Modern, clean accommodation. We booked an ensuite room for 3 nights, and our balcony had a side lake view. Incredible location - everything is close and very convenient. Friendly staff, special thanks to Alyssa (you are an awesome example of high-level customer service). Highly recommended. We definitely come back!

i stayed in 2 night in 10-bed mixed dorm and 6-bed female dorm. both are fine with clean beds and public/shared bathrooms. location is perfect. really couldn't find anything big to complain about but no highlight, either. maybe just one tiny thing, it's so full in the fridge(and they have a wall of fridges!) that it's almost warm when i take my food out XD.

The perfect value location”
Although it's a hotel, didn't have room cleaning service or a call phone for reception. A activity reception is just down below so very convenient and everything is less than a 10min walk from your stay. Perfecttttt. Laundry is good too

We always try stay at Nomads, as it in the Centre of Queenstown. The tariff is very reasonable. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The facilities are fantastic but a little run down. Note that if you want 5 star, this is not for you

Undecided about this place as it is both a hostel and hotel. Best thing is location. Great for a hostel, travel desk at bottom to book activities, friendly helpful staff, huge kitchen and communal area, in the heart of Queenstown with the lake at the end of the street and restaurants across the rd. With all this comes a lot of noise, loud music till 3am most nights, so depends on the individual.

As we are located in the centre of Queenstown we do experience noise from the bars and restaurants on the Searle Lane side of our property. Queenstown is a popular social town and our location is great for being amongst the vibrant nightlife but if you are a light sleeper we do recommend requesting a quiet room on our Church Street side of the property which we will always do our best to accommodate. We do our best to be as transparent as possible and have added this onto our listing so customers are aware prior to booking.

I booked the 4 bed ensuite female dorm and it was overall good. The room was spacious, toilets & showers were clean and bed was comfortable. The only problem was the room i got was next to a bar so it was quite loud throughout the night. So if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to take this into account. The location of the hostel is pretty central. But the wifi sucks though.

This hostel seems a bit dated now, compared to the photos. Things are falling apart. Not too much of a bother and understand that it’s in an industry which has suffered a lot recently, Rooms ok. Beds fairly comfortable. Quietness of room always depends on other guests, but the hostel at least does not allow alcohol on the premises which I think is good. Kitchen a bit of a mess and hard to use at peak times. Also food storage is a bit gross, fridges overflowing, bags of food hung on clothes hooks and more just on the floor. Red head English girl on reception was the most engaging, friendly, and helpful staff member. She just seemed to always be on the ball and getting things done - an asset for the hostel for sure! ;) Overall, if you can get a good price then it’s worth a stay here. Fairly chill. But if you’re a light sleeper, bring some earplugs.

Nice and cheap but make sure u work out the free parking places first!!! Also it's a dry hostel which only made aware of the 1 time went into the kitchen and was on a piece of paper... possibly before would have detoured us from booking here but it didnt turn out too bad. Sauna was a hit!!! Prepare $2 per game of pool but great location and price. Room was decent and loved the bed. So comfy

We had a pleasant stay at this place. Tidy room, comfortable bed, reasonable room price, and the location is superb. The room had a balcony with views of the Remarksbles. Only downside is that the room we were initially given was not cleaned. The next room we were given would not open with the door code provided. The hotel staff had to come up and sort it out himself. The Tv had a 'grainy' reception but it was not a major issue as we only opened it for the news. Despite said issues I would stay at Nomads Qtown Hotel again.

Booked the private King Room for 4 nights. Advised that housekeeping is done every other day (housekeeping was only changing towels no vacuuming floors/emptying rubbish bins/making beds) however it was reasonable quality for a hostel. Located above VERY NOISEY pubs and bars so if you're a solid sleeper you'll be fine, balconies are shared with the room next door. Located within walking distance of everything which was good for exploring the town

Very central location, right next to waterfront/near bars and restaurants. Bathroom was a little messy first day but may have been a guest issue. Actually felt like very quiet building for so many occupants! I stayed over the weekend so I went to sleep to the sounds of the clubs pumping, that didnt worry me but may others. Really love the 24/7 aspect, you can just be in and out and do your own thing as long as not bothering others. Would definitely stay again. Value for money for such a central location.

I’ve stayed twice at nomads . Incredible location , staff very helpful, very reasonable rates , Value for money and I’d come back . Good to have a private room at a backpackers with own en-suite.
