At least, amazing if you want to experience the loud and crowdy Tokyo. Amazing views from the room, loved it. Everyday new towels, tooth brushes and water even if you don’t ask for roomservice they will hang it on the door. For me the bed was too hard, that was the only minus. Had to pile up pillows to sleep on
+Nice room, amazing view (21st floor). Bottles of drinking water, pajamas and bathroom necessities replaced daily. Housekeeping responded adequate to requests for cleaning. Helpful staff regarding coin laundry. - Faulty window blinds not handled great All in all we had a comfortable stay in a reasonable sized room (for Tokyo standards)
Goed hotel, locatie is goed en dichtbij treinstation. Kamers zijn redelijk klein.
Leuk hotel in het midden van Shinjuku! Alleen wel jammer dat het terras gesloten is.
Was goed
Een vrij nieuw hotel met de voor Tokyo gebruikelijke kleine maar zeer nette kamers, gelegen in een geweldig deel van Tokyo, de wijk Shinjuku.
It’s the Godzilla hotel so if you are a fan definitely come here. Plus very clean hotel and friendly staff. You even get a pocket phone to use if you stay there with 4G. So thats really handy when you don’t have internet outside.
The location of the hotel is very convenient. You can take the limousine airport bus from arrival terminal to the hotel. It takes around 35 minutes and walk for 5-10 minutes to hotel. If you are the one who love exploring the nightlife, this place is vey convenient to hang out and then just 3-5 minutes walk and rest at the hotel. It is surrounded by restaurants ,coffee shops , bars , amusement places in Kabukicho area. There are lawson 1 min from hotel and 7-11 at the ground floor of the hotel building. As hotel is located on the 8th floor of the building and so on,so it has already excluded you from the noise of bars and clubs during the night time. Staffs are friendly and good English speakers. You can also rent some amenities to use in the room until the check out date. I rent the straightener as mine can not be used due to the different type of adapter. The room is very clean even the size is a bit small but still can place my 1 BIG luggage on the floor. The restroom still be my impression as same as other hotel under WHG that I had ever been. The size is quite big with well separated zone of wet and dry as well as the big bath tub and shower zone with a high flow of water that make you relax whenever you bath. Normally, staff said that they will just clean your room every 3 days in a roll for the green policy but if you want them to clean or make your bed new before that you just put the sign at the door which is very convenient. There is a vending machine for drinks and ice maker machine that open 24hr on the floor you stay (ice is free) In overall, it is value for money and I love to stay again if I visit Shinjuku.
Thank you for sharing your experience at our hotel in Shinjuku. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the convenient location and found our staff friendly and accommodating. It's wonderful to know that our amenities met your needs and that you appreciated the cleanliness of your room and the comfort of the restroom facilities. We strive to provide a pleasant experience for all our guests and your feedback is invaluable. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit!
