Great Service and a nice room”
The only thing that was a little weird was that the first floor (where the lobby would be is a bar/ night club. You check in near motel area after 3 p.m. Other than that, the room was very nice and so was the staff.

Good”
First the good. One block from Fremont experience and two blocks from mob museum. Friendly staff and room was mostly clean. The bad, marred floors, walls, tile and furniture. No coffee and no jacuzzi. Very small rooms even though I paid for superior queen. Sometimes cheap price is not worth it. Only book if you are a solo male on a budget.

Nightmare hotel”
Stayed on the building side of the hotel not by the pool which a night is a club in the day time looks cool a quite with games cool lights . But at night . When you want go into your room you got to wait in line as if you going into the club and get escorted to the elevator by black thugs acting all hard and if you want stay in the club you have to go outside come in wait in line get padded down show I’d and room key to your room and get in no pay . One night there was a big fight outside bunch of blacks fighting with each other security and clubbers my girl was scared and realize I made a big mistake staying there . Was not comfortable staying there next time I’ll pay a little for peace of mind . Stay away from this place !

Oasis Honest Review”
We were a pair of couples that were traveling together. The rooms were reasonably good, but there was a terrible smell from level floor 5 and above, it smelled like rotten vegetables. One of the handles in the elevators was broken and the elevator was a complete nightmare. The elevator would take us to the wrong floor, and they weren’t working very well. Some of the places on the premises were not very clean, etc.

Don’t waste your money! ”
I booked 4 nights at this hotel... and they were the worst nights of my life. First of all— I am in a family of four : my wife, my son, and my dog—the hotel doesn’t regularly update there information on third party booking sites... meaning there’s a lot of out-of-date information, such as the hotel stating they are pet friendly when they are not anymore. It’s an extra $500 dollar charge to keep your pet with you. Luckily, I have family in town so, I didn’t have to pay that—but still—that’s outrageous. Why wouldn’t they find the time to update their changes to booking sites? They still get a cut of your money so, what’s the problem? They’re just lazy and careless! Another problem is the parking. They have a small parking lot in front of the check-in. Once it gets full, you need to park across the street to their other lot. If that lot gets full, well... you need to find parking in the street or another place. I went down for this Halloween weekend so... imagine how hard it was to find parking on Halloween day? Yeah, it was horrible! I just had my brother-in-law drive my car and drop me off and pick me up the next day. It was better than paying an arm and a leg for street parking, or risking to get towed or broken into. The cleanness was another big issue. When we first enter our room, we already noticed that our room wasn’t clean. The floor was dirty and the shower was awful. Not to mention, there were black stocking in one of the night stands. Because of this, my wife and I almost split because I had a hard time explaining to her that I didn’t know where the stocking came from. Lastly, the staff is very rude and lazy. On Saturday night the gate was locked. I don’t know if the staff did it or if it was a guest who accidentally locked it... but they were a lot of us trying to get inside. We buzzed the office so they can let us in, but they never did. Someone had to hop the gate and let us in. Overall, this hotel is over priced for what it offers. There’s a $90 dollar

Absolutely the worst experience of my lifetime ”
If you stay here on the weekend, understand that your room is on top of a RATCHET NIGHT CLUB. You will need the earplugs that they literally hand you at check in to get a decent night’s rest. To access your room SECURITY NEEDS TO TAKE YOU THROUGH THR CLUB. Ridiculous. When I woke up to use the bathroom and turned on the bathroom lights, ROACHES WERE EVERYWHERE ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR. This place is absolutely disgusting in every way.

We had a few days off and wanted to have some fun without splurging.”
The Gold Spike was a lot of fun. It's an adult playground with games everywhere. The room itself was clean and minimalist. Our room was above the 'backyard' so it got pretty loud, but earplugs were provided. Nice touch. I liked being 1 street away from Fremont Street. Close and also far from the crazy. I would definitely stay at the Oasis again. Thanks.

UN ATTENTIVE, RUDE CUSTOMER SERIVCE. ”
we wanted the stay in las vegas, as we do every year to be special and this time we thought it more important to give back to the local community and stay at gold spike. never again. the front desk and reps and manager have terrible attitudes, no thanks, we're going back to spending our money on the strip and giving corporate business our money and be treated like kings/queens instead. no thanks gold spike, keep your attitudes in old vegas, such a shame for millenials like us that care about thriving local communities, not worth the money youre saving. back to the strip!!

Great location in Downtown Las Vegas”
Great location in Downtown Las Vegas, close to Freemont Street. The Deuce bus stop and ticket machine is also nearby, for easy access to Las Vegas Strip. Room was clean, comfortable and all facilities worked. Manager was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The only negative was the Resort Fee. It would have been better if mentioned at the time of booking, rather than the customer being notified at check in. Would definitely use again.

Very noisy”
Bands played right outside the north facing tower rooms unit 1:30 am. Even though we booked the Oasis were put in the tower called the Gold Spike. We asked to be relocated to the more trendy Oasis after a rough night in the tower. Coffe was great. Staff was friendly. Pool water was too cold to swim in
