We had a lovely overnight stay at Hotel Country Villa and thoroughly enjoyed the room, stunning bathroom and dining facilities. The entire property was beautiful, but stairs everywhere. Could be an issue for less mobile people. Staff all very friendly. We had the best hot stone massage by Jitalang Rai. He was amazing, very professional and with a kind manner. I would thoroughly recommend him, and worth the trip there just to experience his massage skills. All in all a very memorable stay.

Great Room and Service”
Even though we were totally disappointed in missing the view of Nagarkot due to the intense fog, we had one of the most relaxing and romantic time as a couple as the room was great with full length window views by the jacuzzi. Bed were luxurious and comfy with fluffy duvets. TV was latest with Netflix available. Everything was a thumbs up including the service staff at the restaurant. Will definitely recommend for Honeymooners or singles who just want to be away from the busy city life.

Amazing view of Himalayas ”
Amazing location with fascinating view of the Himalayas. We could see it from our room. Every corner of the hotel has a view. No need to go anywhere else. Just one drawback is that its far from the market and you wont get a cab or ride to there; its always 20/25min walk but the walk was good too.

Place is Amazing. Rooms were clean and staff were helpful. And last but not the least views were breath taking.

Booked for the view, but impressed by everything else”
What a lovely place. The views are, of course, spectacular, but even so the hotel has done well to maximise them and utilise the space well. We had about a 3-hr breakfast out on the terrace just gawping at the mountains. Everything else was top-notch though: the food, the rooms, the staff, the showers. Highly recommended.

The view from my deluxe room was outstanding. The hospitality was awesome. Food was really good, breakfast was superb with stunning mountain view. Walk around is also very good. A must visit place.

Priced high but the best views you’ll ever have fantastic Hotel. Outstanding restaurant, outstanding staff. Bathroom has an odor sometimes but they all do in Asia.

Excellent location, beautiful property”
The location is excellent and property is beautiful amd very well maintained. Staff is very friendly and cordial. I had a few minor issues with cleanliness but overall it was good. The food was very tatsty but the portions were very small compared to the price. Our food bill for 1 night was 9000 NPR for 4 ppl .

Brilliant property, isolated place”
Pros: Fantastic propert, brilliant staffs, all perfect, hot water service was great Cons: Isolated place, nothing to do more there unless enjoying. Food needs to be up and added more options. As it is chilling top on mountain, it needs to seal all the windows to stop leaking the chilled air.

Living here in Kathmandu, so this is a perfect quick getaway out of the city with the advantage of great views, cosy and warm room, friendly attentive staff and good value.

Plenty of friendly staff. They are eager to help and make things good for you. My only dissatisfaction is that they charged excessively for ride to the airport. Didn't tell earlier how much they would charge. Also they booked a flight which they charged listed price, whereas tour agency gives a discount.

It was very cold in the room and no heat in bathroom They were building a sunroof on the top of my room so very, very noisy. When I ask to change they offered a regular room and I had a deluxe room So I was desapointed that they did not consider that when they gave me that room.

Pros. Comfortable room with a great view. Would have been better without the clouds blocking the view of the Himalayas, but some things you can't control. Pretty good food and a pleasant staff. Cons: The road to get here is in bad shape. 90 minutes to go 28 km.

Small room but has a great view”
The room for 4 people is very small that it only fits with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The ceiling is quite low. Apart from that, the hotel is located in a great location in which you can see the mountain from your room and fog every morning and twilight.
