The best what you can get on Praslin for a reasonable price”

Because of the overall guests reviews, we didn't expect a lot. But as we checked-in, it was much better than we thought. Great pool area, nice bar with live sport and friendly staff. Very big and luxurious room with a terrasse. You have everything you need and even more. Enough parking lots. We tried the SPA and liked it. The only thing that we didn't like were the prices in the restaurant, to pay 20 Euros p.p. for breakfast or 35 Euros p.p. for dinner buffet without drinks is too expensive. The restaurant is overpriced.

Excellent”

No need for a seaview to be an excellent resort. Oasis has been a really pleasant discovery. Everything was clean, the staff was kind and friendly and the restaurant was proposing good menu. I would book again here withouy any doubt. Big plus the nice pool.

Oasis is fantastic”

For starters, it was my birthday and I got a surprise birthday cake! The staff were amazing (Annasile, Bernard, Shatish, Princess, everyone). The rooms are HUGE and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms are HUGE and beautifully decorated. The bed was soooo comfortable. The terrace is incredible. The pool lovely. The food good. All around a fantastic place.

We enjoyed our stay at the Oasis Hotel. It was very clean, and had all the necessary facilities one may need on holiday. Their swimming pool was good too.

Relaxing Stay”

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on honeymoon. This hotel is well kept and very clean. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The pool bar is well priced and very convenient. The breakfast was lovely with a variety of options. The supper was a set menu. They also offer a poolside menu as well as pizzas. We hoped to have an a la cart menu for supper as we had seen their meals online but a la cart was not on offer at the time that we were there. They have live music on a Friday and Saturday night. The pool area is great for relaxing. There is a supermarket nearby to stock up on snacks and drinks for your minibar. I would stay here again. Thank you Oasis

Beautiful resort with adventurous walk to the beach”

The resort was very beautiful, neat and clean. The staff was very friendly and helped with every question we had. The breakfast was good, healthy and diversified. We really enjoyed the pool with its bar and the kind barkeeper. The beach was reachable in about 2 min walking time by crossing a street where not many cars are passing by, and a small jungle part. The beach (Grand Anse) was so beautiful with its white sand and all the palm trees <3 All in all we had a very nice stay and enjoyed our time at the resort.

Staff was not that friendly”

Room had broken window curtain, which we complaint on arrival ,but they didn't fix till our departure. and even staff was not that friendly.

Dissappointing honeymoon experience”

It was our honeymoon and nothing was offered, not even some decoration in the room, so I recommend other hotels if you are in honeymoon. The only thing is the pool, its almost like in the pictures, except for the lights, which were off during our stay. Room decoration is nice also. But compared to other hotels in the islands, the price is ridiculously expensive for what you get . We didnt try the food because it wasnt included and because bad reviews (mainly breakfast) so we dont know. Something good is that it was close to the airport but walking after 5pm is not recommended, we tried and it was full of mosquitoes so we finally got a taxi. Theres also a bus stop close and we used it to go to the ferry to La Digue and Valle de Mai, it was easy. Beach in front wasnt good. Few things felt old like the bathroom, and the cleanliness was just ok. Our last night I was stopped by the receptionist when entering the hotel, just to remind me we will have to leave before 10am. I disliked that.

Good value”

We stayed at 3 hotels in the Seychelles and his was by far the cheapest. Our expectations were low but we were surprised by how good this hotel is. We booked a standard room and it had nice decor, good facilities and was very clean - everything functioned as it should and we had no complaints. The hotel is well managed and every member of staff we saw was friendly, hard-working and efficient. I would describe this hotel as a good base for those enjoying car-hire, who can travel to see the really beautiful gems that this side of the island has to offer - we had a 2-day stay to visit Valley de Mai and Anse Georgette. The hotel has a lovely pool and is framed by attractive greenery but does not have easy access to the beach, which at the time we visited (Oct) was not attractive anyway because of the mass of seaweed - not such a problem at another time of year. The hotel has live music at the weekend: good for those who want to socialise, problematic for those who want to sleep.

Good pool, nice spacious room, relaxed”

Big pool which was ideal for the kids, room was big and having own veranda made things very comfortable. Some people complain of ants or that is old but realistically the island is tropical, so you get ants and the hotel is very clean and hygienic etc, so all good. Not many facilities but you dont need them in Praslin. It is definitely a myth that people from Seychelles are friendly. Most of them are not friendly, are rude and show it, but for staff/hospitality the ones at Oasis hotel were definitely more friendly than the average you will experience in a trip in Seychelles

Dated resort hotel ”

Maybe it was due to us staying at a wonderful hotel prior to this one, but we were slightly disappointed with the overall experience at staying at this hotel. Water fountains were all switched off and the pool fountains all looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while which made swimming in the pool uninviting. The room also looked like it needed a good paint and glass seemed stained in the bathroom although it seemed it had been cleaned. Overall it wasn't an awful hotel, it just seemed that it hadn't been taken care of properly. We had no TV during our stay and the internet was always very hit and miss. Could have done a lot better.

Nice hotel with good facilities”

We island hopped for our honeymoon and this was the first of three hotels we stayed in. It had a nice family resort vibe and was incredibly quiet while we were there. The location was great with the beach just across the road. At this time of year the tides bring in the seaweed so they were nice for walking along, less so for bathing! The bus stop is just down the road and easily takes you all around the island so no need for a rental car. The room and bathroom were large and airy, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. All of the hotel was very clean and the staff friendly, especially the bar man. Th buffet breakfast had a good selection and very filling, I especially loved the omelettes. Lunch and evening food was quite expensive however, so we often ate at the local takeaway next door which was an eight of the price! Overall, this would be a great hotel for families as the pool would have kept kids entertained for hours. A lovely place to get to know the island from.

Very good stay”

The hotel is located just 10 mins away from Praslin Airport. Rooms are very neat. Swimming pool is good. Variety of food options are available. Even Indian food is available. Rooms are better than what is shown in the pictures. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel”

We booked this hotel at the last minute. Before we were at "Praslin Holiday Home" where we expected to stay 6 nights. But we left Praslin Holiday Home because it was infested by aunts (you should really avoid it). In contrary, the Oasis Hotel was really clean, the service is very professionnel. We really recommend it. Maybe just a damper : the price of excursions is a bit expensive. As a result we chose to book an excursion to Ile Curieuse and Saint Pierre with a guy based in Cote d'Or and who is named JP (Jean-Paul). Really don't do that : the guy picked us at the hotel at 11 (instead of 8:30 !!), there is really nothing to do on these islands (coral dead so no fishes) and the food prepared by JP guys was horrible (some people of the group were sick the day after).
