The receptionists don't speak English”
It was a whole adventure (and not a one that we were looking for). We just wanted to get some assistance with getting a taxi to the Red Lotus Lake and back (which is the main reason people stay there, I guess). The receptionists did not speak English at all, and besides, could not help us with ordering a taxi at 19.00 for tomorrow morning (5.00 am). Moreover, it was always nobody on the reception - we literally waited from 15.00 to 15.20 and then from 16.00 to 16.20. After, when we were lucky enough to catch somebody, for our request they gave us a taxi number. When I asked, whether the taxi speak English, they said no. What is the point then in giving us their number? Finally, they said to come back at the morning and that they would call us a taxi only then. Is it worth mentioning, that at 5.00 am their taxi was not working? That is why people usually order it in advance. We were lucky to book a Grab and asked the driver to wait for us and bring us back. But I though that hotel staff should be able to help with issues like that. As towards the room itself, the refrigerator was leaking, and dogs were howling all night long, while noise isolation is zero. Would not recommend for a long stay.

I stayed here for 3 nights, booked 4 nights but left early due to no Internet access. I reported it to reception and was just told she'd informed the Internet company about 1 month before and I told her that didnt help me. Cleaners were noisy every morning starting around 0745. Generally the room was clean but dated. Good cable TV although no English speaking. About 1.5 km to UD Town. Space for about 10 cars to park. No kettle, tea or coffee in the room. Adequate for the price.
