Located in the center of SoHo... Can't ignore the fact that the hotel is very lovely... We moved from the hotel at near Central Park to NoMo SoHo.. When we first entered to the tree hall way and to the lobby, we fell in love with the hotel (lobby smells lovely too - Gardenia scented ^^) Room was clean and always clean.. Shopping area is super close and super fun.. We loved walking to West village for trying food, which was a walking distance away... Very convenient... No downside for this hotel, in our opinion... Will surely return to this hotel if we have a chance to go back to Manhattan... :)
Breathtaking views, great location, the Soho experience!”
The hotel is a lovely boutique property in unrivalled location. The rooms with a view are amazing! Food is very good. The rooms are well appointed, bathrooms clean and water pressure of showers spot on. Beds are very comfortable and clean. Staff customer service attitude is choppy, some do excel (Andrew, outstanding by far, the gem of the lot), others seem really not bothered to put Nomo Soho on the good books of the savvy international treaveller. The scene and ambience is really enjoyable, easy and fun. The views take your breath away and as long as Andrew stays put, Nomo Soho is the place to stay for your leisure visit to NYC. Watch out for the very fashionable “urban amenity fee” of circa USD30 per day which will be added to your bill. If you book with Agoda, this is NOT clear at all when you confirm your purchase, and I would see it as a “hidden charge” which for most UK and European travellers is a let down. Agoda has already charged tax and some other fees already.
Cute Boutique Hotel”
The hotel theme is very cute and enticing especially for millenials. The rooms are very modern and clean. The location is very convenient since it's right within SoHo and walking distance from quaint shops. We didn't get to try the outdoor restaurant though but it looks very enticing. Overall, we will consider this hotel again for our future trips in New York.
Gorgeous in a great location in Soho! ”
This hotel is modern and in a great location, only a few minutes walk to the subway and in the heart of the Soho shopping district. Also a short walk to little italy (great restaurants) and china town. The rooms are very small but that is to be expected in NY. The rooms are extremely well kept, clean and bathrooms are in great condition. We had a room with a view and this was priceless to see the Empire state building and NY skyline at anytime of the day!
Modern, trendy- fashionista's hotel but small room”
Best hotel in soho area. Ask for high floor rooms to get a good view- we stayed on 23rd floor and had amazing views of midtown and out to Brooklyn. The concierge were amazing and nothing was too difficult. The hotels very trendy and they are a bit arrogant so can be a little uncomfortable at times if you are dressed more casually for sight seeing but otherwise it is great. Super close to shopping and broadway. I would next time break up my trip to stay less days in soho as we spent 8 nights and once houser done with shopping would go towards east village or west village areas for dining outetc as e found we were always leaving the are in the evenings. Very accessible via metro but hard to get taxi's s located on a back street. Rooms are very small but comfortable and would stay again
Best! Best! Best!”
After staying in Times Square at another really good hotel, we decided to move down to soho for the shopping and amazing restaurants/pubs/nightlife. The Mondrian was exactly like the photos and better! Big clean comfortable room and staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again..
We stayed at the Mondrian SoHo for one night in January. Having stayed at a number of Morgans Hotels we were very impressed with this one. The staff were extremely helpful and arranged a late check out as we missed our flight the night before and were very effecient at booking taxis and helping with queries. The rooms are small but have enough space to be comfortable.
Very nice hotel”
Soho neighborhood is great and it is located in excellent location. A bit pricy I would say because the rooms are quite small, BUT we had areally good time anyways. A good TIP will be to stay as high as possible in this hotel. The helpdesk will put you anywhere availible from low level up to Penthouses levels.
cool boutique hotel, great location”
Stylish hotel, located really conveniently in Soho (and Chinatown). Loved the design of the rooms, and the staff were extremely helpful with our requested. An entirely pleasant and comfortable stay! The normal rooms tend to run on the small side, so be warned about that if you have loads of luggage or expect lots of room space. Despite that, the use of space was quite smart. Would love to return!
