Comfortabel hotel met goede bedden. De douche ophanging zou wat beter kunnen. ”
Ik zou voor een volgende keer weer hier boeken.
Great value for money”
Beautiful hotel, but on busy street. Pool area is stunning with great views. 10 minute walk to the metro to get to attractions.
Disappointed for the first time about this hotel”
Being a frequent and satisfied client of this hotel I was for the first time disappointed for the following reason. The last night of my stay I found the hotel without electricity. The very polite receptionist told me and to other clients to wait at the reception until 03.00 because there was a programmed maintenance by the electricity supply company. The electricity came back at 02.00 and we were able to sleep for 3 hours in order to catch our morning flight. The hotel must not carry out maiintenance during the night or not accept bookings during maintenance days,
Great value for money”
I enjoyed my stayed. Has beautiful roof too Bars and swimming pool. And my stay was breakfast included. Which was nice to wake up early to👍
Awful customer service ”
Pros - a very elegant hotel with great facilities Cons - rude staff, poorly advertised (you cannot use any of the facilities after check out, so don’t book if you’re hoping to use the pool after 12pm!), poor location.
Reception guy spoke excellent English and provided us with great information about places to eat locally that were excellent and great value for money. This was very useful as we late arrivals and restaurant was closed and we did not want just something to eat in the room
Nice older hotel, much improved from previous stay. Not close to plaka or anything of note. If tourist stay closer to Plaka
Great value. Great staff. ”
Stayed here a total of 6 days on trip to Greece. In the centre of 02 metro station(including straight line to airport as part of the Olympic Games requirement) , buses to connect to everywhere. Straight line to downtown. Great neighbourhood. Less dodgy than downtown and Syntagma Square. Safe area at night. Simple breakfast spread. Rooms are a little old, but good enough. Request for higher floors for great views of Athens, request for lower floors if you want more space to put your bags. Very recommended!
Very good hotel, bad experience though”
Booked into the hotel for the final two nights of our trip to Greece. The rooftop pool was a real drawcard as we were looking to relax prior to the pending long flights. We, and other couples (and their children) were unable to enjoy the pool area due obscene language and unacceptable drunken behaviour by a group of young males and females. The staff did nothing about it, other than continue to serve alcohol to them. I wrote to the manager expressing my disappointment in a constructive manner, however did not even receive a response. Very disappointing.
Good hotel, needs to update the menu (or the chef) and train receptionists a bit better.”
On our arrival everything went smoothly and the person at the check in was very polite and helpful. Our room was clean and bedding comfortable. Saying that, it needs a bit updating. You can see bathroom door, carpet and arm chairs were worn off. Also it was a bit noisy as we could hear the gentleman next door while he was on the phone and also every single person that was walking outside our room. We got room service a couple of times. People that brought the food were great, but cannot say the same for the food. Pasta Bolognese is not science! Breakfast was ok. Many chooses, nothing special. I found the lady cleaner to be the most polite of all along with the gentleman that checked us in. Sorry to say, the lady at the reception the second day was shocking! Someone to remind her that she is there to help customers not to distress them. There is parking underneath which is very convenient. Also great location, very close to shops, metro station etc.
Good value for money”
This is an inexpensive hotel and considering that, you get very good value for money. The rooms aren't fancy. In our case the wallpaper was fraying and there were some mould and limescale stains in the bathroom, but the reception is very professional, the linens clean, and the bar on the roof is amazing. Views of the whole of Athens! I would stay again. The only thing I do not recommend is the breakfast, as it is extraordinarily expensive for what you get. There are bakeries and cafes nearby where you can have breakfast instead.
The renewed area, the pool is beautiful but others as a 80's years hotels. Breakfast was terrible, cold eggs, no coffee, coffe machine was out of order, no hot waters for tee, spoon is missing, ...If i could pay for it 30euros ok, but for 100 and more....????? For me 3 points....

Very honest value for money”
I have stayed a lot of times to this hotel and i'll keep doing that because it has a constant quality to what it offers to the client. The rooms are clean and normal size.Breakfast is not great but acceptable.Very close to public means of transport and there is a parking at the bottom. It is a very honest choice with very polite personnel.
Centrally located,friendly personel,honest price”
I am usually staying to this hotel coming to Athens because it is in a very good place close to a lot of means of transport and metro. The hotel itsself is cleanwith very friendly personel.Rooms are normal for the category .The room is well equipped but there is no mini bar in it.Generally it is an honest choice and i would choose the hotel again.
Comfy, clean, good location”
Everything was great. The only minus we could find, was the internet (not free as one could expect from a 4-star hotel, but against a fee). This hotel is located in a safe area, close to public transport, offers many facilities and provides a wonderful, rich breakfast.
Good value for money and good location.”
the location is quite far from the city center but just 10 minutes far by walk from the metro station. everything is good but the car park which is a bit expensive (10€ per day) and the internet connection which is not complimentary but it costs 4€ per hour or 15€ per 24 hours. we expected a free internet connection in a 4* hotel.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
My girlfriend & i stayed here two tonight's, one before our contiki trip & one after. Both nights were great. Our room was standard Double but still comfortable. Hotels got great views, especially on the roof top, where theres alot a pool, bar & restaurant. If ever in Athens will deff stay there again & recommend to our friends.
Nice hotel a little out of town”
Stayed in this hotel for one night due to joining a tour group from the same hotel the following day. I wouldn't normally book a hotel this far from the city center as always prefer to be walking distance to a city & its attractions. The hotel was very nice, rooms were a good standard & quite large & hotel facilities were good with an exceptional rooftop bar & pool. Transport to the city wasn't too bad, a 5 minute walk to train station or 5 euro taxi to city center.
Not worthy of the price or it’s rating”
I’ve stayed at the President a few times over the years but feel it is overpriced. The rooms are very old, in desperate need of refurbishment and the bathroom was so dark, only one light above the mirror meaning you struggle seeing whilst showering. The whole bathroom needs modernising. No tea making facilities although I was brought a kettle after asking but was too much to think about bringing a cup!! Was told to call reception again! I think it’s a very poor. 4 star hotel.