I recently stayed at **Hotel Gracery Shinjuku** and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my Tokyo trip. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Kabukicho, surrounded by endless dining, shopping, and entertainment options, and just a short walk to Shinjuku Station for easy access across the city. The rooms are compact, which is typical for Tokyo, but they’re cleverly designed to maximize space and comfort. Everything felt spotless and modern, with thoughtful amenities like a mini-fridge, kettle, and reliable Wi-Fi. I especially loved the city views from my window, and of course, the quirky touch of the **Godzilla head** on the hotel terrace. It’s such a fun feature you can even get up close for photos, making the stay feel uniquely Tokyo. Dining was convenient, with a café and Italian restaurant on-site, plus a breakfast buffet offering both Japanese and Western options. Practical extras like coin-operated laundry machines and a ladies-only floor added to the sense of comfort and security. What stood out most was the balance between efficiency and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was impeccably clean, and the Godzilla theme gave it a playful charm that made it more than just a place to sleep. Overall, I’d highly recommend Hotel Gracery Shinjuku to anyone visiting Tokyo. Yes, the rooms are small and there’s no gym or spa, but the location, service, and unique character more than make up for it. If you want to be in the middle of the action while enjoying a memorable stay, this hotel is a fantastic choice.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our hotel! We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our prime location, the unique Godzilla features, and our comfortable accommodations. Your kind words about our staff and amenities mean a lot to us. We strive to create a memorable stay for our guests, and it’s wonderful to know we succeeded in making your trip to Tokyo special. We hope to welcome you back on your next visit! Best regards,
The room is comfortable but luggages need to be zipped up in order to make space to move around the room. Very nice view of Shinjuku area from our room. One convenience store just below the hotel and the other just across the hotel. There are pharmacies just a short walk away and plenty of restaurants around the hotel
Arrived in the evening, greeted warmly by an Indian check in agent, he is friendly and assist us to complete the whole check in process. Place is convenient, downstairs have many options of food and beverages to choose from, easily accessible from Shinjuku train station. Unless if the crowd in the area bothers you, then this is not the place for you. Amenities are good. Laundromat available. Many machines, tho at times you need to find a good time to do your laundry as many people do their laundry. Microwave is provided too. There’s a public toilet in the lobby for hotel guests. For female toilet, they are clean. My husband shared that the male toilet is not that clean, might as well go back to your hotel room if cleanliness is your criteria. Cleanliness in the room and lobby is tip top. They have to clean your room every 3 day once through out your stay. They provide clean towel and replenish water everyday without fail. Space wise, it is sufficient for my 9 days stay with 2x 28” luggage and 1x hand carry, depending on how you arrange your placement. Toilet is spacious. With the price that I’ve got, is relatively worth it compared to to the neighbouring hotel for my stay period.
I recently stayed at Gracery Shinjuku, and I have to say, it was an incredibly convenient experience. Located right in the heart of Shinjuku, it’s perfect for anyone who wants to explore Tokyo with ease. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel is in the ideal spot, close to shops, restaurants, and the Shinjuku Station, which makes getting around the city a breeze. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The highlight for me was definitely the convenience—everything you need is right at your doorstep. Plus, the iconic Godzilla head on the rooftop is a fun touch! I would definitely recommend Gracery Shinjuku to friends and family looking to stay in this vibrant area of Tokyo. It’s affordable, comfortable, and perfect for those wanting to make the most out of their time in the city. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku! We are thrilled to hear that you found our location convenient and enjoyed the comfort of our rooms, as well as the friendly service from our staff. We appreciate your recommendation and hope you had a fantastic time exploring Tokyo. If you have any more feedback or need assistance for your next stay, please don't hesitate to reach out. Best regards,
The hotel is kind of in the heart of Shinjuku and clean but that's about it. The room is way too small even for Japanese standard. Our medium size suit case could not be opened fully inside the room. TV only have a few channels which are Japanese or Chinese. No You tube app or Netflix. Power points are not universal so you will have to buy one or bring one with you. The hotel is quite a distance from Limousine Bus or Train (Shinjuku station), if you have a few bulky luggage, then better catch a taxi . Accessing the Hotel, you have to catch a lift to one level and then another lift to the hotel reception so quite inconvenient. The Godzilla was cordoned off when we were there so we didn't get to see anything. The other props are ordinary. Everything around the hotel is either very expensive or dirty. I know it is a redlight district but still, there is not much to do around here unless you are into Shows which are way overpriced. We certainly would not stay here or in the area again. We would stay a bit further out and catch the train in.
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is a great mid-range option for travelers looking to stay in the heart of Tokyo. The English-speaking staff are polite, efficient, and accommodating, and the hotel offers a wide range of services that cover everything you might need during your stay. The atmosphere is charming and memorable, especially thanks to the signature Godzilla-themed decorations that add a fun, iconic touch to the experience. The rooms are compact—as is typical in Tokyo—but still comfortable, provided you’re not traveling with bulky luggage. Located in Kabukicho, the hotel is ideal for those who enjoy nightlife, with countless bars and restaurants just a five-minute walk away. And with Shinjuku Station also nearby, getting around the city is incredibly convenient, whether you’re heading to tourist spots or exploring lesser-known areas. Overall I highly recommend it, especially to couples and those traveling to Tokyo for the first time.
