Very Enjoyable Stay”
My wife, son and I stayed here for three nights Sunday to Wednesday, and were really surprised by how nice the location was. Next to Kenting Street but just far away enough to be able to sleep peacefully. The staff were lovely, the room was beautiful and has a nice view of the scenery (alas, not an ocean view but nice enough). There were plenty of complementary items in the room and a water machine right outside the door (no safety for kids on hot water though). Breakfast was just a sandwich from around the corner, so don't expect too much. For the price, this was exactly what I needed. It's about a third the price of a night in the Howard Resort, which I stayed at a few years before and was a complete waste of money. Boutique hotels like this are much better and the service is more on a personal level.

Relaxing, comfortable”
The staff and owner were very helpful during our trip. the location is great as its only 2 mins walk from the main street, whilst the hotel surrounding is quiet. The room was spacious, and we even had our balcony which had the stay very relaxing as we could hang out and watch stars. The breakfast looks simple but very yummy. this place has a family home feel to it, which we wpuld ateongly recommed to all travelers. We would definitely revisit ocean star and kenting soon again， as its such a beautiful and.simple place.

Very enjoyable stay, met my expectations”
Had a great stay at the Ocean Star. We were in a normal double room, as we couldnt get the deluxe double for the first night. room was average for the double, but in saying so more than adequate with large bath room. The deluxe double for the 2 night after, was excellent. had our own balcony and the room was large. The location of the hotel is excellent, of the busy main street, thus quite and relaxing at night and morning. The place is also just 5 mins walk from the main street, so access to eating places and convenient store was good. The owner (lady) was so friendly and helpful, which is always helpful for newbies to Kenting. Would highly recommend the place to those that are new to kenting like we were.

Convenient location”
Without notification before hand, the staff told us that ocean star B and B was full and our room was arranged in a nearby hostel. We were angry because that hostel was small, not reasonable priced and far from our expectation. After our complaint, the owner of B and B agreed to give us free breakfast and refund as compensation. Moreover, we could stay at B and B after 1 night. The room in B and B is quite beautiful and spacious. It only requires 3 min to walk frm hostel to Kending street. But the hostel area is quiet at night.

love the design of the room”
We got a room designed in purple with seashells, pebbles and flowers! A peep into the other rooms shows that they are all of different design. Room is spacious and is near to kenting da jie. It is a home run b&b, therefore it's really friendly but information booked with one party does not convey to the others and you have to repeat again even though they did helped in processing your issues.

Very convenience”
Every room in the hostel is unique and beautiful. I have lived on the top floor with a tremendous view at the balcony, the room is also clean and large. The hostel is within 2 minutes walk from the main street of Kenting where there are huge variety of good food.

Great little B&B”
A really friendly little B&B located just off the main road. Perfect for going out and enjoying the night life but being able to sleep quietly at night. The staff were all really friendly and hard working. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

It's a very nice hotel nearing the Kenting Street, very quiet with mountain view. It's very convientent to go to evening market and bus station. Also, the service is good.

Great Staff and Host”
Close to the main drag, but off on a side street, so it's nice and peaceful too. we had a balcony with a nice view of the hills too. The host was super helpful in orienting us and recommending plans for us

Good room in great location”
The room was quite spacey and meeting all our requirements. While travelling with kids we found it great that there was a washing machine and big roof top balcony where we could dry clothes. The best about this hotel is that it is not located at the main road but a two minutes walk from there which makes it pleasantly quite while still retaining easy access to all attractions.

We booked 2 family rooms with balcony but was only given 1 room with balcony. quite disappointed. The room was comfort and big. The location was great, situated in the heart of night market.

my stay was very good , the room is clean and spacious, bathtub is very big, its very close to shopping area and lots of restaurant, 15 minutes walk to the main beach.
