Excellent Staff and Hotel with a View”
Hotel is good and certainly live upto your expectation Food is expensive especially break fast with very limited option for India Veg Tourist. We have 2 rooms, in 1 room there was some problem with washroom shower, as it was not fix to wall, we check in at 8 in evening as we head directly from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya, thus it was 5 hrs drive. We slept just after dinner, next morning when we checked shower is not Ok,we informed hotel staff, and we went to check places near nuwara eliya. When we returned back senior staff told initially that it is our fault and we broke the shower cap then we convinced them that we did not broke later they said ok. Only this was bitter experience, rest all was OK and upto the mark. Regards Shivam

Fantastic service”
The staff have been fantastic. They went out of their way to accommodate your needs. My car had a puncture and the security guard informed me and helped me to change the tyre. He said he has finished his shift but wanted to tell me before he leave. We have been late for buffet breakfast after a late night dinner and they brought breakfast to our room upon request. Overall great experience and fantastic service. Will stay at the hotel again.

Pathetic hotels and cheaters - dont even think”
Please note the pointe below before booking this hotel - 1 Is a room supposed to have dripping floor carpet where even if you step with socks, you socks or anything touching the carpet will immediatley become wet. 2. Is a room supposed to have a leaking bathroom stinking and water dripping as you sit on the "box" 3.Is a room supposed to have kersoene oil kind of smell coming throught out from God knows where and on asking the recepting to do something about it , given room freshner in form of cakes, not even a spray 4. Lastly, I never know that rooms are supposed to have bathrooms as small as one cant even stand staright forget about taking shower Our original room was cancelled with villa accia three days before travel. There were no reviews of this hotel and as there was not time, we had to choose this. So this is a warning to all, this place looks good from outside but they are big time cheaters and they cant manage a single thig except politley telling sorry every time.

Rooms are very clean. But very small. They didn't provide me the room which I have booked. Front office operator very unpleasant and unfriendly man. I found molded bread in my breakfast and I saw it to the waiter. Then he went to kitchen and one of Stuart came out and said they always use expired breads for bolt out oils from sausages and insulted me. When I checked out they had made wrong bill also. Fortunately I looked it twice and got my money back that they had added wrongly.

The front desk staff are not attentive and helpful. Had to wait for 10 minutes to make an inquiry. Food at the restaurant are over-priced with limited choice. This restaurant does not even have a bar and you need to go out if you need a drink! Be prepared to climb long flight of stairs to access your rooms. Best to avoid and look elsewhere.

Pros all cons no pros. Will never visit again!!! Cons: very bad location difficult for vehicles to reach Bath rooms have got very very bad smell Staff don’t know English and the hotel seems to have told waiters to save on free breakfast and other facilities. They would not serve you the breakfast what u ask for.

Best hotel in Nuwara Eliya……..The hotel is a little higher up the hill….Breakfast was very good! The Hotel staff is very friendly……The view from the room was very nice! The lake can be seen from the hotel……Sri Lankan people really nice and friendly!

For the price ($25), I feel as though I shouldn’t complain, but the bathroom didn’t quite feel clean, and we didn’t have any hot water. The staff arranged another room we could shower in, but we didn’t have time in the morning to be hopping around between rooms.
