Quaint Hostel, Incredibly Friendly & Helpful Owner”
This hostel is an easy walk from Katoomba train station and is a great base for a lot treks. The owner is very kind and provides excellent maps and suggestions for Blue Mountain hiking. Would definitely recommend for budget travelers!

A home away from home”
This is a beautiful historic house that really feels like a home. The staff are incredibly friendly and give warmth to the place (not that it's physically cold!), and have excellent advice on how to enjoy your time up in the Blue Mountains area. It's very clean and well kept with comfortable living spaces. Value for the money, it's one of the better places to stay in Katoomba.

Located just a few hundred metres from the main streets of Katoomba, No.14 far exceeded our expectations. It was quiet and had lots of information on local activities, the rooms and facilities were all very nice and clean. You even get a free breakfast included. I feel like I'm not selling it enough, but this hostel is one of the best I've ever stayed at.

It was so good. This hostel was located near katoomba station, you need to less than 10 mins walking from the station. Hostel staff were welcoming me and facilities are clean. The atmosphere was cozy.

Close to bus / hop on & off bus/ train”
Great people and close to everything you need if you want to check out the hikes near Three Sisters! Blue Mountain is a big area 25 min train ride away is National Pass and it’s best to stay where you want to be hiking.

The best guest house in Katoomba. Good location near the train station,shops and restaurants. Very cosy and warm place, the owner is fantastic and very helpful. There is everything you need and it is very very clean! I defensively racomend n*14, you can't get wrong!

Lovely cosy quiet hostel ”
We really enjoyed our stay here - it was a lovely quiet hostel with a great mix of nationalities and ages. The weather during our stay was pretty dismal but the hostel was cosy! Great kitchen with lots of hobs and a sensible system for every one to store their food. There was free street parking right outside and the main town area a minutes drive or probably a 15-20 minute walk away. There was loads of information about the area and the staff were very helpful on what to do- even making sure there was a 'rainy day' info sheet out. We'd loved to have stayed longer but bailed because of the weather!

All you can hope for an accommodation: really well placed in Katoomba, amazingly helpful and friendly staff, incredibly well equipped (really good kitchen) and very very clean. Simply perfect.

Well worth a stay”
Our three night stay at No. 14 couldn't have been any better. The kitchen was well stocked with any utensils and cookware we needed. The staff was incredibly helpful- it almost felt like we had our own tour guide. It was a short walk to the main street area, where there are plenty of choices for dining. The bathrooms were always clean, and we didn't experience any sort of wait for them. The bed was comfortable, and there wasn't any noise to disturb our sleep. Along with the incredibly helpful staff, the other hostelers were very welcoming and a joy to be around. Stay here if you have the chance!

Such a nice place!!! The bed is extremely comfortable and the environment is nice and clean!!! It’s sad that the weather I came that is very cold and rain, couldn’t enjoy the great view from the hostel. I’ll probably come again if I travel in Sydney again!!! Thanks
