It was great being close to Old Town and a 15-minute walk from where the free shuttle to VinWonders is located. I enjoyed walking around the streets. There was a self-service laundry on the second floor, and we were allowed to use the microwave. The bedding was clean, and it was better than the Da Nang accommodation we stayed at for 2 nights, which cost around 170,000 won. The laundry service was also fast, which was great. There were hardly any Koreans, so you don't have to worry about any preconceptions about it being a hostel. I recommend it! It's a great value for money, especially if you're on a budget.

The location could not be better. It’s close to the centre of the old town, but not so close that you are disturbed by hordes of tourists. The staff are incredibly efficient and friendly. If you drop off your laundry and go out for the day, when you come back, somebody will appear out of nowhere and give your laundry back to you, even though you’ve never met that person before. They seem to make it their business to know who is staying here and what they need at all times. If you find yourself out into the later hours of the evening, you can always get back in because there is a staff member who sleeps in the lobby. Likewise, if you need to get out early in the morning, he can let you out of the gate. The room was really spacious, the bathroom spotless and the beds and pillows comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the little swimming pool with its kitsch charm.

We had no idea what to expect from a homestay but staying here was a great decision. The staff were nice, rooms were clean, recommendations were provided with little upsell pressure, and the location is perfect. Plus, the pool was a bonus for the kiddos. If you’re staying in Hoi An, I recommend staying on the outskirts of the ancient city where the cars are still allowed at night. Everything is still within a 10 minute walk but you don’t have to deal with all the tourist traffic and noise. We will definitely recommend Nu Ni to our friends for any future visits.
Room Is Good But Don't Use Extra Services”
Booked a room with a king size bed & got checked into a room that only had a queen bed. Room was clean. Pool was nice and cold. Host was very friendly when we first checked in but was a bit overly informative with all of the tours etc that they could arrange. We booked transport with them to our next city 3 hours away & it ended up being a bait and switch. We paid for a van for 6 people with lots of luggage. After we had checked out and were standing on the sidewalk a regular sized car showed up. There was absolutely no way we were all going to fit with our stuff. After the 2 back seats got put down to fit the luggage there was only space for 4 passengers. Got into an argument with the host because she claimed we booked a car but we 100% booked a van because we were aware that we had a lot of luggage. After standing in the boiling sun for 30 mins we ended up having to pay for 2 cars at double the price. Horrible way to end the stay & it kind of ruined our experience with them.

Definitely I’ll be back to Nu Ni next time in Hoi An. My room is super clean (cleaner than another homestay I booked in Hoi An despite being cheaper). The lady Dieu gave me suggestions for where to eat and most of them are great (except for bami Madame Khanh, maybe it’s just me because I see lots of people come to Madame Khanh). One thing to note is that I tempted to book the room with balcony but as a solo traveler, no need for such thing.
