We were surprised how big the suite is, and it is fairly impressive that it is all furnished. TV in both the living room and the bedroom, and even cooking facilities are available. The hotel is not very new but I believe they have renovated it before as everything is in running order. Love the number of channels in the TV, you literally dont feel like stepping out of the room. Location wise it is just next to the sea, you can just cross the road for a nice sunset view. 15 mins drive to Galle Face Green, they have a lovely evening bazaar daily. You will need a driver to get you around anyway. Breakfast spread is also decent, both local and international fare. Would love staying here again in future.

This was a great place to stay in Colombo. Spacious, clean and with friendly helpful staff. The WiFi worked brilliantly in the room and the breakfast was good.

Last minute booking”
We were here for one night only, and we booked in the early morning before arriving. The accommodation says 'includes breakfast' but when we had finished breakfast we got a bill for one person. It would have been nice to be told that the booking only covered for one person when we arrived at the reception. Also we wanted to use the facilities of the pool/jacuzzi space which says is there til 9pm but we were there from 8.15pm and there was no one and when we asked they said the jacuzzi space is there til 7pm. The hotel need to communicate better but the room was beautiful and spacious, we had a construction view so we kept the curtains closed. However it was a beautiful apartment that was beyond my expectations!

Value for money.. you get what you paid for.. Good location, Good food but limited menu. Very nice and friendly staff.. good gym.. small pool but very well kept... As usual like every other ocean facing hotel, you never get the ocean view room.. got partial view though. Dont understand these reception staff save the full ocean view rooms for exactly which type of guests..

Good spot with a lovely view”
The hotel was very helpful and accommodating. I felt at home. However the hotel needs to be maintained more. The staff are very kind, especially Alifa from the front desk and my favorite Dilshan. They also need to improve the dining area. The staff are very good but the hotel building needs better maintenance

Thrre were much dust , spot, and hair on the floor, tub ,and bathroom. The were a few food residues on the table. The most disgusting thing is that they didn't chang the stirrer which had been used by last guest.

had issues with the bath tub which was clogged . for checkout at 1500LT, you needed to pay more than half of the room rate, while i booked a ocean view room and got a side view of the ocean . GYM equipment's needs to be updated as well as weights are worn off now .

Good average hotel”
The room was really big and had a beautiful view. But the building itself is not maintained well. The hallway would smell and the bathroom and sheets were not clean. I didn’t complain as my stay was short and i liked the staff. Mr Alifa was amazing and Dilshan too. They are the reason I would recommend the hotel. It has good ac and cooking facilities but the place needs to be maintained better.

Bed Linen with Dirty sticky substance”
Awful, the quilt cover has not been cleaned, it had dirty sticky substance spread over two spot each around 4 inch diameter. Informed the staff that this is against the basic hygiene practices. The balcony had not been cleaned for several weeks and it is full of cigarette butts. Staff at the reception is very nice. Bell boy's service is commendable.

Budget Hotel - You pay for what you get”
You pay for what you get. The stay could have been more comfortable but for the low price I guess it is to be expected. The staff were very courteous and ready to assist. The bed was clean but the bed room carpet was very unclean and soiled. The toilet too was not fully cleaned. Overall furniture was old and tired. The TV had many Indian channels and a few English. The food at the restaurant was of low quality and barely edible. The restaurant also had the ambience of a canteen. The entrance to the hotel is confusing and many taxi drivers could not locate the place. The lobby and entrance could be improved. Disappointed really because there is much potential if this property were to be better managed.

Dirtiest hotel i have ever been.!”
Hotel was located in a good area. The staff were good but when i checked in to my room there was a dead cockroach beside my bed. Toilet was dirty. Carpet was very dirty. Furniture was old. I checked every category room in the hotel but it was the same.! I immediately checked out leaving the room i have paid for the night. It was obvious the hotel needs lot of cleaning and renovation.! I will never come there again.!

Our room with the balcony and view of the ocean with a table and chair were not at all as seen. Pool is pretty much useless. Gym was ok. the area has nothing to talk about and the beach is very close but not usable. And you have to cross a main road/higway to get there. Also some train tracks that are used, by, well, a train. I waited about 40 minutes for a Caeser salad and tuna sandwich. First bad review from me on a hotel with agoada

Total Mess”
This hotel needs a thorough cleanup, from staff to the floors. The hotel maybe old but if it was maintained properly things would have been better. The hotel was very dusty and I do not know when the rugs and carpets were last cleaned. The aircon in the lift usually do not work and I was fortunate I stayed in a lower floor. The aircon in my room did not swing and I had a blocked nose every morning when I wake up. Please note that this was the second room I was offered when I complained about the first one. 99% of the time the cable TV did not work. Maintenance & Housekeeping needs to be overhauled.
