Came for illuminations, the hotel is dated as you can see from the photos, but we had not come to inspect lampshades for dust, I had brought my 7 year old to enjoy the illuminations. Tram Stop directly outside, 24 hour parking for £3 in hotel car park, Room was tired and so were we so had a lovely nights sleep in the comfy bed which had clean sheets. We had the breakfast which was good and varied. If your wanting luxury and to laze around in the hotel room all day then I would book elsewhere , but if you prefer to spend on activities what you have saved on the hotel then I would book here, if your kids notice that the hotel is a little tired then I think that they will notice that blackpool is too.

Great stay at Norbreck Hotel, superb value for money and clean accommodation. Around the interior of the Hotel all rather tired and needs updating. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Worth a Stay”
The room was spacious, clean, bright, well-supplied, with a good view. Check-in was pleasant. Other staff were friendly. Good price to stay in a classic old hotel that I always knew as the Norbreck Hydro.

No Hot Water For 3 Days!”
Ideal location North of Blackpool. Bedroom clean & tidy. My main ripe is that there was no water in our bedroom for 3 days. Reported it to Reception on numerous occasions, but nothing was done to rectify this issue. I was provided with a Compliments Slip and told to eMail their Customer Services. Upon entering the Ground Floor of the Windsor Wing of the Hotel stunk of Cannabis Skunk - Smoking in the bedrooms seems to be accepted! .... Cleaning Staff outside most mornings clearing up the Nub Ends seen scattered below our windows. I have returned home and commenced Complaint Procedure.

You be stayed in much better hotels however non with so much character!!! I had a ball here and laughed so much. All walks of life in this hotel and because the weather was horrendous we stayed in the hotel and ended up having a really good time.

The initial room I was assigned was absolutely sweltering in heat. I complained to be accommodated in a cooler environment which was very clean with a sea view. The pool was fine but a small charge of £5. On one of the days the pool entry was delayed until 1 p.m. which was really not convenient. I decided to stay here owing to the lower,cost and space residing within each room for I was not disappointed.

The Hotel itself is ok for "Sleeping Accomodation" The hotel decor is now looking very tired and could really do with updating..... not like the photos show whatsoever. The staff are friendly enough, and the food is good. However it is a little bit further out that the map suggests........ to get from the hotel to North pier in a black cab is £8!!!! Yes there are trams running but getting on them in the evenings is a mission on its own. Would i stay again. I dont think so. What seems to be the best placed hotel on a similar budget would definitely be The Metropole.

Hotel could be doing with a lick of paint inside and out, and is quite dated. This being said the rooms were clean and staff were very helpful.

Cheap room for the night ”
The bed was hard and the bathroom smelt terrible, but was ideal for a cheap nights stay. It was a very long walk from the golden mile in Blackpool though.

The hotel would be helped if more people kept areas clean and not just dump glasses pots and anything where they want.The room was dated but clean and warm.Good singer on in the evening,and the breakfast was nice.

Old and in need of renovation ”
Pros. It was warm. Negative. It rains inside the window, it's old and very in need of a face-lift. I couldn't park in the car park so I had to park on the sea front road. The staff were very non friendly. Here's your key and that was that! We were put in a room which was like the titanic when it was sinking, there was rain coming in on the inside of the window. I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me!

Old and dated hotel full of scummy customers who are mostly loud and drunk No point complaining to staff as they do nothing. So if you want no sleep till 4 am then this place is for you
