Lovely common spaces, very basic bathroom, poor sound proofing
+ excellent location for Söder + lovely wine bar in the lobby + good breakfast + recently renovated commonspaces and room (however not the bathroom) + nice staff + beautiful hallways + lovely view - very poor sound proofing - we could hear everything from the next room - very basic bathroom lacking comfort (no furniture, broken shower, broken tiles, shower curtain, no shelves or hooks) - rug in room visibly dirty - no amenities in the room, not even shampoo

Cosy boutique hotel in trendy Sodermalm
We had the superior double room. It was spacious and well-designed and nice and quiet (except when people are putting things in the recycling bins outside). We thought the staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was plentiful but the staff could do a little better to keep things stocked as you quite often have to ask them to do it for you (e.g. knives, milk, juice). The range of food is wonderful with plenty of healthy and diet conscious options. That said, fresh fruit would be a nice addition. My only negative comment would be that the only product provided in the bathroom was hand/body wash. It would have been nice to have received a few extra products at the price we were paying, which are usually standard at hotels of this quality. Overall though, a great stay and I recommend to everyone. We would come back.

overpriced hotel, even for stockholm
Old hotel, good location, but the rooms are very old, beds are not confortable, sound isolation is really bad, and there is no elevator. Staff is nice and breakfast quite ok though...

Not what I expected
I expected boutique, and it was the first night. I got a room on the newer first floor. It was beautiful but the water was only really hot or really cold. And i was next to he entrance of the floor which has a fire safety door which banged closed. So I asked to moved. Bad idea. My hotel then was changed to the older part (the newer part only has 10 rooms). and it was liked a hostel. NO ELEVATOR means I had to carry my things up 3 floors and m room seemed to be a the back of the hotel. The room is cute, but very worn. And I got a noise problem as the upstairs was a home. It's TV was on all night and all morning (I suppose all day too). The bathroom was better. The breakfast here is ok. Other reviews call it amazing, so i was very let down. On it's own its ok. The only thing hot is anything you toast. But they have Swedish items which was nice. A big selection though. Most of the staff was super nice except the one middle aged lady (everyone else was much younger) was keen on being friendly and helpful. Sadly, it was the mean lady who yelled at me to choose what room I wanted, and said she already gave my room to someone else when i made my complaint. I saw her being friendly to others, but it was still not close to the friendliness of everyone else. The Asian guy was super nice and even brought me adapter to charge my phone. This hotel use to be a hospital for the very sick, so its got some history.

OK stay in nice area
Location, location, location
Good, nothing special. Ok breakfast, the rooms could be a bit more updated. The towels were really worn out for example.

Ok, but quite pricy considering what you get.
Ok cold breakfast buffet. Clean rooms.
Ok cold breakfast buffet. No toilet or shower in the room. Hostel standard to the cost of a hotel. Good hotel if your intention is only to sleep at the hotel and not planning to hang out there. No elevators only stairs.

A nice hotel in a quiet although central area
The atmosphere and the location
first i was surprised that there was no bath in my room. . . i had not looked very clearly at my booking. but the room was nice, the view perfect and the staff very friendly. if you want to experience some of the nicest part of stockholm this is a good starting point.

Great location in the most interesting area
Nice old house with a beautiful courtyard
No AC/fun in the room
The Hotel is easy to find and it is located in a very quiet area and it is near to almost everything you might be interested in like shopping, restaurants etc. The Hotel have good service and the breakfast table was good. We could sit in the courtyard and have our breakfast, listening to the birds.
