Conclusie prima hotel
Very big rooms”
As the name suggests, all rooms are suites comprising of living room, kitchenette, bedroom and balcony. Very spacious. Great poster bed. Jacuzzi bath tub. Some wood furniture and fittings are a little old and dropping out though. Location is slightly out of the way from Old City and Night Bazaar (15mins walk). Good for those who want a quiet, relaxing stay.
Beautiful, nature, relax, and friendly”
the room is nicely decorated, not too much but still give a touch of charming chaing mai. a small pantry is nice and has everything we need for a quick meal. the terrace is lovely and relaxing. i could lay down on a daybed, listening to the rain, reading a book and enjoy my drink for whole day. the view is not so great, not that it matters to me anyway. the jacuzzi is quite small, not recommended for two. the bedroom is all i ever wanted, nice and cozy bed, thick curtain that can block all the light away. my complain would be the wall which cannot block the noise of chinese tourists staying in the building behind my bedroom. shopping are not far, get a ride in front of hotel is possible. ask the bellboy to get it for you if you are foreigner, otherwise you will end up paying a high price.
An Oasis in the City”
A place for short relaxation. The friendly staff has made our stay all the more pleasant. Breakfast can be a little better in terms of variety. The city center is within easy reach. All in all, a place worth visiting again!
Great place Amazing Service”
We just checked out of the Shewe Wana and wanted to leave a positive review to share our experience. I don't often write reviews, but feel obligated as we really enjoyed our stay here. Highlights - the service is top-notch. Really, the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Very attentive. The shuttle is great. The breakfast is very good. It includes hot, cook-to-order and cold options. Also, they will serve coffee, cappuchinos, etc from their coffee shop next week. About the food, we found it very good also. During our stays in hotel, we rarely eat at the resort. Either the food is so-so, or the cost is too high. At Shewe Wana, the food is excellent and the price is very similar to other restaurants. We had all breaksfast, a couple lunches and a dinner there. About the facilities, generally its pretty good. The rooms feel a bit older, which in some ways is charming, as they have a lot of wood details. Many thanks to the staff for a wonderful stay!
Great family room, great breakfast, bed was firm, Swimming pool cold, little kitchen must try outsid”
Two bedroom was very big and nice with traditional decorations. Even the flooring was make of teak. First of all, we travelled to Chiang mai on Feb 2019 so the swimming pool was very very cold. Kids don’t dare. to go in. They should imply heater into the pool, just for recommendations. Daily breakfast was marvellous with choices of eggs selection- poach/scrambled/omelette and Thai dessert, waffle, pancake. Check in was fast and room was quiet. They have free shuttle bus to sat and sun night market and the tapas gate. Walking distance to the night bazaar so recommend to take tuk tuk or drive your own car to explore or by scooter. The air conditioning in the room was cold and there are big bottles of shower gel, conditioning and shampoo. The balcony was huge with 3 drying racks. There was a mini big c outside the street with just 5 min of walk. And there are supper to eat outside like noodle, rice during midnight. Beside the hotel, there are a local market which we can explore. And there is a place just outside the street, further up when u past by the big c mini mart which is the little kitchen. Serve very very very good and delicious food such as sea bass, pork rib, everything was great. Do not call the receptionist after 11pm because there be no one around as the phone be diver to the owner mobile. Complimentary parking inside the small carpark and the guard will lock the gate. So security is good too.
Lovely tropical gardens with fantastic suite apartment. The staff could not do enough for us. Free tuk tuk into town in the morning and evening very helpful too. The breakfasts are lovely and made to order. If I am ever back in Chiang Mai I will stay here.
Staff are super nice and helpful”
We had 3 families stayed in Shewe Wana for 3 nights. All the staff there were very nice, helpful and caring. They tried their best to serve us and care for our needs. We had a very good time in the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area with a lot of green areas, and within 10 mins walk to the riverside. It provides free hotel shuttle to Tha Phae gate and Night Bazaar. The rooms are spacious, clean with very big balcony. We will definitely stay again if we visit Chiangmai next time.
Excellent stay! An oasis in the city!”
The staff was amazing! I’ve booked a Family suite and they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite for free. It was great, the room is beautiful, the little pond in front of the room and all the gardens made us feel like we weren’t in the city, it was so nice! The hotel is not far from the old city and they provide transportation to the night bazar. For us the location was great, specially because we went to the Bangkok Hospital and the hotel provided a van to take us there. The kids loved the 2 swimming pools. Breakfast was great, all kinds of eggs were amazing! They served us even though we were too late for breakfast. They also provide breakfast in room for the suite. They gave us a late check out for free. The staff went out of their way to make us happy! Everything was great! We are a family of 6, with two small babies and we all had a very pleasant time there. We loved our stay at Shewe Wana.