Overall this place met what we expected. It wasn't a 5 diamond hotel but it get pretty much 5 stars. The staff we encountered was very friendly and accommodated English speakers well, which was important as we.didnt speak Japanese well. The room size is typical to what Japan has to offer. Believe it or not, the bathroom was a good size compared to others. It does show a little age but overall, no smell and clean. The only thing for us is the bed was firmer than we liked but still fine for us. So if you need a soft bed, maybe call them and see if they have a topper they can put on. 7/11 is literally in the building on the first floor, nice! One side.of the building is like a designated (get to drunk and such and laydown on the street.) We noticed Police standing by them to keep them in check? Burnbeaudes that everything else seems very safe. Very central location, so expect a lot of people and have fun.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that our staff's friendliness and their ability to accommodate English speakers contributed positively to your stay. We greatly appreciate your feedback and look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back again soon!
Very small room with a queen size bed, a bit hard to arrange space when open two 25" luggages. But it is a compact and very clean room. As we arrived Tokyo in the morning, we requested to check in early at 11am with the extra fee of 4400 yens by signing up their membership. Perfect location, recommend.
We stay separately for 1 night in standard double room before going to Nozawa and then we returned and upgraded to twin room for 4 nights. The standard double room is acceptable for a short stay of 1-2 nights with a maximum of 2 luggage. The twin room is pricey but roomier and liveable. Our twin room has a small window at your chest level and above. We are surprised both rooms have a good size sit down area (like onsen) for shower with strong water pressure and both come with a good size bathtub where u can straighten your legs. Facilities are adequate, clean and well kept. Godzilla is still closed but doesn’t make a difference to our stay. It is a short walk from the Shinjuku station, manageable even with luggage. Taxi is ready and available at the entrance.
The location is excellent, conveniently situated near a variety of restaurants and cafés, and just a short walk from the nearest metro station. The room was exceptionally clean,. However, I found the room size to be uncomfortably small, even by Japanese standards. One particular issue was the extremely narrow window. Although the view outside was beautiful, the limited size of the window made the room feel quite claustrophobic. It is difficult to understand why such a small window design was chosen, especially given the otherwise impressive surroundings. I stayed for only one night, and I was ultimately relieved that it was a short stay. Despite traveling alone and carrying only a backpack, I still found the space far too constrained to be comfortable.
The staff are wonderful, especially the housekeeping crew that have to deal with SO much junk and rubbish left by shop-happy hotel guests. There's no fault there at all. Furthermore, for what you pay, it's pretty reasonable value. Also the whole Godzilla theme is excellent – as a huge Godzilla fan when I was growing up, I genuinely enjoyed this aspect! However my gripe with the hotel is twofold: One, the rooms are TINY. I understand space is at a premium in Tokyo, but we're talking broom closet size.. Then there's the location – the heart of Shinjuku which I should have researched further. It's like staying on skid row.. If you're older, or you have kids, this is NOT the hotel to stay at. You'll set food outside and be greeted by vomiting drunks, teenagers getting rowdy, music blasting on every corner, ladies of the night and other questionable characters hanging around everywhere. The mayhem goes on til early hours. And the whole neighborhood smells like a bad hangover the next day. Furthermore, it's not really even that close to public transportation. So while this is great for a night or two, any longer and I suggest you keep looking.
Despite the room a bit small, its always clean. Water is refilled every day by the staff. Location is convenient and youll never get hungry. Staff always helpful. I only have one complaint, the dryer in the laundry room is a bit useless. Youd be better off hanging it in your room. All in all always a good choice to go to.
