Very cheap”
Biggest advantage is location, close to center and street market. We wanted to stay for one night in cheap place and it was so but also ugly to be honest. Bathroom was worst - neglected, uncomfortable and with insect guest in the morning... Our room was at ground floor and something outside was very noisy making our sleeping harder (like hard bed also...). If you want to pay very little money and this is priority you can think about North Star, but I would not come back to this place.

Thieves, Rude staff and Rooms infested with ants. ”
Stayed here 2 nights and so far in my month in Thailand this was by far the worst hotel I stayed at. Staff are rude and unwelcoming to me and other guests. Its almost as if they dont want your business. They certainly need a lesson in hospitality. Room and bed was infested with ants. To top it off I left my jewellery in the room and I returned 30 mins after checking out to go back and get it but in the space of that time the cleaner had gone into the room and taken the jewellery claiming they never saw it. Stay at your own risk...

I booked a room for 2 days when i check in i have to waiting for about 4 hours because cleaner didn't clean yet and it is not clean. And i feel really bad about the speaking of hostel owners, she said impolite words and shouting , looks angry every time . I feel very missing for my money to pay to the impolite hotel owner. They have laundry service and i use it ! God my clothes are under 1 kg but she said it's 2.5 kgs! What!! In addition when the traveler come and ask her for tour service and they didn't buy it , she curse traveler with thai language ! Dam! This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in Chiang Mai. I recommend to anyone .. if you don't want to have a bad experience please don't go this hostel !

Ok , for price , but not great, pay no more”
We are stay in room noisy, the street was outside the wall of my room , and the bed was broken. After did said of the staff , they will change for 2 second floor , the room was ok . But it's little bit older ,and so clean .

(+) Positives - WiFi was good in the rooms - Bed was comfortable (-) Negatives - Room is not sound proof at all, you can hear every sound from outside the room. - If you take the room on the ground floor there is no real window - Bathroom was not clean at all - The shower is practically on top of the toilet, so everything gets wet - There is a Bar across the road so on the weekend don't expect any rest before midnight 12.AM

The place was good and the manager was nice. She can speak English. They also have laundry service, which was very useful. We stayed here for two days more in total 4 nights, so I was expecting they to clean the room or renew the toiletries; however they didn't do that. There were some ants, but it was ok. I just didn't like that the bathroom window was next to the corridor.

I stayed here 6 nights then moved hostels. The hotel is very cheap and in an excellent location. Keep in mind: 1. I stayed on the bottom level, there is no audio privacy at all, I was woken every day around 6:30am simply because it's so loud. 2. The hot shower was... warm. Water unit was old. 3. My bathroom often smelt like sewage which also made the room smell.

I stayed for 6 days in fan room. The room was old, but no problem. Female staff was helpful and friendly. But male staff was unfriendly and his attitude was so bad. My stay was very uncomfortable because of him. I don't recommend.
