Good place to stay”

We met Mr. Yeoh when checked into the guesthouse. He is friendly and easy-going. He has briefed us about the guesthouse. In the room, the bed is in Japanese tatami style with king size bed. It has no sound insulation. There are a TV with NJOI channels, a plastic water jug, two towels, a roll of toilet paper and a trash basket. There are no table, chair and closet. The bathroom is a bit small. Anyhow, it was just adequate space in the room. The room was clean. The air-cond is centralised, it was comfortable even without window. There was a water dispenser, kettle, microwave, mugs, plates and few playing card games such as chess set in the common areas. You may have fun with your family members there. (the space is limited, can only fit a group of families 😂) It was very convenient as there are washing machine and cloth drying machine can be used. (By courtesy, we got permission from Mr. Yeoh. He allows normally👍👍) I was surprised that Mr Yeoh informed me about his age 70++. He looked strong and energetic. I was in a rushed that day when checked out, can't even say goodbye to Mr. Yeoh. Anyway, I wish him may stay happily and healthy everyday😊 health is wealth👍 Overall, it's worth for the money.

VERY BAD HOTEL”

The day i was arrive, there is a paper on the gate saying that i hv to call the owner first. When i call him, the owner seems does not aware of my booking & just take it for granted. The room was so bad. Just like a servant worker place. Its very bad place i can say. We decided to book other hotel (Tune Hotel) & suprisingly the rate is same like this hotel. I think agoda should banned this place as it is not a place for you to sleep.

Nobody at receiption all the time when I come in and out or check in and check out. Sometime want to ask for hair dryer but nobody at receiption.

Overpriced....and 2:45am khalwat raid!”

Super basic room. Tatami styled and with bed and no chair/table/cabinet. Hot water takes forever to be ready. Gravely overpriced for RM85/night. What more, I was rudely awakened at 2:45am by loud knocks on my room door. Then someone opened/unlocked the door and that was when I woke up! Some effing religious hypocrites were conducting khalwat raids!

Indian smell ”

Managed by Indian staff or blangladesh , the room is smelly and got Indian powder smell. Not recommending

Booked this homestay again for my relatives on my own check out day.Knowing from my relatives that the management question bout the booking that am I actually book and resale to them.....this is quite improfessional..... However feel thanksful to management for staying til 11pm plus for my relatives to check in.

Clean and convenient”

Didnt meet the management at all during our staying made us felt more convenient. Had good rest and sleep with comfortable bed.erm...is just that maybe the homestay should replace the self serviced coffee powder, it is already stiff.

Out of expectations ”

The location of the guesthouse wasn't really convenience for people who want to spent their time in town( George Town ) However, the room really worth of the money. I will strongly recommend people who wanted to stay cheap and want to hang around at tek lok temple and Penang hill

clean. affordable and comfortable. only complain is the toilet suction fan was a little too noisy but can be turned off by offing the toilet light.overall recommended to stay.

3 days 2 nights”

Staffs are friendly, environment is good. The only bad thing is that rooms are not able to connect wifi, only lobby can. I hope that it will make an improvement on this problem and I definitely will come back again.
