Beautiful property, excellent hospitality”
Novotel Bogor is a very nice hotel for family with numerous facilities and activities, especially for kids. Our room was upgraded to Deluxe (thanks to Nuni!), and although the rooms were not as modern as expected by lots of people (I don’t think we would find the room at this size and price at newer properties), we found our unit to be clean and comfortable, equipped with the amenities we needed. We loved to hang out on the cozy daybeds or cabanas by the swimming pool. The pool was not really big, but it wasn’t crowded so we had no problem with that. They were undergoing some renovations, so we are excited to see a new face of Novotel Bogor on our next visit, and we certainly hope that this hotel would always maintain their excellent hospitality.

Cozy hotel with lush green area, but need to improve the cleanliness”
Booked 2 Deluxe rooms for 2 nights in April 2019 and stayed with family. Reception staff was helpful upon checked in and we just had to wait for awhile when waiting for our rooms to be ready and they gave us welcome drinks, which was nice. Housekeeping staffs cleaned our rooms while we were having breakfast and were happy to get back to our clean room afterwards. Few downside during our stay : there were plenty ants in the rooms, including our beds. It's very annoying and disappointing to sleep in bed with ants everywhere. And we couldn't leave our food on the table since the ants immediately attacked our food, until we had to wrap our food with plastic bags and kept them in our bags! They are doing renovation in the lobby area which affects the parking area were pushed farther away and we had to walk on the mud to get our car or go back to lobby after parking. Some food display table during breakfast were mostly unattended, and there were birds eating the bread on the display table.

Value for money plus great program for kids. The superb customer service of the staff made this a pleasant stay, depicting Sundanese food and culture with modern amenities. Although the facilities are old, the provincial atmosphere and greenery more than make up for it.

Golf group trip”
Rooms a bit old but are sizable. Great staff and service. Good breakfast. I love the gardens and views of the whole surroundings. A bit of an issue with aircons not being cold too, but they moved us anyway to another that was just slightly better. This is an issue especially being in a tropical country, I hope this gets fixed sooner than later because this is the 2nd time I've stayed here.

Beautiful Cultural Hotel with golf course! ”

Great Customer Service”
I was there about 4 years back. Liked the serene and quiet surroundings of the hotel. In the evenings with the lighting, the hotel is simply Beautiful. If you want a peaceful place to rest and relax with your love ones, you should not give this place a miss. I was a little disappointed as the fixtures were getting old. The place needed an upgrade. Good news is upgrade is progressively planned. What impressed me most was the customer service. It was top notch. From the point of arrival when your luggages get removed from the trunk of your car till the time you get introduced to your room, you will be greeted with polite, smiling and courteous staff. At breakfast, I was greeted by Dede, a guest relations officer, who had wanted to find out if I was happy with the hotel and the food. All I can say is that, the team took my feedback very seriously. Within an hour, I have the Assistant Front manager, Mr. Beri approaching me on my feedback. Their service recovery is world class. A***********

It was in the middle of wet season in Indonesia that plenty of mosquito and bugs are all around hotel. Kids were so happy with pool and nature friendly yard but need to make sure the bug control. I've been here several times that means still one of the best place to trip with family in Bogor and very close to golf course. It is servicing cart ride to course takes about 1-2 mins.

Old building, bit worry it will be dusty, appareantly it is not. Room was big, clean & comfy. My kids really love this hotel. Free ride for horse, feeding rabbit, kids club. Pool was okay. Staff was excelent. Thank you Novotel.

Old hotel with minimum maintenance”
Hotel is old, in room facilities are also old and the management seems dont care if they are either broken, dirty, rusty or not functioning as expected. Mineral water is only 2 bottles/day, Swimming pool area is small, kids club room is a mess and not clean with dirty floor. The only good thing is the open area is bih with free horse riding. Unfortunately when we came, the area was used for corporate team building which was very loud and disturbing, hence we decided to check out earlier. Oh....the restaurant foods variety was ok but the taste are too salty. Overall it was bad stay for us compare to our last stay in 2013.

Good property nice room and facilities. Tje only cons that really bother me was their Check in time is set at 14:00-hrs and check out time at 11:30-hrs. Not fair to me paying 2.1mil for a room that I can only use for less than 24 hours

Felt abit secluded and place was quite when we were there.. They were going through renovation so could not feel the ambience of Novotel.

Nice place for short getaway”
lovely hotel to stay. staffs are firendly and helpfull. due to high season check in process a little bit late, it took around 1 hour to complete the room. room is spacious, clean and tidy. there is some ants in our bath room but only a small number.

Novotel bogor sangat family friendly.. ada kids corner and kids activities. Tamannya luas, enak utk jalan2 pagi atau sore Tetapi, kebersihan kamarnya kurang. Di sudut2 perabotan masih byk debu, di bawah meja ada sarang laba2 besar. Dan ada kecoa di kamar, mgkn masuk dari taman krn saya memang booking kamar yg garden view. Kamarnya cukup besar dgn sofa besar utk tidur 1 org dewasa.

Pros: Love the environtment and design. Its so natural-icious Love the room, quite spacious. Bed is clean Pillows are comfortable Love the outdoor bathub. They allow me ask additional bath salt Love the amenities Love the breakfast Cons: - We put the "dont disturb" sign, but the room was made up when we go out looking for lunch. Maybe some miscomm or lack briefing for the staff - the bed a bit hard for me - the swimming pool for adult too narrow

The room is old but the facilities are good. The room was sprayed with cologne to mask off the smoke smell from the bathroom (the people who stayed in there the night before smoked in the bathroom) The facilities as I said was great, pool was long, gym was open 24 hours, there's a ping pong table, spa is fantastic.

Excellent retreat hotel for meetings or contemplation”
Set among lush vegetation this upland hotel in Balinese style provides a cool and quiet place for reflection or meetings. I like it, the food is fine and the staff are very considerate. The downsides are that you have to travel 10 minutes by taxi (which need to be ordered in advance) to get out, including to any but the two hotel restaurants, and the air conditioning temperature is hard to control .

Good location as (without traffic) only 1 hr away from Jakarta. Garden& pool is beautiful. Theres free horse ride (weekend/holiday only) Room is ok, but shower doesnt have door only curtain, tho poor soundproofing, thank goodness it wasnt v busy when we went there. Dining is too expensive (cost like 5stars hotel) breakfast 150tho but poor value. Lunch by the pool took 30 mins just for nasi goreng. I must say v saddening about the meal situation.
