Can be okay, can be bad”

The major problem was that the bed, sheets, and pillows smelled musty. The kind of smell you get when a wet piece of clothing doesn't dry properly. Additionally, the AC was not cold enough. The morning after the first night my allergies were so bad we checked out early and went to another hotel. For the price Novilla is terrible value. Won't ever by staying there again.

I went there with my mother and family. My mother was sick there, the staff really helpful, when I need wheelchair for my mother they prepared very well. The kitchen staff really kind to keep my mother breakfast porridge and sent to our room until she ready to eat. Thank u for your kind services to us.

I and friends checked in very very late at 2.30 am since the minor problem on our arrival in Bangka. The receptionist staff was friendly answering my phone calls since 12 am asking the route to get to the hotel (not much direction marks to the hotel on the road sides, even GPS didn't help much) thus, I highly appreciate his kindness. The rooms (deluxe and superior) were clean and tidy. Only minus on electricity port (only 1 available each room). Only took 15 minutes to get to the popular beaches in town. Close to the town center. Else, everything went smooth till the day we checked out.

No mat to dry your feet, no hand napkin, no hand soap (to wash your hands, you must take the body liquid soap from the dispenser inside the bathroom chamber), the water closet in my room flushed by itself every hour or so (spooky lol). My friend's room had a stinky bathroom - poor him. Very standard and awful taste for breakfast (this is an irony considering the owner of the hotel was the 2nd winner of Master Chef Indonesia), dirty plates and cups. But the coffee was very GOOD! The hotel has a fish pool and lake. There are some gazebos along the lake and in every gazebo there is direct access to the lake (a hole on the floor) where you can lift up/bring down a fishing net by pulling up/down a gear. So when some poor fish are trapped on the net when it is being pulled up, you can take the fish and put them in a fish tank inside each gazebo. I think it is an ANIMAL CRUELTY because I can see that the fish inside the fish tank were all under stress, the water filter doesn't work, dirty water and it seems that the hotel doesn't feed nor take care of the caught fish put in the tank by heartless visitors (fyi we released some fish back to the pool after trying to catch them from the tank by our bare hands..) Soo sad.. :( Apart from all bad experience there, I really appreciate the honesty of the hotel staff. My husband forgot his jeans hung inside the cupboard, we found out the next day after moving to another hotel. When we called and explained about this to the receptionist, she said that the we could take the jeans anytime and my husband got his jeans back. Thank you :)

Quite average. Not so friendly staff. Cleanliness need to be given more attention also. The worst thing was the breakfast quality .. We have to fight through the crowd in order to secure our portions ..

When I arrived to this hotel about 10:45pm, the front office staff is just about to leave, and said I was lucky that she still not leave otherwise nobody will check me in. After she handed me the key, then she just leave and I have to looking for my room which is a bit creepy as this hotel is big and very quite as only 3 cars parked outside. Breakfast is nothing (eventhough the lady said there will be only fried rice served), but when I came to restaurant at about 7:30am, nobody there and no food is served.
