“Decent and quiet hostel”
Visited in Jan 2025 with a friend and we booked a private room with two single beds. Room was honestly too small for both of us, we had to open our medium size luggages on the bed and it was a squeeze. The walking space in the room was just wide enough for one person to walk through, or 2 persons back to back. Might be more suited for those with small luggage or backpackers, or perhaps consider booking a larger room. The place was very quiet, room was not very soundproof as we could hear whenever people walked past outside. It was not busy during our stay so noise was not an issue. The bed was comfortable and not hard. The common bathroom and toilets were extremely clean and tidy, hairdryers were avaliable in the ladies shower room. They had hot water for the showers and there were 4 shower cubicles available. Bath towel, hand towel, drinking water, a plastic cup and disposable toothbrush was provided. There is a sink with mirror and hand soap, a box of face tissues and a TV in the room. The public lounge and pantry area was spacious with charging plugs, glad to have a space to pack my luggage, have a snack and write my postcards. Saw a fridge, sink and water dispenser, washing machine but did not use these facilities.
