Not the newest hotel but location was great! Small pets allowed is a plus! Pool was great, place is mostly for young families and 20-30 yo singles!! Enjoyed the view and the beach very much!!

Nice but older hotel”

This hotel is right in the popular area of A1A destinations. It doe not have that resort feeling but doesnt have the resort price either. Older hotel that shows sign of needing maintenance. The Manager was very friendly and said that they were soon to rebuild the whole site.

Ocean Breeze Club Hotel. The Hotel stinks when you enter. The hole Hotel is run down and outdated. ”

The owners must never reinvest money back into there Businesses. The parking at the Hotel is outrageous. Unless you don’t leave the parking area finding an open parking spot is nonexistent. The Balcony still had bottle caps and cigarette butts on the floor. Bedding was stained and old. The pillows had Holiday inn labeled on them. The inside plate for the microwave didn’t revolve. The walls we’re dirty and in desperate need of new paint. The ceiling needed some patch work done to in. We found a pair of sunglasses in the pull out bed. Just another indication of things not cleaned. The bathroom toilet was scared up a little bit. The scaring made an appearance that someone had just used it. Rusted pipes and shower rods also could be seen. There was cracked cement on the balcony also. This was mostly cosmetic. The railings like everything else needed some paint. The lock or latch on the slider to the balcony needed repaired. Sorry, I didn’t have enough room to finish my list.

Very poor service. Unfriendly staff. Horrible smell in the lobby and halls. Blood on the walls on 2nd floor. Two elevators for over 10 stories. Took forever waiting for the elevator. Walls down the halls could really use fresh paint. Will never come back to the hotel again. Absolutely horrible and pictures definitely told a different story. Very disappointed.

Needs repairs ”

The hotel needs repairs. The patio door leading to the deck had a 1/4in gap on the non sliding door. The wind coming through was wistiling. It was only held there with a few pieces of metal and screws. The other door to the deck did not close and in the wind it keep slamming against the building. The toilet needed to be tightened to the floor. There is not ample parking either.

Chose this hotel because they were pet friendly, when we arrived, and I smelled it I would have cancelled reservations but last minute reservations during spring break with a dog would be hard to replace, so we had to stay, but we did not enjoy our time in this hotel.

My Beach Front Hotel On Daytona Beach, FL”

This was a vacation soooooo well needed !!! Everything at Ocean Breeze Club hotel was great, the beach Front, the Hugh pool, the Hugh room with very comfortable queen size beds, beautiful lobby and restaurant. The only issue was the limited parking spaces and only one elevator was working. Other than that, this hotel was EXCELLENT. We were told that the entire hotel will get a total refurbishing this December.

Pleasantly Surprised!”

After reading some reviews on this hotel, we expected the worst. We were pleasantly surprised because our experience was nothing compared to some of the other reviews. Check in was with Amanda and she was awesome! ALL hotel personnel we came in contact with were professional and friendly. It's an older hotel with some dated issues but our room was very clean! Our tv and phone didn't work at first but a quick trip to the front desk and both were fixed. Our room (820) was an oceanview as well as street/city view and the views were perfect. People have reviewed about the slow elevators. In my opinion, they worked no differently than any other elevator I've ever been in. The trick is not to wait on the elevator that's going your direction. We never had to wait more than a min or so. The pool and beach access were great! Housekeeping needs better training because our trash and dirty towels were picked up only once in 4 days. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay!

What More Could I Ask For?”

Room was clean upon arrival. I think the cleaning service is only every other day unless you check out. Cleaning staff was very responsive with any requests like more towels. The only thing I could find wrong with the room was that the door was a little hard to get opened but I did not let anyone know that so I have no right to complain. My wife and daughter really enjoyed the four nights we stay there and I will gladly stay there again. The price was fantastic so what more could I ask for?

Excellent”

Location is excellent but property is a little run down. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast buffet was good and hostess was very friendly and informative. Pool tile could of been cleaner for the 4th of July weekend. But would definitely stay there again.

Excellent value”

This hotel is popular with young families. If you might be bothered by noisy children running around, take that into account. The hotel adds a "resort fee", (which most hotels are doing now) to cover parking, Wifi and so forth, so you might want to ask in advance what your total cost is going to be. I would prefer all inclusive pricing. Access to the pool and Daytona Beach is excellent -- just a short walk. The pool is nice and not crowded. The room itself was very large and less expensive than the competition. It included a kitchenette (full size refrigerator, microwave, cupboard and sink). There was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The furniture was high grade, and only lightly worn. We checked out late but the staff it was perfectly OK. I could not have asked for more.

This place could definitely use an update and closer overflow parking but overall we had a wonderful time. Great bar service. Wonderful food in the restaurant. Located right on the beach so you can catch plenty of sun.

Pleasant staff and nice layout”

i have stayed at this hotel several times and i will continue to stay there. the hotel is clean and fairly well kept. the only areas that need some attention are some of the bathroom floors and the door that you scan to get in your room need some cosmetic attention. besides that, the staff are accomodating, rooms are a nice layout, the balcony view of the beach is nice. the swimming pool area appears to be well maintained and the buffet breakfast is nice to have. like i said, i will continue coming back and staying at this hotel because i am quite happy with my stay there.

Great Hotel!!”

On Spring Break we had a DJ on the pool deck, 3 minute walk to bars and restaurants, and great drink specials all week. Friendly Staff and room was spacious. Me and my girlfriend had a great time with $1 beers that were on special and hotel was always kept tidy and clean. Overall a Great Time. Would definitely recommend to others and would travel back anytime.

Plaza Ocean Club”

Our family was in Daytona for a cheerleading competition, we stayed 2 nights. When we arrived, the lobby was full of cheerleaders, the staff were calm and very helpful to all present. We checked in very quickly and smoothly. Overall, it was a very nice stay... the rooms were more of the old Daytona style, but they were clean.

Back to School Visit”

I travel to Daytona at least 3 - 4 times annually to visit my daughter who attends school in the area. I have chosen Plaza Ocean Club on all but one of the trips and that was because I let someone else make our reservations. The hotel is generally clean and easily accessible for guests. My very picky wife likes the amenities and proximity to all the local fun spots such as beach, clubs, restuarant and nightlife within at most a short walk from the hotel. I would prefer not to pay for parking while a guest at the hotel, but $5 a night is reasonable in comparison to other area resort caliber hotels. With access to the facilities of the larger Plaza Hotel next door, you get all the fluff without all the usual costs. I love it.

Pay for what you get”

The room was clean, so that was nice. But this hotel does show its age.....everywhere. The emergency exit door's door push bar was rusted out so it did not close all the way. The one of the elevator's door would not open for a certain floor when it was going down. You had to go up before going down. The electrical outlets would not hold a plug very well. The pool looked nice.