Hotel walking distance from shinjuku main station. Airport limousine bus from Narita airportstops directly outside Tokyu Kabukicho Tower which is directly opposite hotel. Friendly front counter staff and allow early check-in and late check-out. Room is extremely small, but at least the amenities are clean. All the convenience stores and 24hrs shops are right there, great for late night shopping and dining.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our hotel. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the convenient location and our friendly staff service. We appreciate your understanding regarding the room size and are glad you found the amenities clean and satisfactory. We hope to welcome you back for another stay in the future. Best regards,
We stayed 3 nights there. The hotel itself is very clean, modern and well ran. The physical location is actually about 13 mins walk from Shinjuku station, provided that you do not lose your way. In between ( that’s we who kept losing our way inside the station endlessly ) . The area is very happening. More suitable for groups of adult family, couple or group of friends. A bit seedy and the streets are not v clean. Having said that, it’s a very happening area. We stayed for 3 nights, saw live performances of singing, Hugh groups of ppl queueing.. and etc etc. one of its kind of experience. A lot more interesting than staying elsewhere.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Our room was small but it’s to be expected. Although it was small, the room was set up very efficiently to maximize its space. No complaints whatsoever and we really recommend it! Would 100% stay here again.
We stayed here for the 8-9 days that we were in Tokyo. Location is great and easy access to train. It is in the red light district so you’ll have a lot of people in the streets and lots of trash at night and in the morning. There are locals that clean it up everyday so it’s not dirty. We stayed in the double room for two, and it is small. We’ve stayed at hotels with similar sized rooms so it wasn’t anything new. The shower is great though! Everyone rushes to do their laundry so you’ll have to wait a while to dry. The dryer for mine wasn’t working after 3 tries to fix, so I had housekeeping do my laundry. Friendly staff and clean hotel.
Pros: Excellent location right in the heart of Shinjuku. Rooms are clean, spacious, and overall very comfortable. The Godzilla Head adds a unique and memorable touch. Staff were polite, attentive, and helpful throughout the stay. Cons: Some furniture has small gaps where items like documents can slip through. One of ours fell inside, and we had to call maintenance to retrieve it. The main Godzilla Head viewing area was closed during our stay. Security is quite strict, likely because the location and attraction draw non-hotel visitors. Be prepared to carry your room key card at all times, as you will need it to access the lift and can only go to your assigned floor.
From the moment we arrived at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, we knew we had chosen the perfect spot for our honeymoon. The hotel’s welcoming ambiance offered a delightful escape in the bustling heart of Tokyo. Location: Hotel Gracery Shinjuku boasts an unbeatable location right in the vibrant Shinjuku district. While the famous Godzilla head terrace was unfortunately closed during our visit, the hotel still exuded a unique charm with fun Godzilla-themed touches throughout. It’s a fantastic base for exploring the city, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions just a short walk away. Room: Our room was compact, which was expected based on our booking, but it exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and tranquility. Surprisingly quiet for a nightlife hub, it provided the ideal setting for restful nights after our busy days of sightseeing. Service: The staff at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku were exceptional and truly enhanced our stay. They ensured our room was refreshed every 3–4 days, and even if we opted out of housekeeping, they would thoughtfully hang fresh towels and toiletries on our door. Their attention to detail—like refilling our daily supply of water—was impressive and made us feel well cared for. Dining: While the breakfast selection was somewhat limited for the price, it was sufficient if you prefer a quick start to your day. If you’re adventurous, we recommend exploring nearby cafés for a more varied breakfast experience. Amenities: Though we were disappointed that the Godzilla head terrace was closed, the hotel offered other enjoyable amenities that added to the overall experience. Overall Experience: Our stay at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku was truly memorable, and we can’t recommend it enough for couples seeking a romantic getaway. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!
Basically it would be a nice standard hotel, with ok services and staff, daily making up of the room (if you want), well sized bathroom with comfortable shower. That’s about it. We didn’t try the breakfast cause there are so many options in the city that it felt not worth it. Now the huge issue: how small the room was. Seriously there’s no space to open 1 medium checked suitcase imagine 2! The bed of course can’t be different, it was a small double, so be aware if you’re 2 people and one is a big person in any way tall or large or whatever, it will be hard to sleep comfortably! The only upside was that being the room so small the aircon was refreshing almost instantly, although be careful because it had a very high drying effect, I noticed it on my eyes in the next days. This said, location, bar, were very good, and we didn’t have any other issue.
