Cozy modern hotel on Broadway
Great place for very secure entry and proximity to busy Broadway. Was one block from the theatre where I saw Fiddler on the Roof!

perfect location for a four night stay.
Location close to Time Square. Walking distance to many attractions. Bar and dining has a great view of Time Square
The Hotel was still undergoing renovations. The entry was quardened off. The deck was not closed for renovations. The rooms did not have tea and coffee facilities and the bathrooms did not have hanging for towels. The foyer was very space age looking which I felt created an odd feeling, hard to judge till the renos have been completed. Otherwise we we loved the location as we could walk everywhere and it seemed to be relatively safe. We would certainly concider staying there again if the opportunity arrose.

Great location but lacking in amenities
Great location, good value
We stayed in Novotel New York Times Square for 6 nights in January. Being about 5 blocks from Times Square, location was great. There were also good food options nearby with diners and restaurants just beside the hotel or a couple streets away. The hotel was under some renovation when we were there, but there was little or no disturbance to us other than a couple of mornings when the water mains was shut off for a short time. As for the room, it was small and minimally furnished, but quite adequate as a business hotel room. However, there was no kettle to boil water, which I found quite odd. Of course, with no kettle, no tea or coffee was provided either.

Novotel New York Times Sqaure
Location, cleanliness, large rooms
Rooms are basic, no help with baggage
This hotel is ideal for families of tourists. The rooms are large with the basic necessities. However, don't expect help with baggage. The staff are very efficient with their designated jobs, but don't expect them to go further than that. This, does not make for an unpleasant stay at all

New York Novotel
location, comfortable bedrooms, accomodating front desk staff
uncaring waiters and servers at breakfast buffet. no room complementary water or coffee
the location of the hotel is its main selling point especially if your purpose is to see broadway plays. walking distance to bus stations, and surrounded by restaurants and most of all the Times square which is the place to be in Manhattan. the rooms are orderly with comfortable beds where you could retire and get a good nights rest after a whole days tour and activity
