Consider all the variables”
I chose the Turner Hotel based on a friend’s recommendation of the neighborhood and the great price offered for a room with two single beds ( I was sharing the room with a friend). I failed to consider the location in relationship to other sights I planned to see, and discovered it was quite a walk to those locations. However, the neighborhood was interesting in regard to shops and restaurants. The room with two twin beds was miniscule in size, esp. the bathroom. I’m a narrow framed person, so could use the facilities, but a slightly above average framed person would have great difficulty using the shower and toilet easily. (A couple we were traveling with had a room with a queen size bed, and their bathroom and bedroom were much more comfortably sized.). The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the complementary breakfast offered a good variety of food options. Overall, it was a good experience.
Lovely hotel. Excellent breakfast food. Just the air conditioning didn't seem to work right so was very hot in the room which made it difficult to sleep. Other than that it's a very nice hotel
we used the room for the 18th birthday preparations and all staff are nice and friendly. surely to booked again next time.
Overall feel of the hotel was ok. If you want that rustic and vintage feel, go for Tuener. Friendly and very accommodating staff. Garden bar was closed when I was there, so I had nothing else to do in the hotel.
We stayed at this hotel twice before, floors were dirty and bathroom was not spotless. Staff were very cheerful and friendly and polite. Convenient location within walking distance of Termini station where car rental offices are located.
Great few nights”
My wife and I travelled Europe for about three weeks and spent 6 nights at Hotel Turner. The staff were easily the best out of our entire trip. Helped that the hotel was just near the bus stand which connects to some of the major tourist attractions we wanted to see.
Terrible , and dirty room.Nothing like the picture”
My stay was very terrible. The room is very tiny, and dirty. The staff is extremely rude and very unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Daz & Caz do euroland”
The staff were very helpful, couldn't fault them. The metro station was only a 5 min walk away, and a 15 min walk to Termini station. It was easy to get to wherever we wanted to go to. The only issue we had was that the shower in our room was very small, if you dropped the soap, you had to open the door so that you could pick it up. Otherwise it was a very nice place to stay and if we return to Rome for another trip I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Old fashion hotel needing a massive renovation”
I already stayed in this hotel, before it was split in two hotels (Turner and Des Epoques), and the room was pretty nice, spacious and with an open view, but this time I was given a very small room with the view on a wall. Furthermore the main entrance of the hotel was closed and so I had to enter from the Hotel Des Epoques located just beside (I guess same ownership), take the elevator for one floor only because no stairs are available and then move to another elevator, quite creepy and bouncing, to access the level of my room. This hotel should be now, in my opinion, a two stars hotel and in future I will not book it any longer, preferring in case the Hotel Des Epoques, in the event I visit Rome.
Strategic Location, Classical Interior, Clean”
We stay 2 nights in the hotel. The room and shower room is small and wifi connection is slow. Overall we are satisfied and enjoy the stay.
When we first stepped inside Turner, I was very pleasantly surprised with the decor of the hotel. The ceilings were quite elaborate, I must say. We also liked the breakfast, where you get a whole range of breads, croissants, ham and other meats, and the service was excellent. The staff were courteous and helpful with directions.
Not a 4-star htel, more like bed and breakfast”
Very old, the room was extremely small and the Wi-Fi connection is really bad. The hotel requested me to sit closer to the door to get the Wi-Fi connection work. There is no room service and the only meal served is breakfast. I was checking out at 8.00am and requested for bell-boy service and was informed that the bell boy is only available and will start working at 8.45am.
Friendly staff, good location, Nice room”
The hotel is on the 4th floor of the opera house, the lift was free, but no one inform the guest. The room is nice in a old sorta way. The hotel staffs are really nice and friendly. They pop some sparkling wine and lay out free snack for the guest in the afternoon. Very good service mind. the opera house itself has some shopping places ... Sephora, Zara, Mac cosmetics... great location.
It's not 4*”
This is a fair 3* hotel - rooms are small (smaller than in description), quite old and not super clean. Staff is great though
Hotel with Good Breafkfast”
very nice and comfortable. loved the large windows, huge room size and of course the friendly staff except the issue on wi-fi connection inside the rooms, nil.
Reasonably priced hotel, close To bus and train”
Facilities are a bit old, but price and location are great.
Close to the Trevi Fountain”
We stayed here on a leg of our honeymoon, and very much enjoyed our stay. You can walk to the Trevi fountain from the hotel and I would recommend that you do this.
Good Hotel near the Trevi Fountain.”
We stayed here on one leg of our honeymoon, as we were driving we couldn't stay right in the city centre and found this hotel to be great for what we wanted. If you stay here defiantly have a drink at the rooftop hotel bar, the guy that was running it was very friendly and giving good advice to us on where to go to get some authentic food.