Great Service in the middle of Soho”
this is a great hotel in the heart of soho. great view from the rooms, and very helpful staff and concierge. left my visa card in the safe, and when i came back to reclaim it they also returned my watch which i at that time did not realise i had forgotten.
cute hotel with a convenient location”
I liked this hotel because it was close to the areas that I like to go to (soho, chinatown). The restaurant is really good also. Our room was a little small but we chose the cheapest rate, so its understandable.
Excellent location ”
Location is excellent, walking distance to Soho, China town, Little Italy, Tribeca, I walked to Brooklyn Bridge one morning. Nice building entrance and interior. However, glass door to the bathroom make too much noise and light to the others sleeping within the same guest room. No shower curtain hence easily wet the floor outside the tray. No fridge nor coffee maker in the room. Only coffee/tea on ground floor in the morning.
I had a pleasant experience at Mondrian Soho. ”
The interior of the room I stayed was beautiful. Although the room was small, it was very clean and had a nice city view. Staffs were nice and helpful. I liked atmosphere and decor of every part of the hotel including ISOLA (the hotel restaurant). However, the only downside was food; bolognese pasta was below the average.. I've been stayed more than 15 hotels in nyc, and Mondrian Soho is definitely at the top of my list.
Great Hotel in a very convenient location”
Our stay at the Mondrian was very comfortable, the rooms were really nice and clean and we loved coming back at the end of tiring day sightseeing. The doormen were all very well mannered greeting us everyday. On the day of our departure we were served water whilst waiting for our shuttle pick up. This was a very nice touch. The food at the restaurant and room service was great. The drinks were great. Unfornately we did not have a chance to visit the rooftop bar, and this would be the only negative experience during our stay. We meet the food and beveridge manager in the lift on our last day and she advised us to go up to the bar, however once the bar bar was open we were denied entry into the special lift. The host advised that hotel patrons would need to wait in a queue outside. As guests of the hotel we were not keen to be waiting in a queue. This by no means deters our impression of the hotel but it would of been nice to be given the privilege of visiting the rooftop bar.
Great big hotel for NYC”
everything was great but there was some shocking addons on our bill, im not sure if its New york city Law but our supposedly bill for the whole stay was $1800 but add ons on tax and service fee was another 400 and 300 respectively, is this right??
Good hotel ! ”
i liked this hotel. loved the fact there's an ipad in the rooms to use for internet browsing. also the rooms are very clean. the bath amenities were nice, smelled really good. i would go back if i want a hotel in the price is right.
A great retreat within a cosmopolitan area”
The stay was great but not long enough! Decor very dutch with blues and whites rather than reflecting Mondrian's work which is very NY so the theme and the name not connected for real art lovers but the quality of the accommodation certainly made up for it.
I like the hotel and depending on which room you get, it can be a very nice room , even though it is unusual to have the sink outside the bathroom. Very modern and well designed. Very clean. The downside is that there is no one to help with the luggage and then when you finally reach the place with the doormen, they are inside the hotel, not paying much attention. Good reception though, very helpful, they changed my room to accommodate me. I will definitely go back.
Great Hotel, service & location”
Very helpful staff. located near Canal st subway.Clean & chic rooms.Young & wealthy go to this hotel. Food & Drink expensive in Hotel but there are so many bars & restaurants close by - use them. Conceige very helpful, great recommendations for nightlife, restaurants & sites to see. One of the best Hotels we have been to. A hotel for couples or older children with parents. The smell of the main reception & decor delightful. Enjoy ! 10/10
Great hotel but with hidden fee $25+tax per day”
Close to subway, walking distance to little Italy and China town. Hotel is nicely decorated, very hip and cozy. Staff were helpful and polite. But I noticed the design of the hotel was more about looks than practicality, especially the washroom had weak water pressure, the floor gets all wet because there was no glass door at the shower, and the lamps are located in a weird height and position within the room. Other than that, everything was great. If you choose this hotel, be warned that there is a $25 dollars plus tax fee per day of stay, for amenities. This was not mentioned beforehand throughout the booking process.
