We booked this hotel through AGODA, when we arrived they wanted to charge us more then what was asked on the AGODA website, we asked to cancel this booking cause we didn't want to pay the extra money which was quite alot, and told them we will look for a different hotel without backwards practises like this. Which they agreed on, after a few days they still charged our creditcard after telling us the booking was completely cancelled, this is just plain thievery stay away from these thieves.

Good location, about 10 minutes walk from Ben Thanh Market, Takashimaya shopping centre and Saigon Centre. Hotel located along main road, easy to identify. Grab taxi is relatively cheap and easy to book in HCMC. Reception and service staffs are polite, helpful and well mannered. Rooms are spacious, we booked two rooms with queen bed. Bed is comfortable, aircon is cold, bathroom is big and clean. Restaurant service staff, Thinh, Vy & Huy, are also very service-oriented. They understand English and are able to communicate well with the foreign customers. The lady in green at the reception always has a stern face, I believe she would look prettier if she smile more :). We asked for late check-out of 30 minutes as we were afraid the traffic to & fro market in Chinatown may delay the check-out time. Counter staff told us that we would have to pay 30% of the room charge for late check out! Fortunately, we were able to rush back in time. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel, definitely will come back again. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work!
Stayed 5 nights at Dai Nam Boutique Hotel in June 2025 and had a wonderful experience. We arrived around 2 AM, and despite the late hour, we were warmly greeted by the front desk and bellman (wish we caught their names!). Their friendly welcome really set the tone for our stay. Throughout our visit, every staff member we interacted with was cheerful, courteous, and eager to help. A special shoutout to the breakfast team—Thinh, Huy, and Vy—who made our mornings extra pleasant with their attentive service. The hotel’s location in District 1 is excellent: centrally placed with easy access to popular attractions, restaurants, and cafes—all within walking distance. Our room was clean, cozy, and spacious enough for two people sharing a twin setup. Contrary to a few mixed reviews we read beforehand, we found the room very comfortable and well-kept. Overall, Dai Nam Boutique Hotel offers great value for money. With its convenient location, warm hospitality, solid breakfast, and clean rooms, it’s definitely a stay we’d recommend.

“Good location, unrespectful staff.”
Hotel was nice and has a good location. HUGE complaint about the staff tho. We had an issue with a hairdryer at night, called staff and they went upstairs to give us a new one. When I opened the door the guy immediately marched inside our room with his shoes on without asking for permission and my gf just came out of the shower!!! Disgusting unrespectful behaviour. Teach your staff some basic manners. No one should walk inside a hotel room with guests (I didn’t ask him to nor did I give him permission).
