very best location and helpful staff clean room”
the room was clean . they allowed us to checkin earlier without any extra charges . room was big, bright and clean. bathroom was a bit small but comfort for shower and toilet. staff was hepful, they provide information about travelling around thamel .

First Time to Kathamandu”
Kathmandu Nomad Hotel is suitable hotel for foreigners. The location of Hotel center of Thamel, it's safe location and easy to access nearby attractions place and things to do. The owner of Hotel and staff are more friendly and they all able to speak English in well manner. The Nomad Hotel also have restaurant and the food really delicious and taste. The price also reasonable with the quality of food. Have a great trip to Kathamandu, Nepal

Would definitely recommend Nomad to all the travelers. Located right in the center of Thamel (gets noisy sometimes but can still sleep through it) Close to good restaurants and cheap mountain gear shopping. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They reply really fast to all the WhatsApp inquiries. Rooms are comfortable with loads of pillows and blankets, showers super hot. We haven’t tried the restaurant but there were always people eating there so must be pretty good to. We’ll stay there again on our next trip. Thank you!

The hotel is located in the middle of the Thamel market, access to market is very easy. There are variety of options available for foodies and Shoppers. Rooms are ok as per budget property.

You get what you pay for”
Not the nicest place in town but the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Half the outlets in my room didn’t work and the bathroom smelled kinda funny. If your on a budget and just need some sleep this isn’t a bad spot but for a few dollars more you can stay up the street and be much more comfortable

Central but noisy”
We stayed here for a couple of nights. Appreciated the early check in and the bed was comfy.. But it was extremely noisy at night with music blasting from some club nearby as well as the chinese hotpot place downstairs.

Basic Old budget hotel”
Location wise was good, located in the one of the section of Thamel. The hotel are pretty old. Room was spacious enough. However, the hot water supply was not steady, and even no water at all in the morning. And there are time where electricity was unstable too. But this seem to be for the Thamel area, not only for this specific hotel. The cafe was pretty good. The reception also good.

They don't have looks in the door and all of the bathrooms are under maintenance so you need to wait to use the bathroom

Worst Staff Encounter”
I had a worst encounter with one of their staff who followed me after I checked-out from their hotel. Then asked me where I was going. And I answered 'to the bus stop going to Pokhara' and he said he's going there too and we can walk together. Upon arriving at the bus stop, he was asking for a 10 US dollar-tip. I was shocked since the bus stop is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. I should have taken a taxi if I would just pay for that kind of amount. He scared me in some way. I didn't ask for his help in the first place.

After arriving at the hotel after a tiring journey with a confirmed and paid for booking it is downright immoral for you to not offer any refund but only to move your paid guest to an inferior and even more dumpy hotel. This seems to be something that happens on a regular basis based on reviews from other guests and you shouldn't be allowed to get away with this by advertising on Agoda who have strict standards. You have been warned. Book at your own peril.

I payed for one room, but arriving there they said that there was only the dormitory. The bathroom had problem and I had to use upstairs. No place to charge the phone.

Worst experience ever ”
They didn't offer any room even if the room was reserved earlier and confirmed. The staff was drunk and did not bother to even talk and just said that we are full and you can check another hotel in the area. Worst experience ever. Don't even think of booking this, and request to agoda to unlist it from their site.
