Very tired, updating well overdue”
We stayed at this hotel early January. On arrival our room was cold as there was a panel heater which had not been switched on and took some time to heat up. The room was dated, the cupboard did not close properly. The bathroom was very old fashioned. The whole hotel could be described as quaint, but there are degrees of quaint, this was not in a good way. The room we stayed in was upstairs, no lift, and was obviously in the staff quarters as we were frequently awoken during the night by lights going on, people talking and doors open I big and closing. At 12pm we were awoken by someone hovering outside on door. Needless t say, words were had and it ceased!
On the plus side the bed was extremely comfortable with good pillows, hot water was plentiful for bathing, the breakfast was very generous with a good choice and the staff very extremely helpful and friendly. However the down side outweighed the good for us.

Wonderful Central Hotel to Arundel Historical and Interesting ”
On the whole a good stay Breakfast was fab and the room comfortable, lacked a little warmth in the way of decoration bit bland no pictures and very dirty scuffed paintwaork but the bed was awesome . Staff were lovely and the view (Room Number 14) was awesome couldn't actually get any closer to the Castle !
