It was our short New Years' vacation in Queenstown. Novotel lakeside hotel is one of the hotels that immediately attracts attention. Perfect location, comfort, and high level of service. The staff is very smiling, helpful and understanding everything perfectly. Special thanks to the guys at the reception for their understanding and help of non-standard requests at this unusual time for NZ. They are always ready to go the extra mile to help. Comfortable bed, perfect cleanliness, convenient parking, and delicious barista coffee. We felt incredibly comfortable during our entire stay. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back. Guys, you are the best!

Great Value on a Fantastic location”
I recommend This hotel because of its location and the facilities as well. We booked on a King room with Garden view and was surprised that its more than I expected. Furnitures is acceptable to my standard and have a good ac unit that is running (we went Dec 16-18 so it’s summertime). Staffs are very warm and helpful up to the valet parking man. I am happy and did not regret in staying here. Would going to stay here again when we come back Queenstown (tip: should book higher floor for better view)

Great location in Queenstown, the town is 1-minute's walk and the courtyard opens up to the Queenstown beach and trail so it was easy to go for morning walks/runs. Staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and beats out some 5-star hotels! We rented a car and the hotel provides 24hr valet parking for a fee, we found this to be very convenient. We would definitely stay here again!

It is by far the best hotel location I've ever booked in my life. The lake wast just outside the hotel. The view is picturesque. Very near everything that you need to enjoy Queenstown. Staff were all friendly. Breakfast was simple but nice.

this hotel is suitable for family with small kids and esp seniors too. its very close to shops and has a lift. it may not be new but so far this is the top hotel that we have been to due to location and accessibility - and we have been to 4 accommodations in total.

Comfortable and modern room. We were on level 1 facing the lake, we enjoyed just sitting outside the room to soak in the beautiful scenery. Great for the kids as there is a nice playground nearby.

Pros: Excellent location, so very close to all hot spots in Queenstown. Well priced. Nice customer service. Cons: Slightly worn out rooms. Small drinking water bottle from mini bar cost $6.50, it should be complimentary. Would stay there again because of location and service.

Despite the restaurant being closed the whole four days we stayed for dinner the location is so great there are a dozen restaurants within a five minute walk Cannot praise the duty managers enough I lost a $3000 watch in my room and they found it and had it couriered to me within two days Fantastic service great location

Location, location, location”
If you like being close to the center of town, where you walk out of the lobby and right into the festivities, then this hotel can't be beat. We came here for our honeymoon, and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The best part about Queenstown for us is walking around town and going jogging lakeside, and Novotel was the perfect location from which to do both. The room itself wasn't especially fancy or spacious, but good enough since we spent most of our time out and about.
