Nova Gold Hotel on Pattaya is located about 1.5 kms from the beach road but Grab taxis can take you there in 10 mins for 50-60 baht. The facilities like spacious quiet and clean rooms, excellent bath room with tub, and the service especially at the reception, make it worth staying a bit far from the beach. Its also walkable from restaurants and massage parlours. And 9-11. On the negatives, the jacuzzi wasnt working, May be it will be next time.
This hotel is a gem of an establishment in the clubbing neighbourhood off the Beach Road and Soi 2 areas. It has ample eating, clubbing and drinking areas nearby, but with a more gentrified feel. The room I got was clean and very comfortable, with fast wifi, strong shower and sufficient amenities. The hotel has a small pool area. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. Yes, I would return... good price in a nice area.

Loved the delux room with recliner sofa and bathtub along with seperate shower area. Nicely decorated rooms with huge balcony. Reasonable Food & transportation options available around. Hotel is located in Soi 4 which is a bit of a walk but in a cleaner and noise free area

“Okay stay, no real issues ”
A little far away from main beach road but didn’t mind walking. Room was okay, bed and pillows hard but that’s normal in Thailand. Shower good but first night there was no hot water, just warm. Little outside noise at night but AC covers most of it. Queried extending our stay but the reception lady was giving us very high price for lower room types, got too complicated so moved to a different hotel. Vacuuming of carpet in morning was loud and disturbed sleep. Pool nice but spa area is still cold water. Good early/late pool hours. Only one lift which wasn’t a problem. Had to move TV as it wasn’t in a central spot to the bed. Couldn’t control AC temp but was okay. Everything else okay, seemed clean. Think they clean with vinegar as that’s all I couldn’t smell at first.
