Best Hotel I stayed in One Week in Myanmar”
I had a most pleasant stay in Bagan because of Northern Breeze! Besides the pluses I already mentioned, Northern Breeze is in a good neighbourhood, quiet and very relaxing. The concierge staff really go out of their way to help you, they even allowed me to call long-distance to Yangon to enquire something about my hotel there. Wi-fi access is good enough for a country like Myanmar. Perhaps the only minus I can find is the absence of an in-house restaurant. But, this was solved as Northern Breeze is 5-10min walking distance to many restaurants nearby.

Best value hotel I've tried”
I enjoyed my stay in Northern Breeze. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had no hassle checking-in and out. My room was clean and big enough for a solo traveler. They have hot shower! I also rented my e-bike through them for 2 days since it was the cheapest way of transport in Bagan. Would never hesitate to book again if I travel to Bagan in the future. :)

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”
One thing good about travelling to this country, early hotel check-in is not a problem. Room is large enough although there's issue with the curtain in the bathroom and the sink, but I don't mind it at all.The hotel condition overall is modest. Food is good. Massage is available just around the corner and ebikes are also rented out. Please ask for an e bike with a very good battery otherwise youll end up stucked in the middle of nowhere when the battery gets drained. But don't worry, there's always a good soul who'd lend help. New Bagan is the in the quiet side of the city as it is not as busy compared to Old Bagan. There are lots of food establishments around the area and prices are almost the same but theres a very good one near the hotel, 7 SISTERS RESTAURANT, 79 Nwe Ni Street, New Bagan. As to the hotel staff, they are always ready to help. Overall nice stay.

We enjoyed very much our stay at Northern Breeze Guest House. The staff were extremely helpful, although their English is somewhat limited. They helped us to book our tickets back to Yangon (including pick-ups) and had e-bikes for rent at reasonable prices. Breakfast was good. For such a price there are really few things to complain about.

Pro: staff is adorable and they will do their best to make you feel very welcome. You can hire electric bicicles from them. Tv has an english movies channel which is you when you want to spend one quiet abd chill night (as wifi not working). Location is in new bagan and near to many restaurants and small shops. Hotel is quite new and very clean. Cons: wifi is not working but well it is a bit the same problem everywhere in bagan except if you stay in a fancy hotel. The room did have windows but they cannot be opened but it is a small detail. To sum up: good value for money, we recommend this place!

Amazing guest house in the middle of New Bagan”
Everything's just perfect excepts the location is in New Bagan - a little bit far from nightlife center (which is in the middle of Old Bagan and Nyang-Oo), but it will be fine if you have rent a e-bike for 10,000 kyats (9$) for 2 persons a day for travelling around town. So a perfect day starts with a electronic bike self-planned tour around Old Bagan - Nyang-Oo, have a nice lunch and dinner in Old Bagan, some drinks in Nyang-Oo then back to the hotel at 10:00 pm. They even gave us a free room for taking shower when we were waiting for bus transit. The staffs are super cute.

A fantastic place made better by the staff”
A great little guest house well located off one of the "main roads" in Bagan. Rooms were of a great standard for the rates but the thing that made our stay exceptional were the staff. The go above and beyond in everything that they do, especially when it comes to helping the guests. We couldn't be happier with our time here and would recommend it to all who head to Bagan.

Wonderful stay ”
We had a very nice stay at Northern Breeze. The rooms were small, and slightly windowless (frosted glass), but well-decorated and clean for a budget hotel. I like the stone shower and variety of lights. The staff was incredibly helpful. We arranged bikes, e bikes and onward travel with them. Prices were reasonable. Only downside is that you need to request your room to be cleaned and the taxis are expensive. Go next door to the sweet family and get your laundry done for 200 kyat per item. I especially enjoyed having breakfast on the roof terrace.