Amazing location ! First night stayed in standard double was a bit small but it’s ok, has everything you need. Love the shower & bathtub combination. But there was some hair on the bed I cleaned it out myself. The bed and pillows comfy , peaceful sleep. Stayed also few days in triple room, great space and room amenities. But was city facing and noisy , sleep was not great. If you’re staying here don’t face the city. Bathroom was also not as clean, was smelling a bit and no cleaning staff late evening to clean . Not sure if I’ll stay again
Exceptionally convenient location in Shinjuku. Initially hard to find the entrance (it’s at ground level around the back of the Godzilla head 😊). Very close to everything and easy to travel to other areas of Tokyo. Friendly staff, room not too small, great shower! Comfy bed, clean, very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful cocktail bar with views of the Godzilla. Easy to get a taxi from reception - it was waiting outside for us at the time we asked. We loved it!
The standard room was compact, as expected in Tokyo, but it was more than enough for a couple and still had sufficient space to comfortably open our luggages. The location is right in the heart of Shinjuku and just a short walk to Golden Gai. There are countless shops, restaurants, and bars surrounding the hotel. The nearest train station is only about a 5-minute walk away, which made getting around Tokyo very easy. Overall, it’s a perfect base for exploring the city, especially if you enjoy being close to the action.
I recently stayed at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku for five nights and had a truly wonderful experience. During my stay, I needed extra assistance with my luggage, and the hotel staff were very helpful, they suggested I purchase a suitably sized box to ship out some items that couldn’t fit into my luggage, saving me the need to buy an additional suitcase. I also discovered that there is a convenient direct bus service to the airport from the hotel; it would be even better if information about this service could be made more readily available to guests. Aside from that, the spaciousness of the room, the excellent location, and the overall cleanliness were all very satisfying. Overall, it was an exceptional stay, and I definitely plan to return in the future.
My recent stay at Hotel Gracery Tokyo was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the courteous staff, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. The hotel's location is unparalleled, nestled in the heart of bustling Tokyo, with convenient access to major attractions and transportation hubs. Whether I wanted to explore the vibrant streets of Shinjuku or indulge in world-class shopping, everything was just a stone's throw away. Upon entering my room, I was immediately struck by its immaculate cleanliness and modern design. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the plush bedding to the state-of-the-art amenities. The breathtaking views of the city skyline added an extra layer of magic to my stay. One highlight of my time at Hotel Gracery Tokyo was dining at their exquisite restaurants. The culinary offerings were diverse and delectable, satisfying even the most discerning palate. From authentic Japanese cuisine to international delights, each dish was a masterpiece in its own right. Moreover, the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction was truly commendable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my every need was met promptly and with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made me feel valued and cared for throughout my stay. In addition to its luxurious accommodations and top-notch service, Hotel Gracery Tokyo boasts impressive facilities, including a refreshing pool and a well-equipped fitness center. These amenities provided the perfect opportunity to unwind and recharge after a day of exploration. In conclusion, my experience at Hotel Gracery Tokyo surpassed all expectations and left me longing to return. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel is the epitome of luxury and comfort in the heart of Tokyo. I cannot recommend it highly enough! Thank you, Hotel Gracery Tokyo, for an unforgettable stay. I eagerly anticipate my next visit!
We recently stayed at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku for 6 nights and had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The check-in and check out process was quick and easy. The room was spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed – a comfortable bed and Wi-Fi. The hotel’s location is perfect – just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Overall, We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo.

The hotel was located right in the middle of the Shinjuku action — you won’t run out of places to visit even late at night. Given this, the surrounding area can get pretty busy and crowded. The nearest station is also a bit of a walk especially in the summer. Very clean rooms, but had to do some furniture rearrangement to be able to lay down two suitcases. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, so we weren’t able to fully enjoy the facilities they had to offer.