Great breakfast! Friendly staff! An oasis in the city! ”
We loved Shewe Wana Suite Resort. The location is great and within walking distance to many markets. The resort felt like an oasis in the middle of the city. The staff were so nice and helpful. I lost my luggage and they went above and beyond to help me. Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious!!! Highly recommend staying here!
We loved our stay at Shewe Wana. The staff were exceptional, rooms very spacious and immaculately clean and beds comfortable. The grounds were quiet and beautiful with all their well kept gardens. The breakfast had many fresh cooked options as well as a buffet to choose from. Location was 20 minute walk to the night market and further to old town but the hotel offers an hourly free shuttle to those locations. We used local, inexpensive red truck transport back. I would definitely stay there again.
Exceptional service. The staff go out of their way to help.. Very very pleased. The hotel is in a good location but about 8-10 min away from the night bazaar by tuk tuk We got a family suite and it was very good. Breakfast was also good especially for vegetarians.. they went out of their way to make sure that we got stuff to eat Highly recommend the hotel specially for the service
A pleasant surprise”
Driving up to the resort, I was unsure of the location or the aesthetics. However, our first experience was with the staff and they were fantastic. Very nice & helpful. The second experiences was with the beautiful grounds. The walk to our room and the setting of the resort was an oasis within urban chaos. The room itself was a great 2-bedroom apartment, very spacious, large balcony, and very comfortable. I cannot state enough how nice and helpful the staff was.
My favorite in chiang mai”
I stay here each time I travel to Chiang Mai. I find the quality/value relationship very good. The structure itself is amazing: a small forest in the city, hence the name... Wonderful service, staff, spa, food and amenities in general. Details are valued and customers very well taken care of. See you soon!
it is a pretty and and very comfortable place with attention to detail. very quite place with a lot of feeling of Thai from all aspects, landscape, decoration, food and smell. family room is very spacious with two big double bed. however, there was argument around if kids go free if they use the existing bed and the one of the check in staff is very 'AUTHORITY ' attitude and asked me to leave if we don't accept what she said and her English is poor too despite the booking website has stated kids is free of charge if using existing bed. although it was agreed not to pay kids accommodation, we have to pay kids breakfast at the price of adult rate which is greedy. The whole experience , generally , was not bad due to the staff was generally nice and friendly to kids. other services , such as spa and taxi are over priced but to save the time, it is easy to book the taxi with them if you have a big family. the journey from the hotel to the airport cost us 300BAH but if using metered taxi, it only costs up to 100. however, the experience of discuss the price with taxi is the most unpleasant among of experience, the drivers will always want to ask for more money and avoid using meter. we gave up and used the taxi from the hotel when we were leaving. if preferred a quite place with THAI feeling, beautiful gardens and OK facility for a big family with reasonable price, it is the place to go.
Love this place and will absolutely return”
This place is beautiful. The decor is incredible and every nook and corner is so thoughtfully designed with beautiful details that speak to the Thai culture. It's not a cookie cutter hotel where you have no idea when you step in where you are. The staff is the best part of this place. They are all so lovely and went out of their way to make us feel invited and welcome. My 2 year old daughter was everyone's friend by the time we left. We will definitely be coming back and have recommended this place to many of our friends and family
A quiet and leafy spot just out of town”
Service was excellent, our room was charming and lovely though could have done with a few stronger lights. The location is a little out of town which means you need to catch a tuk tuk into town but also meant it was calm and quiet. Breakfast was fine but the other food we ate in restaurant or via room service was mediocre. Only real low point for an otherwise great hotel, with particularly fantastic service from all the staff.
The staff here were amazingly helpful. The breakfast was quick and tasty with plenty of options. The setting is very pleasant - lush gardens and very quiet. Two small but good and clean pools. Rooms spacious but a bit dark. Location a bit out of old town but transport super easy and cheap and too hot to walk anywhere anyhow!
very nice, valued, warm and sweet”
my wife and I like the hotel with full of praise. very quiet, warm and sweet for rest on vacation. very big and comfortable suit room with a sunny balcony. very good spa with professional skills and nice service. fortunately, we enjoyed viewing the parade in Chiang Mai Flower Festival 7-9 Feb, 2014.
