Het hotel is perfect gelegen: direct aan het Hyde Park en alle shopping areas. De kamer was niet groot, maar heel comfortabel en schoon. Eindelijk eens een goede airco die amper geluid maakt. En het bed was heerlijk.

design hotel met schone, nette kamers. voorzien van waterkoker, koffie, thee, kluis, föhn en strijkplank met bout. uitstekende lokatie, naast marble arch. op de kamers geen gratis wifi, maar tegen hoge prijzen. kamer 7115 heeft vervelende brom van airco of iets dergelijks.

maandag aankomst, avond/nacht niet geslapen, kamer op tweede etage vlak boven lawaaischoppende hotel disco. dinsdag verzoek andere kamer, nieuwe kamer vierde etage, aankomst in nieuwe kamer 16.00 uur s'middags. bagage netjes verhuisd maar toilet was verstopt en maintenance duurde een uur voor probleem was opgelost.daarna schoonmaaksters actief.18.00 uur kamer geschikt voor gebruik. hotelstaf allervriendelijkst, beheersing engelse taal absoluut minimaal met uitzondering van concierges en doormen. prijs/kwaliteit verhouding ver beneden peil zelfs voor londense begrippen.
Geweldige locatie maar kleine kamers”
Wij verbleven in een kamer op de 6e verdieping. Op het dak (vermoedelijk)was er een motor van de koelinstalatie dag en nacht aan het draaien. Eerste nacht om 4u was mijn geduld op wegens de onmogelijkheid om te slapen door dat lawaai, en ging naar het onthaal... Ik kreeg een upgrade met de glimlach.

heerlijk weekend doorgebracht in london. het cumberland ligt centaal op de kruising oxford street park lane, schuin tegenover de marble arch. vanuit het hotels is alles goed aan te lopen en de metro halte van central line is naast het hotel. hotel ademt een dynamische sfeer, kamers niet groot maar van alle gemakken voorzien en recentelijk gerenoveerd. inchecken loopt wat chaotisch. mengeling van toeristen en zakenmensen.

Mooie enre, groot hotel, goed ligging (hyde park) met metro om de hoek) kamers schoon en compleet. Een paar uur langer de kamer houden (ook als hotel half leeg is) kost wel 50 euro.

Reception staff are rude and ill mannered. They do not know how to say sorry when necessary, they sigh and groan when you are checking in or asking something. No smile ever. We, as guests, seem to owe them a living. The entire hotel has a foul smell, beds are so soft you sink in, complimentary breakfast was the worst ever (grab bag), rooms need to be fixed (aircon not working in 2 different rooms - had to change rooms), fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and there was no clear explanation on why we were forced to evacuate. This is an old building, they previously owned the building beside which is now Hard Rock. This hotel ruined the last leg of my holiday. Thank goodness it was only for 3 days. Only saving grace was during checkout, a receptionist from Hard Rock Hotel was manning the counters and he maintained professionalism.

I must say that the hotel service staff were excellent and Wendy t beyond our expectations. The front desk and reception manned by Milda & Niksan were both friendly and thoughtful. Knowing that my partner and I landed early at 6am in London, they expedited our check-in and gave us a Fantasic Room, upon knowing that it’s our pre-Honey Moon Holiday. In the end we didn’t have to wait till 3pm for check-in, which would have been dreadful and awfully tired for us. I must commend them on their thoughtfulness also in giving us a quiet room as I am a light sleeper. In addition, the Cumberland has an ideal location, right next to the Marble Arch Tube station and lots of shops near by. I would highly recommend the Cumberland and it’s staff for thief excellence. Keep up the good work!

Have stayed here the 3rd time, kind of expensive for the size of the room. But was lucky to be upgraded to the new building in the executive wing, its a separate building from the main reception area. Was very pleased with the executive rooms, very spacious & as it a building for all executive rooms only, it is not as busy as the main building. Overall, very pleased with the hotel & it's location, will return again. Thanks

The worst hotel ever visited. The duvet cover very dirty. Asked three times to see a hotel manager but no it did not happen. Staff answering the phone were terrible. One lady's attitude was when I explained my problems "I don't have to put up with this". Very Bad. Needless to say will not be returning and would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed here everytime i visit London. Liked the location a lot. Stayed @ the new building this round, seems like its newly renovated & only executive rooms. Felt secure as need the room card to enter the building. Will return

Strategic location, clean hotel but I need to change my room due to dysfunction bath facility. Good food for breakfast but its the same menu everyday without any changes. Should allocate one for Halal food section. Overall its nice but if you have a smoking room, it would be better.

Stayed int his hotel several times, mainly for business, this time with my 13yr old son as a stop over before flying to Jamaica the following morning. Travelled down from Edinburgh by train, then the tube to Marble Arch. Location is great, 2 minutes walk to Hyde Park and 2 minutes to Oxford Street. Probably stayed at this hotel 5 or 6 times over the last 5 years, definitely one of my favourite hotels in central London.

The hotel is at Hyde park. The rooms though small have all the amenities. Iron shelf operation though is little difficult. Breakfast spread is good but same menu everyday. Huge hotel but highly efficient. Would stay again.

It was a great stay at The Cumberland Hotel, Marble Arch; its location is really fantastic, the staff were very good ; the beauty of the hotel is that it is on the begging of The Oxford street very near to the Edgward road which are the most popular roads in London; I will stay in the Cumberland hotel again and again; and I do encourage people visiting London to stay in this hotel.

The location is good. Close to train and the bus to bi ester outlet can be book form hotel and pick us on from of hotel. Short walk to chord street and primary is just 3min walk. There is a super nice breakfast near the hotel name daisy green.

All about the location for shopping!”
I know London well so it was a perfect choice for us. Rooms were small, which was ok considering the price but the bathrooms could do with a bit of a tidy up. Limited space in the bathroom. No plug sockets by the bed either. It's an ideal 'stop over' or 'weekend' hotel. Perfect to hit the sales and you can pop back and drop your bag off to the porter and back out again ;)
Perfect location, no luggage storage facility”
We were headed to paris for a couple of days and asked to deposit our luggages as we will be returning to Cumberland but was informed they have no luggage storage facility after their renovation. If we need to store luggage, they will bring it to an external company and we were quoted 40pounds for a large cargo bag, and another 20pounds for a small cabin sized bag for a duration of 3 days. Had we known about this, we obviously would not have chosen this hotel. On a brighter note though, everything else was great. Room was clean, water, coffee and tea was well-stocked and replenished daily. Staff were friendly. There was tight security in the night (asked to scan our keycards before entering lift) which was great to know.
The location is perfect - the hotel is within the shopping area and within 2 minutes walk to Marble Arch station. Hotel staff was very helpful, even willing to bring our luggage with us to the car rental shop
