending to all type travellers. Not much to do for kids, no playground, no playrooms. Is not much entertainment in the dark time, so, I would recommend a small cinema room, mini cinema teatre. Would take more people out of room in the evening. Shuttle buses operating, you can order any tour around the places at the reception. Prices- affordable, but Israel expensive country itself, so extra money you must have. If I'll be back to Dead Sea- I'll stay in the same place, cause I like comfort and not too overcrowded places. If you are the same, you should go to Oasis hotel. Best luck for guys over there and thanks again.
Dear Nida, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide valuable feedback on your stay with us in the Dead Sea. We are glad you found the staff multilingual, helpful and friendly with clean rooms, entertainment and the value good. Your suggestion of more entertainment during the day will be fully considered, though the Hotel is mainly quiet during the day and there is the spa, outdoor pool etc. Though we are very glad to have your feedback and especially reading that you would come and stay here again. Many thanks and all the best, Deena Moskowitz- Guest Relations Manager
Enjoyable day at the Dead Sea”
We only stayed for 1 night and everything was comfortable. The one call out was we were going to miss complimentary breakfast. The other hotels made us a to-go breakfast, we didn't get the offer here.
In global nice horel”
good location, unconvinient spa and fitness working time, only from 8 to 18. light and modern hall, helpfull staf. small room. some of restaurant staff has no the same uniform, serv in causual dress. good food variations, fresh fruits, high quality desserts
Nicely refurbished hotel”
to my surprise this was the carlton hotel refurbished with new lobby and garden, and tastefully decorated spa.when we arrived back from the opera at massada (aida) at 0200am there were drinks and snacks in the lobby gratis ! nice touch.
general tourist hotel”
the receptionist is not kind enough. she didn't accept we stayed together. we used to stay in a room with my 2 kids. it's not good we have to pay one more room charge. the breakfast is not good enough.
It was OK but not great”
The hot tub was full of laundry soap foam suggesting they don't use a defoamer. They didn't make it clear the tickets for chairs on the beach could only be used for the plastic chairs from the guy on the left side and not for recliners from the guy on the right side of the beach. As we were getting ready to leave the electricity or the whole building went out. We had to wait about 10 minutes at the elevator for the electricity to come back on and one of the elevators was broken. When we checked out their computers and credit card machines were still down from the electricity outage even though the electricity was back on. They tried to tell me in addition to our spa charges we also owed for another night for the room. I had to provide my receipt to prove I didn't owe for another night. Because the credit card machines were still not working I had to pay the spa bill with cash and they couldn't give me a receipt because the computer was still down.
Dear Robert, Thank you for your valuable feedback which we can use to better the experience for present and future guests. We first want to apologize for the problems with the electricity and the credit card machines. This is an unusual occurrence and we are very sorry that this affected the enjoyment of your stay. Hope to have the pleasure of hosting you with us again in the near future. Best, Deena Moskowitz Guest Relations Manager

Valuable for Dead Sea staying”
Nothing complaint from this price
Good location. Terrible dirty room like what you'd get in a 1-star roadside motel. ”
Terrible dirty room. Two twin beds pushed together. Presented as Queen-size. TV without a remote that did not show any channels when turned on manually. Looks nice from the outside and has a decent lobby. Tiny elevator that doesn't fit more then 2 people with luggage and on account takes forever to come. Should be grateful our request for a high floor was denied and we could carry our luggage down 3 flights of stairs.
Dear Igor, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your valuable feedback on your stay with us. We want to first apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Your comments on the elevators, which depending on how much luggage you may have or other guests in the elevator may have, can be for 2 individuals, but the max is 8, which is standard size. We would have loved to help if we knew the issue and we are sorry you were inconvenienced in this way. We are glad that you enjoyed the lobby and the Hotel's facade. dr. H. J. Hungary”
Receptionist Anastya was very helpful and friendly. The reception hall is very butifull and clean. The spa parts is very nice. The sauna is not enough warm, but the hammam, see water pool, jakuzzi are very good. It's sticky, that the guests of the Oasis Dead See couldn't use the spa parts till 6.00p.m, the guests of the Oasis Spa Hotel till 10.00p.m. The sight of the dirty fire stairs from our room was beastly. All of the morning 8.00 a.m. (Mid. European time 7.00) knocked the man of the cleaning service. It was terrible.
Not too bad”
Rooms were quite old. Aircon was too cold, bathroom water was too hot. But location not too bad. Has private beach (although closed) and in house spa. Breakfast not bad. Small mall nearby and a nice restaurant (Taj Mahal) nearby too.
Dated but Good Enough”
The hotel lobby looks new but the rooms are dated and needs some refurbishing. Especially the room carpets. It has a private beach but was closed when we were there. I am not sure of the reason for this. Swimming pool was good. Breakfast was not too bad. There is a small mall nearby which is within walking distance.
We enjoyed our stay overall but I did find the reception and manager in the dining area not to helpful. The food was ok not much variety hot food for vegetarians, We didn't book for evening meals but on one occasion we did decide to eat I the hotel, the food was unacceptable and we were charge 200NIS ABOUT £40 plus very expensive and not worth it. The spa is good worth having a massage prices vary for the treatment you have from 200NIS to around 400NIS. Dead Sea very close and was lovely treat.
Dead sea trip”
Overall the hotel is okay. The customer services with the staff (bit the spa staff. ..they were great) was the biggest issue. For example there were no signs for any of the food at breakfast, this it was very hard to figure out what each item was. We talked to them about this each morning until our last when my girlfriend said to the manager "what if someone had an allergies" as my girlfriend does . He laughed at her. I think If the staff would act a bit more professionally the place would get a much higher ranking...service goes a long ways.