Excellent location. 7-11 convenience store is just at first floor of the building. Heaps of restaurants and food shops within 1 minute of hotel. Room was clean, and the staff are incredibly helpful in helping us sort out Agoda’s mess. Because of the stuff up of Agoda, room given to us was small, 18 sqm, instead of the 32 sqm we reserved (and confirmed by Agoda!) months before. Overall, my score for hotel is excellent. As for Agoda, a big thumb down. Book your trips elsewhere.
Stayed at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku and absolutely loved it! The location is superb, right in the heart of Shinjuku, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and the famous Godzilla head watching over you. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given the busy area. Just a small tip: be cautious when walking around late at night since there can be a few drunk people on the streets. Otherwise, it’s an excellent place to stay and I’d definitely come back!
Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback about your recent stay at our Hotel. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our prime location and the comfort of your room. Your suggestion regarding late-night strolls is appreciated as it helps us enhance the guest experience. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future!
Pros Hotel is in a great location in central Shinjuku, surrounded by bars, restaurants and shopping. Check In was fast and efficient. All Staff Members were super friendly and polite. We booked a twin room with access. Hotel itself is clean and modern. Cons The lounge access area on 8th Floor to Godzilla head was closed to all guests. The guest bedrooms are a little small and could do with being modernised to match the rest of the hotel. So they were the only two small things we didn’t like. Overall we had a fun stay at this hotel, and we would probably stay again if we came back to Tokyo as it’s central and easy to get to all the Tourist Attractions from it as metro is only a few mins away.
The hotel is definitely on the touristy side but it’s a fun place to stay. The hotel is spotless and the room layout is decent. I’ve seen complaints on the size of the lower floors and it’s because you get such a nice bathroom. I didn’t mind it at all. The location is right dead center of a lot of activity at night. Whether or not that is your scene, is going to be personal preference. There are a ton of bars and restaurants. You’re a few blocks from Golden Gai, Omoide Yokocho and the Shinjuku Station. It will be very busy outside, but safe. I saw all kinds of people walking around with no problem. The lobby has some really cool Godzilla merch and there is a display after the elevators. Along with a very nice bar that also does printing of Godzilla images onto your drinks. I never got a chance to use the washing machines because whenever I stepped in, they were all in use. And that’s true of any large hotel. So plan accordingly. Or visit a laundromat. I love that the room key just takes you right to your floor. You don’t necessary need to remember your room floor when you’ve arrived dead tired. A few blocks north is a really nice post office. So if you want to send some post cards or ship souvenirs home it’s convenient. Just walk straight out of the main entrance and head up the street directly in front. I would recommend spending at least a part of your stay here since it’s definitely an experience. Inside and out.
Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate the insights you provided regarding the amenities, location, and the overall experience! We're looking forward to welcome you again!
This was a great spot for our one night in Tokyo, because it’s located right in the heart of shopping and restaurants of Shinjuku, it’s also a short walk from the Shinjuku station and golden gai area. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful in storing our luggage until our late flight the next day. The room was standard size for Tokyo, but had an awesome bathroom with deep tub and shower next to each other. Would recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased to hear that our hotel was convenient for your shopping and dining needs, and it is wonderful to know that the hotel staff provided excellent service, particularly in assisting with your luggage until your flight. We appreciate your recommendation and we look forward to welcoming you again.
First time in Tokyo, really couldn't have asked for much more, room was the size we expected, not really enough room to open both suitcases, but again, we had expected that, location was fantastic. Only real issue we had was the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, as were the pillows. But would stay here again, just would purchase our own pillows to use on the beds to be honest. Staff were lovely when checking in and really helpful, hotel was clean.
