Worst experience I've ever had with a hotel!!!!!”
Beyond atrocious!!!!!! I have never been belittled and spoken to so RUDELY by an employee of a hotel or anywhere for that matter. 2 of my party of 4 went to check in last night (it was prior to 10pm) and they were immediately turned away from a room that had been PAID FOR IN FULL a few days prior (the room was $470 dollars). They were flabbergasted. They were turned away because they checked in after 6pm (I do a ton of traveling and have NEVER been turned away from a paid in full room). The woman behind the counter claimed that they had been trying to reach me all day. I received no phone calls or e-mails from the hotel. I called to see what was going on and I was very rudely told that they had been trying to reach me all day (false) and that they had canceled the room a half hour prior and already resold the room because it was way too late (it was 945). I said ok, you've refunded me then right? "Oh no, that's not our policy" (which, by the way, is also a lie, stated on their own website it says that they refund everything except the deposit fee WHICH THAT FEE IS NOT LISTED ANYWHERE) I then said but you've already resold the room???? "Oh no, we didn't resell it, but they can't check in and it's your responsibility to keep track of your reservation not me." She continued to be rude and belittle me and then after saying she was going to refund me changed her mind and said if I wanted to have my money back I needed to call in the morning and hung up on me. I called back this morning and politely asked for a manager. After refusing me to speak to a manager the woman (same from last night) continued to be rude to me and belittle me after I very calmly explained that I wanted to speak to someone after a conversation I had with a rude employee last night and to get my refund.
