Acceptabel”
Food and staff was good.. without extra bed in the room for my child they charged quite high for the sofa.. which is not acceptable and worth..

Fantastic staff”
Dreamy location with views of lake and Himalayan range. The food was superb with local ingredients—tasty and beautifully presented. I went on a trek with a local guide to the Hindu temple and Peace Pagoda. He was sweet and took me on less traveled trails.

Both lakeside and farm were exquisite and eco based.”
For chilling and recovering from long walks and hikes, or treks, food and wine and massage.

Gemiddeld”
to get to the hotel you have to go by boat. its a 45 mins boat ride and then a 5 mons walk up the stone stairs. the location and view is amazing but be prepared for a lot of bugs. Internet is vey minimal and there is no TV available. the staff is super friendly. If ur looking for a super quite place away from the city then this is the place.

I feel cheated”
This was my first time in Nepal and I booked Pavilions Himalayas for a 3 days stay - based on Agoda ratings, reviews and description on location/ facilities. Almost every information provided was factually incorrect about this place. It was 20 mins off the main Pokhran city by drive - and then took 45 mins by boat to reach near hotel and then another walk up the hill. Such an arduous toil to reach the hotel is not mentioned anywhere on the hotel website or in Agoda description. Further, there is no way to come back to Pokhran after 4pm..because one doesnt get a boat ride back post sunset... so one gets stuck horribly. None of the facility mentioned was correct. There is hardly any facilities... like very limited food options with no flexibility, no TV, no fan, not much power back-up during electricity off hours (which is frequent), infested with leeches which doesn't surprise the staff.. which is conveyed as a blood purifying virtue and so on and so forth. I requested for an immediate return the moment I reached - but it was not possible given late hour of the day... and hence had no choice but get caged for a day. Checked out the first thing next morning.. in a leaky and risky boat. I have kept pictures and videos of my horrible ordeal. Another couple who came just after we reached - also felt equally miserable and cheated based on online description. They too checked out the next morning - despite having longer booking duration. Have asked for refund - but I don't see much hope since the premise itself is to somehow dupe guests here. The only good thing is the quality of wifi (because you get dedicated bandwidth possibly) and hospitable staff who try to do their best to keep guests happy with limited resource at their disposal. Strongly recommend not to venture here - unless you wish to literally get locked away from the city into a lap of bountiful nature.

Tranquility”
All things combined, it was tranqual. The only drawback was that there is no road to reach the destination, it has to reached by boat which takes around 40-50 minutes.

Bad experience - read all reviews before booking”
Hotel looks good on paper but is actually located in a remote hill on the other side of the Lake (only accessible by boat) - last boat is at 5 PM and if by any bad luck it's raining - you won't be able to leave the hotel. Facility has nothing to offer - the staff is not trained to maintain a facility like this one. Unfortunately, this chain has a reputation and this hotel does not meet it. We've stayed the The Pavilions Himalayas The Farm - much nicer (definitely recommending the Farm one & not the Lake View) - same owner but not the same standards unfortunately.

Amazing stay for family or couples or friends ”
There are total 8 villas... We are the only 2 couples in the entire place which made it exciting but a little scary at night... Journey: 8/10 its a 45 minute boat ride to the resort. You need to climb 5 minute stairs to reach to the top. Lay boat ride is at 5. So no matter where u go and have to come back to the resort you need to do that by 5 pm. Management : 9/10 the manager and the chef and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They asked us what we want for dinner or lunch and prepared exactly that. There is a severe shortage of staff since very less ppl come since pandemic. Rooms : 7/10 The rooms need to be cleaned better. Since its in the middle of a jungle almost be prepared to have some insects. The soap and bath products were not good and those need to be replaced. The bathroom door wouldn't shut completely and the water pressure was a little low in some rooms. Beds were comfy and lighting was good. No TV or wifi except in the reception area. Environment : 9/10 if you want to get away from the city is the perfect place to stay... All you can hear are birds and crickets at night and see fireflies. The staff arranged a bonfire for us and a candle light dinner outside in the lawn area. The view from the top rooms were amazing.. Full lake view plus the fish tail mountain tip and the Annapurna mountain. Food : 10/10.
