Nice cosy hotel, pleasant stay.
This is a small charming boutique hotel. A colonial style shophouse styled building converted into a hotel. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The decor and ambience is tastefully done and there is plenty of photo taking opportunities all over the compound. There's a lovely little pool, nice cafe, a reading/lounge area, a pretty rooftop garden and well decorated rooms. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. My only adverse feedback is that Sinar, the room I was staying was noisy in the evening as it was connected to the staff's room. The location is very convenient within easy walk of many attractions and foodie places. This hotel has my recommendation.

Lots of charm in this cosy place
Nice old house, great room with nice bathroom attached. Some parts of the hotel can be hot just like everywhere in Georgetown but that's the consequence of an old building. Simple but ok breakfast. Restaurant at the place makes it easy to eat while kids are sleeping or enjoying a beer at the rooftop garden. Can recommend it.

Odd Experience
It's difficult for me to write a review of this place as my experience was rather strange. The day I arrived was fine, but the next day they started renovating the hotel. All the interesting pictures in the dining area were removed, they started painting, the tables were upside down, the cafe and kitchen seemingly disappeared and there was drilling. The staff were apologetic, helpful and very friendly, but the experience was certainly less than it should have been. Other problems were four large cockroaches in my bedroom, the wifi being terrible and the terrible loud pop music played at breakfast. The space itself should be excellent. The upstairs is peaceful and the building a period piece. There is a decent swimming pool downstairs and the location is good for Central Georgetown. Overall, I feel it I had been there when the hotel was actually finished and ready, it may have been worthwhile. As it was, it was not worth money and I have no intention of going back.

Pleasant stay with Noordin
Staff, Jessie, is very thoughtful when she offered us an free upgrade having seen the condition of my mum with limited mobility to prevent her from having to climb the stairs on our originated room.

Disappointing
While there was nothing overtly wrong overall with either the room or the facilities, it was nevertheless not a good experience. When we arrived the power was out and it was suggested we go to the mall to wait till it came back. We declined. Then again between 1am and 6am there was another power outage, which led to an uncomfortable hot sleepless night. The breakfast was adequate. There appeared to be a lot of hovering staff and I was less than impressed by one staff member asking how much I paid for the room when presenting my Agoda booking. The fact that the rate dropped $40AUD between booking and arriving (a period of 3 days) did not help. When I asked for my son to be moved to an upstairs I was advised it would cost an extra 50 RM.. For the price I expected a greater degree of professionalism and service. This was an expensive hotel and not one I would rrecommend.

Aircon in the breakfast area and restaurant is unable to cope with the heat. This make the place stuffy. I found cockroaches and mosquitoes in my room.