This property is perfectly located for shopping and exploring, with easy walkability to major attractions. The cleanliness is top-notch, ensuring a comfortable experience. While the room size might feel a bit cramped, the hot water and bathroom facilities were excellent, making up for it. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone looking to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city while having a cozy place to rest.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated our location, cleanliness, and bathroom facilities. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Best regards,
The hotel has a very good location, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, which made getting around very convenient. The bathroom was above average—clean, well-maintained, and more spacious than expected, with decent water pressure and good amenities, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the bed and pillows were below average. The mattress felt uncomfortable and lacked proper support, and the pillows were either too flat or too firm, making it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. This was the main downside of an otherwise decent stay. Overall, the hotel is suitable if location and bathroom quality matter most to you, but those who prioritize sleep comfort may want to consider this before booking.
Accomodation was located in a convenient place easily accessible by trains. Cleanliness of the hotel is good, but not so outside the hotel. The place is usually filled with rubbish and dirt left my night dwellers especially early in the morning when you leave the hotel. Customer care service can be improved such that front desk staff do not badger guests to pay for certain things when they are already prepared to. E.g I was getting my laundered clothes from the front desk, but they had mixed up my clothes with my friend's and were pestering us to pay up even though we were going to do so. Another incident was when we were upgrading our room and went for a room tour. Right after agreeing to upgrade to a bigger room, the staff was again badgering my freind to make the payment immediately even though our booking details were with me. Otherwise, the hotel stay was reasonably good.
Hotel was easy to find although the surroundings are very crowded (due to the Godzilla head and the location in general). It's walking distance to many shopping spots like Uniqlo, GU, Muji, and department stores. There's a lot of food spots that is easily walkable too like Ichiran and Gyokatsu Motomura so we didn't have to rush to go down and can just take the trip on our own pace. The room is small (we had trouble fitting 2 big luggages and 1 small one), but we made do and the bed is comfortable. The toilet especially the bath tub is big and spacious. Simple amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash were also provided. Overall a nice and recommended stay for anyone, especially first timers in Tokyo. Hopefully the next time we come back the Godzilla head will be open already for hotel guests though.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Tokyo, consider this hotel. Located just a short walk away from Shinjuku, the location is super convenient. Room’s amentities are excellent (you can even rent items like nail clippers, massage pillow etc) and clean, comfortable bed and stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall vibe of the hotel was amazing!
Overall, this was a great place to stay right in the heart of Shinjuku. Super easy to get around since you’re so close to several stations and the Shinkansen. It is a very busy area bc you are so centrally located. But it makes for a nice location to plan movements. The only slight downside was that our room was a little small. This comes with the territory of Tokyo. It was comfortable for us and the space was clean & nice. Just had some issues with larger suitcases. I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to freely explore Tokyo. The Godzilla decor was an added incentive. However, it was a little bit of a downer that the terrace with the Godzilla head was closed due to inappropriate tourist behavior.
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is located right in the heart of Kabukicho, with easy access to Shinjuku Station and just a short walk to the airport limousine bus stop — very convenient for travelers with big luggage. One of the highlights is the iconic Godzilla theme, which adds a fun and unique touch to the hotel experience. You can even see the giant Godzilla head from the terrace. The room was impressively spacious for Tokyo standards, clean, and well-designed. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to relax and recharge after a busy day in the city. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tokyo who values location, space, and a little bit of fun!
The location is perfect for shopping and exploring nearby attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the housekeeping team kept everything spotless throughout our stay. Facilities were well-maintained and comfortable, and although the room was a bit compact, it offered great value and a pleasant experience overall.
The Hotel Gracery Shinjuku is located in the very heart of Shinjuku and only a few minutes walk from Shinjuku Station. Although the room is a bit small, but the bathroom is quite large so that we can have a nice shower after a day’s spree. Room is clean and cleaning up was done efficiently. There are loads of eateries and shops malls nearby, as well as the ease to and from the Narita Airport. Overall a great stay!
Thank you for your feedback! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the central location and found the facilities to your satisfaction. Your comments regarding room cleanliness and nearby amenities are appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future!

Prima hotel. Kleine kamer, kleine bedden. In ieder geval te klein als je 180 m bent of langer. Super schoon en stil op de 20e verdieping.
