Everyone affiliated with the De Mandarin Hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a good way to start the day . the 8th floor roof top pool was a nice lounging area; however, they could some sunning lounge chairs. I spoke with the management about the chairs and it is being addressed. :-) It is a nice walk down to the beach road and very centrally located. Big C is a 2 floor shopping mall with an Awesome grocery store. Great Bread Bakery, Don't forget to have the staff help set up the Bolt app for transportation; Car or Scooter,

Good location. Beach is 2km away. Off from busy street so that it is quiet at nght. Downside is we had to ask for stuffs (slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste….) in the room which was not available at time of check-in. Breaskfast was basic, nothing special. Would not recommend to get it unless it is included with the room.

Nice stay at Nova Express Hotel”
This is a nice hotel on soi 9 just off pattaya 3rd.The standard room is nice clean and modern but a bit small.Nice big bathroom with a rain shower which i like.Wifi is not fast but works.Whats annoying is that theres no remote for the aircon,every hotel in pattaya has a remote so this needs to be fixed asap.The room gets really cold on its own accord.The staff are very nice and helpful.The rooftop pool is very nice with towels provided and the gym is small but private.The hotel provides a free shuttle service at fixed times.Theres a 7/11 and laundry beside the hotel.This hotel attracts rude indians , arabs and russians and there is constantly street dogs fighting and barking so if you need peace then this hotel is not for you.I stayed 3days here and moved to siam view hotel which is great.Have a good holiday everyone-stay safe!

Good value for money if you don't mind taking motorbike taxis to get around”
With respect to how little I paid for three nights ,the room was perfect 10 for a 22 m2 room , modern and it's bed very comfortable. ( The hot water did spike a bit ) Parking for my car provided at no cost- I left it there the ol' time. Very good breakfast buffet ( 250BHT). Noisy Chinese guests - yes ( during breakfast in my case - they can't speak , they have to shout ). This hotel does appear to attract guests on tours who have no clue about Pattaya - so its normal to find them there because its cheap. They 're noisy and take space everywhere they go so nothing to do with the hotel itself ( they re also at the Hilton nearby where I once stayed for 8,000Bht a night with my wife and we couldn't find a spot to lay down at the pool ). Not suitable for families with kids because its out of the way and best to move around with motorbike taxis , most of whom are dumb nuts so you must tell them to go slow ( pai cha cha ) coz you want to live today !).

Nova Express offers great value for money in that the rooms, whilst small. Are very clean and new and feature many amenities found in more expensive hotels such as coffee and tea making. A hairdryer. Free toiletries and a lovely bed. Easy chair and wardrobe, The swimming is on the roof and affords nice views over Pattzay and features a small gym and jacuzzi, The staff are very polite and helpful and the lobby area is quite attractive, The main issue is that the location is not great and it is a long walk to the beach or shops or night life, Breakfast was not included in the room and was a little expensive at 250 baht whereas a short walk away KTK offer a delicious breakfast for 179 baht,

I am stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during belarated Songkran festival and it's such a good hotel, clean and new.staffs perfromance is acceptable .I went to Swimming pool on rooftop I love it .Just one thing I missed I don't know the hotel have provided shutter bus so I spent alot of money for Motorcycle service .If I come back to Pattaya I will stay this hotel again .

Clean rooms, nice staff and overall good value given the price. Although location is not not a walking distance from Central Mall, walking street or Pattaya beach. May need taxi if you decide not to rent a motorbike.

Almost a nice hotel”
Its a nice place but... 1- Staff hardly understand English 2- Poor internet speed 3- Far away from beach I suggest to stay near Central Festival because everything such as beach, food and shopping is in easy reach. Howerer, I dont mean that Nova Express is a bad choice. Infact its much better than most of bangkok's hotels.

Decent place at a good price”
This place (like most of the other Nova hotels in the area) provides a good value for money. The room wasn't huge or the decor anything too exciting, but we got it for about 700 baht, and it's quite nice at that price range. Most places around that price are pretty old and could use an update, this place is pretty modern. The rooftop with the pool was quite nice too. It's a quick walk to third road, but getting to the beachfront is a bit of a ways. My only real complaints were: 1) The drain in our shower drained REALLY slowly, so the water would flow over the little lip that separated the shower from the rest of the bathroom and the entire bathroom floor would be wet. That could get kind of annoying since then your feet get wet any time you want to use the bathroom the rest of the day. Our friends didn't have this problem, but I was surprised that housekeeping didn't fix the problem after they saw the whole bathroom obviously being flooded. 2) The temperature in the shower was very temperamental. You could change it just a tiny bit and it would go from lukewarm to very hot. If you turned the pressure up, it would suddenly go scalding hot. You could get it to work, but you just had to play with it quite a bit. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but I'd stay here again at the 600-850 baht per night range. If you go up to 1,000 baht, I think you can get larger rooms in better locations.