Nice place to stay with friendly staff”
We planned to stay there 3 nights, but I got sick and we had to extend our staying to 5 nights. Hotel was great, located in a quiet place, easy to get to Old Bagan. Room were clean, tasty breakfast and the most importantly friendly and helpful staff (as I mentioned I was sick, they called for a doctor in the middle of the night and offered me a flask of traditional Burmese tea for stomach ache). The only bad thing was that we paid much more directly in the hotel for 2 extra days than we paid through Agoda, so it seems that booking room directly in the hotel is not a good deal. Just beside the hotel you can rent a e-bike and you will find laundry service called 'Hello laundry'run by lovely local family.

Great place, value for money”
The staff was very kind, they let us checkin when we came early in the morning, you couldn't expect more with that price in Bagan. Breakfast was great. The hotel is in New Bagan 4-5 km from Old Bagan, however you can rent e-bike or bicycle to travel around.

Quiet hotel for your bagan trip”
Very nice hotel in a quieter area but still close to everything you need. Bagan pagodas are all aroud so there is no specific location which would be netter to stay. The room are clean, staff is friendly and help you arrange trips and transport. You can borrow ebike directly from the reception for 8000 K whole day, 4000 K half day. The only thing that I would appriciate would be mosquito nets on the window so you can let some fresh air in without the worry of mosquitos. Overall wery plesant stay and bagan pagodas are just AMAZING especialy on sunrise and sunset :)

Nice staff and convenient location”
Firstly, it is a good location in Bagan, only 10 minutes from guest house to old bagan by E-bike Also, all the staff are helpful!! Thanks for their help for those days! However, there is bad smell in toilet. I hope the guest house will fix this problem.

Northen breeze”
We stayed two nights while visiting Bagan and this place was great it was clean good size room nice bathroom, hot water the air con could have been a little colder but it did the job. The staff were helpfull the place was quiet both during the day and night and there were plenty of nice places to get some food with out having to go to old bagan. Breakfast is your typical eggs, fruit, coffee and tea but they cook your eggs the way you want it. You can also hire a e scooter with this hotel saves the hassle of walking around trying to find one.

A gem in New Bagan”
The staff were very friendly during check-in. The room was a bit small with no place to store luggage besides the floor. Fantastic breakfast - eggs cooked to order, buffet with fresh juice, fruits, toast, Myanmar dishes and coffee/tea. Convenient location in New Bagan just off the main road (nice and quiet at night) with easy access to restaurants, ATM's, bike rentals, travel agents (for flight tickets, money exchange, etc.) and we could even walk to nearby temples. The staff were also able to arrange for tickets and transportation (Mt. Popa tour and airport transfer). I highly recommend a stay here.

Great guesthouse in new Bagan ”
flexible check-in and check-out which is nice because of flight times. The location is on the edge of new Bagan. Easy access to temples via e-bike. The one right next to the hotel, the bikes die easily, so find a different place. Had nice breakfast options on the rooftop in the morning. Wifi wasn't very reliable here, but may have been my room location. Staff was nice and they provide free water in your room daily. The 7 sister restaurant 1 block over is good.

Nice shared room, great breakfast”
Shared room here is a good option for solo traveller in New Bagan. Only three beds in the room makes it comfortable. You share one toilet and one shower between max. 6 people. Breakfast is extensive. Reception can arrange everything for you; e-bike, bus tickets, taxis, but it’s best to shop around for the best price.

Everything perfect”
The hotel is in the middle of new Bagan, very good position to find a good restaurant for the dinner. The staff speaks good english, and is very helpful. You can book bus tickets (we booked a ticket for Mandalay) direct from the hotel, the staff checks for availability and the bus comes pick you up at the hotel. On the day we checked out, we could still take a shower in the afternoon befor the transfer to Mandalay. Everything was perfect! Thank you!

Nice little hotel away from the main road”
We found our room at Northern Breeze a little small, but the hotel as a whole had a very cozy feel to it, so maybe this was done on purpose. The bathroom has a great rain shower with hot water, but again it was way too small and there wasn't much wiggle room between the sink and the toilet. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful, helping us order taxis and rent electric bikes. Location is good - it's in a quiet alley without many restaurants or stores right outside, but with an e-bike you'll get to the main busy strip in a minute.
