Located just half an hour away from Singapore International Changi Airport, Nostalgia Hotel offers easy access to the lively areas of Singapore, making it an ideal hotel for both business and leisure travelers. They feature 50 rooms with contemporary and romantic decor. Each room is furnished with luxurious facilities that offer a lavish lifestyle, including the originally themed art on the walls by an acclaimed local artist, Andre Tan, who was inspired by Singapore's 1940s art. The rooms incorporate Wi-Fi, an LCD TV, iPod docking stations, and quality Paraben free amenities. Nostalgia Hotel is indeed a great place of stay if you’re visiting Singapore.

Cheap Hotel, close to Tiong Bahru MRT (10 min walk) and bus stop (2 min walk) Close to Tiong Bahru Market/Hawker Centre (2 min walk) Room was on the small side, but had what You need for a holiday. Was comfortable just a bit noisy as you could hear the neighbours talking and using the bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful Room was kept clean by staff and they also supplied complimentary water each day. Would recommend if your on a budget.
The lobby is very freagrant and the rooms are super clean!
Great little hotel”
Enjoyed my stay here. Right next door is Tiong Bahru and gawker centre and there are a number of eateries nearby. Ntt is a bit of a walk but the bus stop outside takes you to Orchard, CBD or anywhere else you might want to go. Hotel itself is well maintained and staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again as the price is great.
The Staff were all accommodating, felt at home with their warmth welcome.
We Found Our Secret place to stay in Singapore ”
Ist the manager at the front decks, what a wonderful asset for the hotel he had the best attitude and manner we have ever come across in our travels, Thank you very much Mr Jeffrey began. What a wonderful old hotel, looks great and inside is perfect. It's so good going to a small hotel where they make you feel special and comfortable. The rooms are very clean & neat and ours was decked out in the old style. The bed is to die for. In brief we can not say 1 bad thing about The NOSTALGIA HOTEL Once again thank you manager Mr Jeffrey Ngam for making us feel special and how you treated us while we were at your hotel for 5 nights
There was only one electrical socket that could handle my American-style power supply and it was in an awkward location for me (I needed it bedside). However, there is a surprisingly well stocked export shop (5 Stars Export) across from the Tiong Bahru Market that is a two minute walk away that has an assortment of adapters available for perusal.
All excellent ”
Clean friendly good food recommend to everyone
We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast, room and location.”
The swimming pool was a wonder way to cool off after a day being a tourist. We were within a 15 minute walk to Chinatown and the Hop on Hop Off bus stop is right outside the hotel. The surrounding neighbourhood was really safe and had some restaurants and shops. Our king bed was comfortable and the to size was smaller but worked. We would stay again.
This place is ok.”
This place is good. Bus stop less than a block away. Alot of nearby restaurant 20 mins walk to Chinatown. Shampoo, conditioner and body not so good quality. After using their brand my hair got really dry, so better bring and use your own. Not so close to all public transportation although bus from Clark Quay stops in less than a block away.
Location great. Fish bowl swimming pool great. Too dark. Food terrible and expensive especially when there are hawkers markets and fine cuisine round’ the corner. DO NOT include breakfast with your stay.
Great boutique hotel”
Pros we’re value for money, friendly staff, great facilities, located on big bus route. The only con although minor was the size of the room however this was expected as we had already read other reviews before booking
Excellent - Helpful, courteous, patient staff and Clean Facility”
I can't say enough good about this hotel. For a reasonable price an excellent hotel to stay at. Staff go beyond their call of duty to help you. Just because they were so nice I wanted to prolong my stay here. The management and staff were always wiling to help. Very convenient location close to Chinatown and a reasonable distance from the airport. Thank you for making my stay comfortable and painless. Zohar
Good if you want to see the local side of Singapore”
First time staying here and first off, the bed is amazing...had such a good night sleep every night I was here!!! It is on the smaller side, but that is normal for Singapore and as a solo traveller, more then enough room. Great location if you love hawker food; Tiong Bahru markets is just around the corner and I got breakfast for under S$10 every day and the Tiong Bahru bakery is also worth checking out as well. Only issue is getting taxis from the “tourist areas” (like marina bay) to get back to this hotel...on more then one occasion, the taxi driver refused the fare because “it was the wrong direction”. There are buses that do stop outside the hotel and 2 train stations that are 10 minutes walk away, which are easy and cheap to use. I would stay here again without hesitation.
Good Hotel, Great Staff”
The hotel is good, not amazing but great value for money. The rooms are small (we had the smallest room with no window and it was perfect for us as no noise and total darkness to sleep in - we would definitely stay there again). The staff however are extremely well trained and cannot do enough for you - superb! Breakfast is OK but the same every day. It's OK to start you off but not very exciting. Would recommend staying here although skip the breakfast if there is an option to do so - eat at the food court across the road.
Great stay at a great location”
Our fourth visit and hotel is still as good as ever. Great location opposite the Market, lots of bus lines , friendly, helpful staff and quiet with many places to eat around the corner. Great value for the price.
will recommend to friends and family. staff was very accomodating and helpful. good location”
very convenient to go places as well as transport. helpful in recommending tours. above all, hotel staff are very very helpful and friendly. very patient to guide and teach us transport access to where we want to go. some nice murals around the area and a market place where there is good food.
Discover Tiong Bahru”
This is a quirky and quaint part of town to stay in, close to the financial district and with its own charming wet market and food court. There are lots of interesting little cafes, restaurants and an artisan beer place in the vicinity.
Friendly staff and lots of stalls for local food. Location not too far from airport and cruise terminal
Location is very good very near to Jonker Walk.very accessible,.Thanks to ZUL his very attentive / patience personality..
High cost of living in Spore and very expensive for such a budget hotel
