Good stopover for merang jetty”
The staff at Merang Inn were awesome. They treated us very well and ensured that we were very well looked after. Very helpful and friendly staff. The place itself is not bad for what you pay. comfortable bed and clean room/toilet. Its close to the beach and jetty as well. Got quite scary at night as we were the only visitors there but thankfully there was no disturbance.

Simple and suitable for 1 night stay”
Value for money, and the location is good, just around 10 minutes walked from Merang Jetty. Staff and services is ok, but don't expect too much on facilities. They can lend me a motorcycle for lunch and buying staff nearby Merang Village. The only I complaint are the toilet no shower heater, toilet cleanliness is fair, no TV, poor Wifi, no refill for my water bottle and the room smell of paint.

We choose to stay here as it is nearby to the Merang Jetty. Only 3 minutes away. For a one night stay, the facilities here is good enough for us. The owner is really friendly. Thank you for the stay. 😊

One night stay”
If you only want a place 'just for one night stay', this is a good place. Don't expect full fledged resort facilities. The room is kind have a kampung feel which is good to me. I can sleep nicely and can walk and see the surrounding nature as well. Another important thing is make sure you have a 'bring your own things' mindset and it is a good idea to lower your expectation a bit. May not suitable for family stay in my opinion.

Arrived at 11pm and stayed a night before catching the ferry to Lang Tengah. Clean and spacious for the price, just that it was really musty-smelling being a wooden hut but quite insect-free. There was no hot water shower though. So cool we slept without the a/c.

Near beach”
Good staff but have to double check booking before coming in, in my case the staff cannot find my booking. Lucky i was there on Thursday so there are room still available.

Lack of e-hailing service”
We need to walk to the jetty because there was no maxim or grab. The cleanliness was just fine. There was no cafe inside the chalet so we need to walk around 500 m to find food. Luckily, there was a burger stall located nearby for us to have dinner. In front of the chalet, there is mini waterpark, and beach near to that. It is just you need to WALK again. Overall, the receptionist was very kindddd, she even let us to stay in the office while we were waiting for our driver.

staff is nice, i arrived there late at night around 1130pm. the staff are waiting me there. no got water available. room smell rotten... another group of my friend refuse to stay in the room and they prefer to sleep in the car... value for money.

Close to the beach”
Very basic. A bit over priced. Staff was not very helpful. Had to ask them for towels, etc. Room was not ready even at 4.30pm!
