Very noisy”

A hotel organized party by the pool made the room very noisy. Hotel staff said it will continue close to midnight, and didn’t offer any resolution. I checked out and left the hotel after few hours of the stay

Oasis In The Desert”

among the few hotels in 6th of october, novotel is relatively inexpensive yet it location is superior in comparison. 15 min walk to mall of arabia & 10 min away from local shops if you want a true egyptian buying experience. as will most hotels there, internet cost a lot. about daily. you can bring you laptop to the lobby if you want free wifi though. the free breakfast is good. again, i am comparing with other hotels in egypt. there is a wide selection of bread and fruits. lesser on meat products. i would always get the chef to fry me an egg. the rooms are slidely small. this makes it manageble for business travellers like me. remember to lock your balcony door before leaving the room as the balcony are common to a few.

Good location near mall”

I requested for a hotel taxi to be there when I arrive at the Cairo airport. THey confirmed, but when i arrived, there was no one waiting. I waited for 1 hour, called the hotel, and they said it will arrive in 5 minutes. I again waited for another 30 minutes before giving up, and taking another cab. When I reached the hotel, they did not even ask about the cab, and no apology on their part. I would say that only stay here if you want to do business near October city. Breakfast was included in my deal, but it is exactly the same each day of the week. gets boring after a while.

Overpriced ”

The hotel is overpriced. Yet below all the expectations. You have to order many things becuase many amenities are not provided unless you ask. No toothbrush, no small towels. Service is slow. In addition. The hotel is 1 hour far from cairo city center. For the same price you can stay in 5 star hotel near the Nile river in Cairo

The reception is unsatisfactory”

I arrived at the hotel at 1:00 pm and informed me that I had to wait until 2:00 pm They told me that your reservation was a room overlooking the city and we would make a reservation overlooking the pool. I know that all the views on the pool They gave me another room in the second floor and I was not comfortable in this room

a bit remote from the city but that kept us away from the traffic and noise and pollution. insolent wait staff in restaurant

Buon Hotel”

Vado da anni al Novotel &th October per motivi di lavoro e mi sono sempre trovato molto bene. Tutta la struttura è in ottimo stato, la piscina esterna è l'ideale per rilassarsi dopo una lunga giornata di lavoro. Il ristorante ha un buon bouffet anche se i piatti proposti variano raramente. Il personale di sevizio parla un buon Inglese ed è sempre premuroso nei confronti degli ospiti. La posizione è ideale perchè la struttura è lontana dal Cairo e nelle vicinanze c'è praticamente tutto. il Mall Arabia si trova a 200 metri ed è un centro commerciale nuovissimo ed enorme. Hotel consigliato.

فندق مخيب للآمال”

1- التأخير لمدة 3 ساعات في الدخول للغرفة حيث لم ادخل الا الساعة 5 مساءا في ظل لا مبالاة من موظف الاستقبال و علمت ان الموظف الذي أعطاني مفتاح الغرفة لم يكن يعلم أصلاً انني انتظر بسبب ان الموظف الذي استقبلني لم يعرني انتباه ربما بشكل مقصود او بشكل غير مقصود 2- قدم الفوط في الحمام 3- بعد الفندق عن المواقع السياحية 4- ازدحام شديد على حوض السباحة و علمت من احد الموجودين ان اغلب الموجودين بالحوض غير نزلاء بالفندق اصلا و انهم قد حضروا بسبب ان احد العاملين بالفندق قام بإدخالهم . 5-لا يوجد من يحمل الحقائب 6- المطاعم الخاصة بالفندق غالية جداً مقارنه بالمحتوى الفقير 7- عند طلبي من المطاعم الخارجية لا يسمح لسائق المطعم الدخول من البوابة الخارجية مما يضطر النزيل للخروج للبوابة لاستلام الطعام 8- لا يوجد خدمة إرشادية او لمساعدة السياح في اي شيء فمثلا مكتوب لوحة عند الباب انه يمكن طلب تاكسي منهم و لكن لا يوجد احد من الموظفين عندها مما يضطرني للمشي لمسافة ربع ساعة للوصول للشارع الرئيسي للبحث عن تاكسي 9- باب الغرفة غير عازل للصوت و تسمع من يمشي في الممر خارج الغرفة و ازعاج من الموظفين صباحا

موقع الفندق جميل بجوار مول العرب والفطور والمسبح رائع والموضفين رائعين كل طلباتنا تنفذ بسرعه
