A Brooklyn Treasure”

Easily among the very few outstanding hostels in NYC -- a four story elevator building in Brooklyn's vibrant artists loft community with easy commute to wherever -- especially Manhattan! Exceptional for space, sunlight & comfort. High ceiling'd uncrowded rooms, hotel-style 12" mattresses, en-suite bathrooms, two large inviting lounge & play spaces, free computer access at huge desks, all of it managed by highly personable front office team and well-maintained by gracious housekeeping staff. Owner, Adam, is an ace. Highly recommend!

Hipster Central, It's Great.”

Big building with plenty of amenities . Walking distance to train station and great food. In the heart of Brooklyn and staffed by fun people with good recommendations for bars and things to do. Beds were standard hostel beds but my room was a dorm with plenty of space and lockers to use. They offered a kitchen to use and in a nice chill/lounge area.

Best option to stay in NY”

NY Moore is my best option to stay when I'm visiting NY. Affordable price, located not far from Subway station and I like the beds setting (no bunk beds so I don't need to climb up haha) Last but not least, the staff are super friendly and very accommodating especially Adam. I'd defo stay again when I'm in NY.

Thanks to the advise of an assistant I managed to finally find my accommodation online. The place is quiet, with 2 living rooms which are almost empty or empty and perfect to make some contacts and calls. Nice living rooms, free bag storage, free coffee

Nice and spacious rooms with beautiful art walls. ”

Spacious, clean and unique rooms. Definitely worth the money. People from reception were also friendly and cool except for one girl. I locked and the key got stucked and I can't open the door.Called the attention of the receptionist and she was putting the blame on me and insisting that its hard to have the handyman since its past 7pm. Like girl it's not on me that you have faulty doors and you're putting more stress on your customers which is the opposite of what should you be doing. Good thing another girl from the reception came in and was more helpful and friendly.

Pro: Big dorm room with individual bed. Ensuit shower & toilet. Comfy bed bed. Clean room. Comfortable comunal area with tv, books, and boardgame. Free tea, coffee, and filtered water. There's a kitchen with cooking ware. Nice and friendly staffs. Daily information about what to do in NY/Brooklyn. Easy access to 2 metro stations. Within walking distance to supermarket and some restaurants. Con: Location! Bit far from NYC main attractions (but still easy to access with metro L/M/J within 20s min). The neighborhood is not so lovely, but still safe and relatively quiet.

Street Art Museum ”

Provided the other guests are not burdensome or annoying, this hostel literally has the best facilities of any I have seen in my trawls through NYC. It's a bit of a challenge to get to/fro off the L line, and sits right next to a swatch of public housing and sketchy backroads, but on the whole - if you can get in here - it's worth it and decked to the 9s with graffiti-muraled walls, almost like a street art museum. 10/10 on everything except public transport accessibility.

Great place on a budget”

The staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas were inviting and comfortable. The area outside is a little on the “industrial” side and there are trucks moving up and down the street in the morning.

Great place to stay, however subway and buses are a little ways from the hostel, still it was pleasant to see that part of Brooklyn. I was comfortable using their big clean kitchen facilities, ensuite bathroom with great shower and overall the staff members were very accommodating. I would stay there again in a heart beat. Laundry is a block away.
