Good place”
Rooms acceptable for groups or couple. So far from the village if you need something (10 min by car). No good for food. Only the fried bananas from chaïma. Chaïma and her husband very kind people.

NUSA Simply Great”
We had a good Christmas holiday at Nusa. Simple and traditional Malay village concept resort located next to Templing River. Blissful and awakening place and the Management really need to work out on the infra. The address given by the sales team is their old office address which is located in Jerantut and we took 1/2 hours to find the actual address. The customer service out of the first water. Friendly and helpful staff. The food quite cheap compared to other places in Kuala Tahan. The food wasn't bad, but need some improvements. The overall experience with Nusa was good and will recommend for those who are looking for new experience.

Nice place in the middle of nature”
The place is nice although is at 15 minutes by boat/car from the park entrance. The staff is very familiar, specially Saiful. We did a night jungle trekking with him and it was amazing!

Location,jungle
When we arrived at the town there was no one to take us to Nusa and no one seemed to know what to do. Finally a travel agent called Nusa and complained that our problem was common -- he said that he often had to call Nusa. We were told that someone would arrive in ten minutes -- and after an hour someone arrived. Then we found that we would have to pay extra fees or taxes to get a room -- but what could we fo? The air conditioner in our hut did not function properly -- while we had supper, it soaked our mattresses with water. It had no thermostat and during the night, our room became too cold. We turned off the air conditioner and turned on the fan but the fan could not be adjusted and the wind was too powerful for sleeping. We turned off the fan and the room became too hot. We endured this room for two nights with little sleep. We spent two nights in another room but the that room's air conditioner also had no thermostat and sleeping was difficult. We experienced many other problems with staff, restaurant, broken fixtures in the room -- making our stay at Nusa an ordeal. We were charged an extra tax or fee beyond our reservation amount and also a fee for transportation by boat to the park -- Nusa is an extremely bad value. We stayed for two more nights in a chalet in town for far less and had a really good experience. Hiking in the park is great!

Perfectly fitting in the jungle surroundings!”
Staff hospitality, location, not yielding to demands of high end tourists (stay genuine!)
Excellent days had. Staff does all to make you feel at home and facilitate trips you want to do. Small kitchen but excellent quality of cooking! A place to come to rest, to really feel the jungle, and to stay longer!

Beautiful Resort 15 Minutes from Tourist Hotspots”
Location, Friendly Service, Jingle Experience
We had a great experience in the jungle. The place was clean and its location excellent compared to the main entrance to the park with its tourist only village. The rooms offer all you need and was clean. At night you could experience the jungle and all its sounds. Really enjoyed the stay and would go again.

Friendly staff but smell in the bathroom”
Beautiful view and Nice staff
We had a good stay in Nusa, the river view is amazing... But the bathroom was smelly. Good food but not so much choice because it was low season. To conclude, it is a bit pricy for what it is..!

Great jungle getaway”
Location, setting and value.
Our family of 5 loved the remote location for a true jungle getaway. Although the staff spoke limited English, this was not a barrier for us as I speak Bahasa Malaysia. The new manager, Yousef, was most helpful and speaks impeccable English.

Back to nature”
1. Remote location 20 minutes upriver by boat. 2. Magnificent views across the Tembeling River and towering rainforest. 3. Friendly personal service from the manager and guide
We booked a riverside view chalet which was exactly that - fantastic views across the river to pristine forest. The room was simple but clean, with aircon (hardly needed), fan and some warm water. Spacious double bed and we had a mattress on the floor for the kids. No mosquitoes here, but further away from the riverside there were quite a few. Food was OK (nasi lemak, pancakes, toast, sausages, etc for breakfast) but we tired quickly of the limited menu. Their guide Aja was excellent and gave us an interesting and easy nightwalk that the kids enjoyed. Shooting the rapids on the boats was a lot of fun and orang asli village interesting but far too many tourists there (including ourselves of course). Wildlife is there but hard to see - Rhino Hornbills, several troupes of gibbons calling, etc. Main negative for me (no fault of the resort) was the road development cutting through forest behind the resort. I cannot believe how blind and ignorant the Pahang State Government has been in doing this development in the Taman Negara buffer zone and one of the country's key international tourism destinations, fragmenting key habitat and silting the river.

Very quiet, but quite remote”
Location - peaceful (10mins by boat from Kuala Tahan), nice view, in the jungle
We went there in early April and there was only 1 other guest apart from us - had we known that, we wouldn´t have booked it in advance. We had a river view challet and it was nice but the river is really loud which might be a problem for those who need quiet at night. There´s also a lot of noice from the jungle (monkeys, birds, etc.) The location is nicer than if you are staying in Kuala Tahan (except for Mutiara, of course) but it´s quite complicated to get there. You have to take the boat bus which goes about 4times a day (if you want to go at a different time, you have to pay about 30-50RM). The earliest is at about 8am and the last at about 6pm. So if you need to leave early in the morning (like us) or are arriving after 6pm, it is quite a problem (especialy in the morning). We needed to catch a bus leaving Jerantut at 8.30am and we had to leave the evening before as it wouldn´t have been possible to get to Jerantut in time to catch the 8.30 bus (this applies to Kuala Tahan in general, the earliest bus leaves Kuala Tahan at 8am and the journey to Jerantut takes about an hour).

none
Staff was just ok. Everything else was lousy. Shower didn't work at all so we have used the toilet shower instead. Rooms were just waiting to be buried down and aince there is a job site (new road) behind the "resort" this day will come soon. We got recommendations about trip to do - it ended up to be a try to make me a fool. Been promised a 15 minutes ride on a boat. After 3 minutes they dropped us at the most boring village and asked way too much for it. When I said we're leaving the lousy place they said they won't charge us.
