Great bed! It has an amazingly clean bathroom given the age of the facility. Welcoming staff!

Slanted Rooms!”

For upwards of $200/night I would have expected the rooms to be in at least reasonable order. Sadly, not the case. Upon entry into the room, we noticed that the room was on a slant! It was very awkward! The breakfast was just ok, but nice that we were able to sit outside. The location is right off the circle, so traffic can be loud, however, it's a straight shot to downtime, and the hotel is on the one way traffic side of the road that leads into town. All in all a disappointment for the price paid.

small bathroom can only have one person at a time in there, not good for a family. old facility, very dated. continental breakfast was descent, had more options that I expected. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Pleasantly Surprised!! ”

We were so happy with our choice for the Port Inn. It’s conveniently located on Route 1, near the traffic circle, making it convenient to access highways/ main roads. And yet sitting at the pool and in our room, which was in the back part of the hotel, we couldn’t hear anything! Staff was super friendly and rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfortable!! Would definitely recommend and will return ourselves the next time we’re in the area!

Dissappointing”

Looks like an updated motel, but some lingering musty cigarette smell. Felt like in a basement as we were put in the rooms underneath at back. Short stay worth 79 a night not 149...we wouldn’t go back. We had reasonable expectations but this was not pleasant.

A great find!”

This is an older motel that has been extensively renovated. Rooms are small, but very ccmfortable. There are numerous ports to recharge electronics, fridge, microwave, and very comfortable mattress on our king size bed. I loved the coffee machine in the breakfast room that made lattes and cappuccinos.

Wonderful spot, can't wait to return”

Beautiful little inn with all the New England charm but modern amenities. The place was right off the highway, incredibly easy to get to and downtown was a short affordable uber ride away. The complimentary breakfast was not only palatable but actually one we enjoyed! I've found in the past you're offered breakfast but the food is gross and you end up spending money elsewhere anyway. This place was top notch, the food was fresh and the attendant was very helpful. We will definitely be staying here when we venture back to Portsmouth

It is a nice comfortable in at a good price. The Riverview is not much to look at.

Room was comfortable. Breakfast had good variety. Would stay here again.

A very good family option”

Location was not downtown but it had everything we needed. An efficiency with fridge stove and sink...a swimming pool...a new comfortable bed...and pet friendly with the right amenities. It was easy to find and the only problem we had was a seal on the fridge but it did not affect operation. It is minutes from downtown but of course not close enough for water view. If in had the kid and dogs again I don't think I can do any better in the area.

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms are well-appointed and bery clean. Lovely pool. And breakfast is included!
