Comfortable hotel close to YVR”

I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn in Richmond. My room was comfortable and well-appointed, the included breakfast was lovely, and the shuttle bus took no more than 10 minutes to deliver me to the Vancouver Airport. However, I didn't like that the hotel uses single-use cutlery, plates and cups. In this day and age, they should really be more environmentally conscious. How difficult would it be to use tableware that can be reused??

Hampton inn Vancouver airport hotel exceeded my expectations. The place is under renovation which is good because we got the newly renovated room. So clean, so sparkling bright , just like a brand new hotel. The staff is very courteous and breakfast is good. Location is near sky train . There are restaurants and grocery store nearby. Highly recommended.

Great hotel for Vancouver Airport”

Excellent, clean hotel very near Vancouver airport. Near good dining options, especially if you like seafood or Asian. Early morning shuttle was on time . Everyone very friendly. High cost compared to similar quality Hampton Inns but probably normal for high season summer months.

Great place to stay for an early morning flight!”

We chose to stay here before an early flight the next day, and utilized the airport shuttle, which was a great amenity! We also used the nearby public transit to get to downtown Vancouver, which was cost effective and easy.

Family friendly stay with free shuttle service to & from Airport.”

A family-friendly hotel which is only 15min drive from Airport. The hotel also has a free shuttle service to and from Airport which is a plus. A good starting point for those that just arrived and planning to drive to Jasper or Banff as there is a big Supermarket just opposite the Hotel where you a stock up cheap groceries for your road trip. Sky Train to Airport or Town is just 500m walk away.

Very good”

Very convenient for the airport where I needed to be early the next morning. However it is on a very busy road and there are no footpaths on this street. Hard to walk anywhere especially when you have a suitcase. I walked from skytrain which isn’t far but is quite industrial around the hotel as having no footpaths/ sidewalks made it difficult Breakfast was great. Free shuttle was excellent . My room was clean and spacious. Air conditioner was a little loud and you can hear train and traffic but not too bad. Staff helpful and friendly.

My stay was comfortable. I suggest putting mini fridges inside hotel rooms. The room was clean and very cosy.

Wonderful stay to start our travels through Canada and Alaska. Cannot praise Sharon, friendly customer service officer, who went out of her way to assist us with travel plans and general local knowledge. So close and handy to skytrain!

Short stay”

Was able to get a good deal for this compared with other places. Free parking. Clean room and included few breakfast. I would agree with the positive reviews I read. Location is close to everything in Richmond. It's a short walk to Bridgeport station next to casino that would connect you into downtown Vancouver or Yaletown

we stayed a night. near airport, under 8mins to get at hotel. A word of advice, to please make sure the person you are able to talk to at the hotel understands your request. We took two taxis from airport sine we are a family of 4 with our luggage. They only reimbursed us for the fair of 1 taxi instead of 2, but the hotel first told us that they will reimburse our taxi fares since their shuttle service is not available to pick us up. the toilet is of good size but it only has a sliding door with no lock. Clean. Good Breakfast. Good Staff. Cheers.

Friendly staff/workers. Satisfying hot breakfast with lots of choice. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Good location near to airport but not many restaurants in immediate vicinity, if walking. Starbucks and an A &W across the road.
