The Notburgaheim is a spiritual retreat in a quiet location on the edge of Maurach, a 5-minute drive from Lake Achen. It includes an infrared cabin and a terrace. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the Karwendel Mountains.
Run by the Congregation of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul in Innsbruck, the Notburgaheim Eben features a chapel with daily masses and prayer times. An in-house priest offers pastoral care. Lectures, meditation periods, and spiritual exercises are offered regularly.
The restaurant serves traditional Tyrolean cuisine, with half-board and full-board available. Half board either includes breakfast and a 3-course lunch or breakfast and a simple dinner. Drinks and coffee are provided throughout the day.
The simply furnished rooms feature a seating area and a bathroom. Free private parking is available on site.
A cross-country ski run and the stop of the free ski and local bus are right outside. The Rofan Ski Area is a 5-minute drive away.
