Good location for mass transportation”
If you were plan for travel by tube then change to bus. You could do it by easily, there has a bus stop in front of the hotel and a good route to pass Harrods, Oxford street. Room is comfortable not too small.
Fantastic location for experiencing the high end of London ”
Easy access to the underground and walking distance to Kensington palace and Hyde park gardens.
Holiday with wife”
Convenient location and friendly staff especailly staff working at restaurant very helpful with smile. Housekeeping need to improve. Dusty, window can’t be fully closed, Sink blcoked for 2 days not being disacovered. Sanitary bag and toilet box tissue not oftenly refill
Clean and convenient location”
This nice hotel is located within 3 mins walk from Gloucester Station which runs the Piccadilly line direct from LHR Airport. There's no doubt on the service standard and cleanliness of the Crowne managed hotels. We will be back again.
Both Rooms Were Comfortable & Good Size”
As I was saying at my other review, both of our room~ suite & deluxe with 2 queen bed were comfortable & good size. Suite came with access to breakfast room at lounge & access to snack in the afternoon. Our kids have to buy breakfast daily as it was not included. It was about £14 or £15 per person & can be purchased daily at the reception counter. Location was great. Will consider staying here for the next visit.
Nice Hotel, Good Breakfast, Beautiful Backyard”
The stay was great. We took 2 rooms, one of it was suite with upper level for bed & the lower level for living room. The kids room has 2 queen bed which is spacious compared to other hotel in London. Close to underground station. We normally took taxi, which easy to get in front of the hotel. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
Centrally located, nice business hotel”
Great hotel, value for money. The hotel is centrally located in the city and is just a 3 minutes walk from the subway. Hotel is clean and staff is professional and polite. There is a small shopping mall and supermarket just across the hotel. Restaurants and cafes are within walking distance.
Please don’t put any personal properties in the room or in open air inside the room when you go explore the city. We noticed something went missing after housekeeping was done. I know we don’t have prove to blame the hotel staff or anyone else. I might consider to place a mini portable CCTV to record any activities after leaving hotel room in our future trips in Europe.
Location was perfect for exploring London with Gloucester Rd Tube Station almost across the road providing direct access to both Heathrow airport and Central London. The area is safe and well resourced with places to eat, including a supermarket opposite. Chiara on Reception was fabulous and made me feel so welcome. The room overlooked the very cool beach bar and was quiet with the exception of the cleaners each morning who woke me up on both days with their noise. The room is starting to look tired with marked walls and carpet and cracked floor tiles. However the room was spotlessly clean and the rest of the hotel appeared to be in good condition. While a little on the pricy side, I would stay here again and would recommend.
Great value great service”
We loved the staff and the amenities at the crowne plaza. They have a really great breakfast and a very cool indoor and outdoor bar and restaurant. The people were kind and the room was comfortable!

Staff Good food Location
Weekend in London ”
From check in to check out. All superb. Hotel in fab location. Hotel was immaculate all public area were welcoming and classy.
The Crowne Plaza Kensington is everything it is advertised to be. Very nice and clean with wifi, nice breakfast, new appearance/not tired looking, great location and highly competent/helpful staff. I would love to stay again.
Good but sound proofing between rooms inadequate. ”
Hotel location was very convenient. Very easy access to Undergroubd and buses. Big problem was that we could hear MUCH too much from the guest next door. Coughing, bodily functions... toilet flushing and shower. Even though I paid extra for an executive room we have a connecting door to another room... and through these double doors... we heard far too much. I won't stay there again for this reason.
Central Location. Easy access to transport. ”
Good stay but given I paid for an executive floor room... it should have been better. As a connectable room... through the connecting door we could hear much too much and much too easily the next door guests ... personal noises. Coughing, use of toilet/shoulder and loud bodily functions. We would put our TV on so as not to be overheard. Needs better sound proofed. Don't accept 'connecting' rooms.
We had a good time at this hotel. It is value for money because London is very expensive and we think we made a good choice to stay here. Breakfast was nice not so many choices but you got basic things that you need, we were happy with that. We were very please with the location , walking distance to Beckingham palace and all the way to Big Ben. We would love to come back and stay here again
Value for money, fantastic location”
Easily accessible on Piccadilly line from Heathrow Airport to Gloucester Tube station. 2 supermarkets, Waitrose and Saisbury, within 5 minutes walk from hotel for necessities. Plenty of options for food around the hotel. 5 minutes walk to 3 of the biggest museums at South Kensington.
Short and sweet”
Was only there for a day but loved it - a simple, short and sweet stay with easy access to london tube. Great for going to airport since there is no need to change tube if one was to take the tube to the heathrow airport.
Excellent stay - wonderful location and staff”
Travelling with my 12 year old son, my mission was to 'show' him as much of London in 3 days as possible. All this was achieved with the aid of the staff at the Crowne Plaza who were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. It is a very comfortable hotel but with a cosy feel that is so welcomed at the end of a day sightseeing in London. Day one we were too tired to eat out and room service of pasta and a chicken biriani were delicious and well-priced. We ate breakfast at "Paul" the cafe on Gloucester Road which is charming and the best hot chocolate my son had ever experienced! The museums are 10 minutes walk (at most) and with the underground within sight of the hotel, we managed to do the Tower of London, the Natural History and Science Museums, the Lion King and Harrods as well as meeting friends for dinner and drinks. Will stay at the Crowne Plaza again next visit from Melbourne.
Great location and fabulous service!”
we booked a twin room and requested to add an additional bed, but when we checked in, we were offered a free upgrade to a bigger room without even having to ask! really appreciate the pro-activeness of the staff!
