Hotel in a strategic location”
This hotel has a strategic location close to the main road of Slamet Riyadi with convenient parking space. I always stay in Novotel when have family or business matters in Solo. It's clean, staff is attentive, the price is reasonable. The breakfast also offers quite complete Indonesian food from nasi goreng (cooked in place based on order), bubur ayam, soto and others. Will happy to recommend colleagues to stay here

I was staying at this place for 3 nights. Though I have requested a non-smoker room, unfortunately the room available at the moment was a smoker one. I was a bit hesitant, but the staff assure me that the room would not be smelly. They were right. Everything went good, until at 2 am during my first night, the AC pipe burst and flooded my room! Thank God, the maintenance staff could repair it perfectly. But still... this should not be happened. The food was good, though more varieties would be appreciated. If I visit Solo again, I will consider back in this hotel.

Nice hotel, limited breakfast during COVID-19”
Nice hotel, if you're traveling with children it's good to get the twin beds and then push them together, since it's a lot wider than the 1 bed. During Covid-19, the rooms are not cleaned daily, the pool and playground are closed, and breakfast is delivered. The breakfast options are very limited. I would say it's better to Go-Food or Grab-Food something and bring some plates and spoons. I was on a business trip, but brought my kids. There wasn't much to do or see because we had to stay in our rooms. The Paragon Mall is only 5 minutes away (no children allowed, right now, for health purposes). Close to the city center... great location. Overall good.

The room is big and I bought from Agoda and cheaper. We booked 2 rooms. It's old hotel but clean and good location. The room wasn't use carpet so it's good. It won't smell bad.

Hotel's location inside city center, near to every visit place in Solo. Hotel have wheelchair access to every area : dropoff area, lobby, room and restaurant. Staffs hotel hopitality was great and responsible. Novotel and Ibis have the same car access area, parking area for Novotel was outdoor, and parking area for Ibis was indoor (basement under Ibis Hotel). Breakfast menu were variant with international and local menu, children under 16 years old got free breakfast. The facilities of swimming pool and fitness center were in the same place, for guest stayed in Novotel and Ibis.
