Begon met jacht op een kakkerlak. De kamer zag er al niet echt schoon uit, gezien we bedden aan de kant moesten zetten zag je hoe vies het daar achter was. Badkamer alleen oppervlakkig schoon de troep lag in de hoeken en gaten. Ontbijt heel summier
Zeer onvriendelijk ontvangst. Ontbijt sneetje brood met jam. Thee moest gevraagd worden. 4e etage de kamer, dus 8 trappen en geen lift. Zelf de koffers naar boven dragen. Geen vluchtwegen, tralies voor de ramen. Doorzichtige douchewand en geen gordijn voor de ramen. Overburen kijken de kamer in. Bij brand zit je op zolder als ratten in de val. London mag dan duur zijn maar deze prijs kwaliteit verhouding is absoluut een wanprestatie. Iedere keer chagrijnig teruggekeerd naar hotel. Heeft stempel gezet op ons verblijf, waar wij, moeder en dochters, zo naar uitkeken. Voelden ons zeker geen gasten.

We came in to our room, It felt ok, then we felt that the floor was craked at some places, they just hidden everything under the carpet. Breakfast was ok, loved the juice and crossoints. Then we came to a negative thing again. YOU have to wait like 5 minutes to flush the toilet, once you flashed, youll have to wait for the water tank to be full before you can flush the toilet. After reading some of the reviews, I was dreading staying there. Thought it would be a bit of a flea pit ! but was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff, the breakfast was just very basic, but for the price I thought was good. Will definitely stay there again

for what we paid we were very satisfied with the hotel... easy check in.. and it pleased us to get a ground floor room when carrying shopping bags this was an advantage... nice clean white sheets and quilts. and new bathroom... plus the heating was very warm.. had to open the windows on arrival!!
It is very nice location to get tube ( queensway). There are many restaurants there including supermarket. The room in hotel is fine. The bathroom is wet after showering and the fan is out of service. However, the reception is really nice.
Basic budget hotel”
Basic hotel (2 star) with very basic breakfast of bread (butter and jam), croissant, juice and coffee / tea. No lift but it was expected as the hotel building is victorian one. The hotel staff asked for a 5 pound deposit for getting the tv remote which was refunded during checkout. Comfortable beds and quiet neighbourhood offering good quality of sleep.

The location is superb nearby the Queensway station, walking distance, we stayed there for 3 days, just nice as we need a place to sleep after a long day wandering the city. The receptionist was ok too.

Room was ok, but located in the basement was slightly claustrophobic. Breakfast was not impressive, location is good, close to Bayswater Tube approx 2 street away, very close to hyde park so if you are looking to explore that area, this hotel would be perfect.
Great location is the only real advantage”
Great location, however the hotel is pretty shabby and would need some refurbrishment (like changing doors, or windows to make rooms more soundproof, fixing the leaking cealing in the dining room), also WI-Fi could work better and not only in common areas.

The only good thing about your hotel is the location. Breakfast is poor. You need to offer more variety as we have found in other locations in Britain as well as in France and Italy. The room we had was no where near as modernly appointed as the ones you promote. Most staff have a poor grasp of English and no idea of the city layout and directions or information regarding transport in or around London. We had to resort to the Concierge desk in the hotel opposite for clear information.
Hotel room heavily infected with bed bugs”
Beds in hotel room was a nest for bed bugs. In the morning we saw blood stains in the bed linning and after a few days the bites from bed bugs were all over our bodies. Contacted the hotel with the problem and send pictures but no response at all from the hotel. Hotel needs to be shut down and gassed for bed bugs before taking any hotel guests. Dont use this hotel even though its location is good.

Didn't feel safe in the room flimsy locks to doors. carpets were thread bare. Stairs were awful. only the man behind reception was cheerful. Breakfast was awful croissants toast and cornflakes only on offer. Tables were all so wobbly in the eating area that our drinks were constantly spilled. Rooms were not tidy. Hotel was boiling hot so hot we felt ill. Only went back to go to bed as their was no facilities to sit and have refreshments. More a hostel then hotel.
The hotel is completely dirty and the staff are not friendly. They gave us the firts night a room in the basement without light. By the window we saw a small room full of rubbish and completely dirty. The second day they moved to another room where we found 2 cockroaches and it wasn't clean. This hotel is a complete disaster.
Inconvenient for travellers with luggage. There is no elevator in the hotel premises therefore going up and down three floors was tiring. The staff at the reception were not professional and the room given was dirty!
Staff at reception were very kind and helpfull, specially in cases where the room was not cleaned properly, towels not changed or coffeecups not cleaned. I think that the management should take a closer look at the cleaning-staff. Also, a lift would be very usefull. We lived at the third floor and had to walk 79 steps up to our room. But all in all good value for your money.
Was stay here for 2 nights and i can't wait to check out. The hotel is very old and i got the room which the toilet is outside the room. Its crazy. Plus the room is at the top floor of the building and there is no lift going up. I brought 3big luggage and i need to bring it up by using stairs n no staff help me. Talking about the room, the bed was so uncomfort n i cant sleep well. I got a back pain when i wake up. Not recommended hotel. I really dissappointed.

Unpleasant. The staff was rude. Worst bathroom. Bathroom floor leaking to lower level. They do not inform customer about the problem. Simply came to customer room and raise their voice. We or him made the payment?

Room is tiny, can't believe hotel arrange us a room in the basement. Window open is a store room with lots of mess., mt sister's room was on 2nd floor, but no elevator . Price is good, but we might not come back to stay again.

Uncomfortable, the room was rediculously small, there were no curtains. The bathroom was filthy, cracked tiles, stained toilet. No cold water in the sink, no hot water in the shower. Hard uncomfortable small single beds. Photographic evidence will be submitted along with a complaint requesting a full refund. The breakfast was advertised as a "full continental" , which infact was toast, cornflakes, crossaints, and cheap tea or coffee. Advertised as "Newly refurbished" it was tired and smelt of cigarette smoke throughout. Would not recommend .
